I think Man of Steel would be first place mainly for me because of time period. Although I enjoy christopher reeves superman, they are quite old and a bit dated especially for some one born in the early 2000s like myself.
1: The Dark Knight Fantastic. It’s 3 hours and is virtually never slow. Has Heath Ledgers iconic performance as Joker, and Aaron Eckharts super underrated performance as two face. 2: Batman Begins Honestly just as good as The Dark Knight. I go back and forth on which one I like more. This definitely has the most Batman vibe of the trilogy. 3: Batman ‘89 I love the aesthetic of the movie. Keaton isn’t the best Batman but he’s iconic and has an awesome suit, and if you ask me Jack Nicholson’s Joker is yet to be topped in live action. 4: The Dark Knight Rises The only one of the dark knight trilogy to be kind of slow to me in some areas. Bane is one of the best batman villains we’ve seen yet though, and Anne Hathaways great too. 5: Batman Forever Very underrated movie. Schumacher nails that 60’s Batman tone, and it’s visually one of the coolest comic book movies ever. Jim Carry is great as Riddler but Two face kinda sucks. I also dig Kilmer as Batman. 6: Batman And Robin Ok this one might get me killed but here me out. This movies biggest issue is tonal inconsistency. There are some parts that are very serious, like Alfreds story, which are great. Then you have the rest thats super campy and 60’s esque. I dig both of them on their own, but together it forms an odd feeling. But anyways Uma is actually great as poison ivy if you ask me, and arnold is okay as mr freeze. And The visuals are once again top notch. 7: Batman Returns Yeah this movies just strange. There’s really nothing else to say. It’s ok, I don’t necessarily hate anything going on, but it’s just so damn weird. You can really tell Tim Burton didn’t understand the material that well. 8: Batman V Superman I know you snyder fans will disagree but this movie is just super boring for me. And I know what Snyder was going for with batman, but to me a batman who kills people just isn’t batman. I loved man of steel, and thusly superman is probably the best part of the movie. But other than that, I’ll probably never watch it again.
Cool to see Batman Forever love. I agree about Superman being the best part of BvS 👍! Would that be the Theatrical Cut or the Ultimate Edition? Why no mention of Batman being a killer in Batman or Batman Returns?
@@thenoirknight5729 I’ve only seen the ultimate edition, and I didn’t mention him being a killer in Returns or ‘89 because it’s more downplayed in that movie, the no kill rule is more so just ignored than broken. Whereas in bvs he’s actually gunning down criminals left and right. Plus I just generally think ‘89 is a good movie so it gets off the hook a lot easier than BVS 😂
The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 and 2 are one of my favourite Batman animated movies that I would rank them even higher than Under the Red Hood. Also Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is an underrated gem.
I never took any batmen seriously until I saw Batfleck. Batfleck's Bruce Wayne persona has that unshakable confident rich guy suaveness. Batfleck's portrayal of batman suited just the way Zack wanted his Batman to be. Scarred, old and mad. And his BvS suit and Nightmare suit design will always be the best Batman suit. We can see Batfleck's character development through BvS to JL and that made me love Batfleck more.
I too love Batfleck's development. I like that we see it even through the suits that he wears. The main BvS suit shows age and has a ton of battle scars. Meanwhile the main ZSJL suit is very clean and has almost a blue tint to the black
also the ones that are in awe at Pattinson's displays of rage as Batman, saying that this is the first time the brutality of the character will be properly explored (while ignoring Batfleck altogether for stupid reasons). don't get me wrong, I think Pattinson is a worthy successor and, in my mind, he could've been the best choice for a young Batfleck.. but it just bugs me to no end that people act like this is the first time we're seeing a brutal Batman on the big screen.

Dark Knight Rises is the best of the Nolan series’s. The scope and scale is epic, the action/fights superior, the stakes are higher, the villain more intimidating (yes he lacks the charisma, but I weigh intimidation over charisma when it comes to villains) and the way it brought home all the elements of the previous two films was fantastic. Additionally, all technical elements are improved upon including the soundtrack, cinematography and overall direction. It’s a superior film in almost every category and I’d wager Nolan would feel the same.
Dude it would honestly be sick if you did a video on Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. While Dark Knight takes my top spot for movies with Batman man in it. Mask of the Phantasm is imo the best Batman movie ever made. The score, the story, the acting, just everything. I think Batman v Superman is a really underrated movie. Does it have core flaws? Yes. Was it doomed from the start? Yes. But is it enjoyable as hell and still has really good development for Batman? Hell to the fuck yes. The movie gives us a really new and fresh take on the Batman character that we have never really seen, and I like the way they develop his character through the Snyder cut of Justice League. Did I think they kinda fucked him up in BvS? Yeah, but they made it work in the Snyder cut, so the movie only really becomes better.

I think Jessie Eisenberg could have been good as Lex Luthor based on the Time Magazine promo, but the actual portrayal we got in BvS was garbo

Couldnt agree more. Love your videos
I would love your opinion on every Superman film ranked but I feel like man of steel would be in first place since we love our Lord and savior himself Zach Snyder....I think I love man of steel and Henry Cavill has Superman way too much
I think Man of Steel would be first place mainly for me because of time period. Although I enjoy christopher reeves superman, they are quite old and a bit dated especially for some one born in the early 2000s like myself.
1: The Dark Knight
Fantastic. It’s 3 hours and is virtually never slow. Has Heath Ledgers iconic performance as Joker, and Aaron Eckharts super underrated performance as two face.
2: Batman Begins
Honestly just as good as The Dark Knight. I go back and forth on which one I like more. This definitely has the most Batman vibe of the trilogy.
3: Batman ‘89
I love the aesthetic of the movie. Keaton isn’t the best Batman but he’s iconic and has an awesome suit, and if you ask me Jack Nicholson’s Joker is yet to be topped in live action.
4: The Dark Knight Rises
The only one of the dark knight trilogy to be kind of slow to me in some areas. Bane is one of the best batman villains we’ve seen yet though, and Anne Hathaways great too.
5: Batman Forever
Very underrated movie. Schumacher nails that 60’s Batman tone, and it’s visually one of the coolest comic book movies ever. Jim Carry is great as Riddler but Two face kinda sucks. I also dig Kilmer as Batman.
6: Batman And Robin
Ok this one might get me killed but here me out.
7: Batman Returns
Yeah this movies just strange. There’s really nothing else to say. It’s ok, I don’t necessarily hate anything going on, but it’s just so damn weird. You can really tell Tim Burton didn’t understand the material that well.
8: Batman V Superman
I know you snyder fans will disagree but this movie is just super boring for me.
Batman v superman is better than the dark knight rises and Batman begins
I love your videos so much because everytime you post some of the funniest memes ive seen in a long time!👍
The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 and 2 are one of my favourite Batman animated movies that I would rank them even higher than Under the Red Hood.
Also Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is an underrated gem.
Same. TDKR is a masterpeice
I agree with your list completely, I prefer Begins to Rises tho.
@@thenoirknight5729 more like a brand new suit
"We live in a society where people hate batfleck for killing criminals but also like Christian Bale as the best Batman(even tho he kills criminals)"

Truer words have never been spoken
also the ones that are in awe at Pattinson's displays of rage as Batman, saying that this is the first time the brutality of the character will be properly explored (while ignoring Batfleck altogether for stupid reasons). don't get me wrong, I think Pattinson is a worthy successor and, in my mind, he could've been the best choice for a young Batfleck.. but it just bugs me to no end that people act like this is the first time we're seeing a brutal Batman on the big screen.

The dark knight is better than batman begins and batman v superman: dawn of justice
It’s a superior film in almost every category and I’d wager Nolan would feel the same.
your a real one for going back & forth on Batman begins or dark knight rises. truly interchangeable depending on the day/
Cutting that half hour out of BvS really does ruin it. The methodical slow burn pacing is turned into a choppy, poorly paced mess.
They way batman begins was filmed turns me off from rewatching it. Everything feels too close up
Dude it would honestly be sick if you did a video on Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. While Dark Knight takes my top spot for movies with Batman man in it. Mask of the Phantasm is imo the best Batman movie ever made. The score, the story, the acting, just everything. The people who made it really saw a damn film aimed at kids and said, "yea lets go ahead and make the best Batman movie ever guy."
Solid video btw

I think Batman v Superman is a really underrated movie. Does it have core flaws? Yes. Was it doomed from the start? Yes. But is it enjoyable as hell and still has really good development for Batman? Hell to the fuck yes. The movie gives us a really new and fresh take on the Batman character that we have never really seen, and I like the way they develop his character through the Snyder cut of Justice League. Did I think they kinda fucked him up in BvS? Yeah, but they made it work in the Snyder cut, so the movie only really becomes better.

I hope we can get a proper adaptation of the Red Rain Elseworlds story, but for now, The Batman vs. Dracula is a worthy treatment of that tale. also that show as a whole doesn't get the love it deserves.

Batman '66 - It's what it is and I love it for that.
Batman V Superman - it's ok not great, I like the long, slow build story as well and Ben Affleck is great, i'm gonna miss him when he goes.
Batman '89 - Loved it more as a kid but i still think it's a good movie.
Batman Begins - Good movie, never thought it was great but it is a good origin.
