The reason why they throw the toilet paper in the trash is because in a lot of poor neighborhoods/towns in Mexico the plumbing is really bad and they don’t want to clog the plumbing. Sometimes it was taught to someone as a child and they just continue to teach it to their kids even though the plumbing has been modernized. In border cities in the U.S. they even have signs in the bathrooms telling people not to throw used toilet paper in the trash.

The most hilarious thing I've ever witnessed is an elderly Asian man walking up to me, ( a mixed African-American/White man) at work and asked me if I liked fried chicken. I work at a service deli where we sell it, so I said a bit, I don't really eat much since I work with it all day. I went to college in El Paso, Texas, which is one of the friendliest places in America by the way. I loved it. A broke college kid never went hungry because my friends’ parents cared about my well being. That city is nearly 100% Latino with you having to speak Spanish for the most part to get by, and they are racist against their own people. That tripped me out. Most American born Hispanic people in that city, and outside of it, are very racist against native Mexican people. I don’t know how many times I have heard them call the people from across the bridge trash. They hate them with a passion because they feel Mexicans give them a bad rep. That really opened my eyes because I never knew racism existed in a usually unified race of people. I got nothing but love in that city, and I am Black myself. Never felt a drop of racism in El Paso. The reason why they throw the toilet paper in the trash is because in a lot of poor neighborhoods/towns in Mexico the plumbing is really bad and they don’t want to clog the plumbing. Sometimes it was taught to someone as a child and they just continue to teach it to their kids even though the plumbing has been modernized. In border cities in the U.S. they even have signs in the bathrooms telling people not to throw used toilet paper in the trash.

I went to college in El Paso, Texas, which is one of the friendliest places in America by the way. I loved it. A broke college kid never went hungry because my friends’ parents cared about my well being. That city is nearly 100% Latino with you having to speak Spanish for the most part to get by, and they are racist against their own people. That tripped me out. Most American born Hispanic people in that city, and outside of it, are very racist against native Mexican people. I don’t know how many times I have heard them call the people from across the bridge trash. They hate them with a passion because they feel Mexicans give them a bad rep. That really opened my eyes because I never knew racism existed in a usually unified race of people. I got nothing but love in that city, and I am Black myself. Never felt a drop of racism in El Paso. This man may be joking, but he’s telling the absolute truth.
