i'm, back at school on a bus trip to brighton to see bathing boxes.where did nearly 30 years ago, i feel the same but my body has a different point of view. a bit of simple minds in this awesome , breath taking , magnificent track off australia's gr8est lp after 'sons of beaches'and before 'kick'.
3500 views? WTF? That's not right. This song, and band, should have at least 100, 000+ hits. What a great song and band of the 80s. I saw them in 1983 at the Tivoli in Sydney. Those were the days for great Australian electronic/synth music. Music now is a load of caca. Give me a Time Machine now please! Take me back to the 80s. Thankyou. Grumpy old man! Not really.
@@elenaloverso2295 Hi Elena. Every time I listen to this song it brings back memories of living in Sydney, a young 18 year old seeing all those amazing Aussie bands and loving every minute of it. What an amazing music scene Australia had in the 80s. Now! Mostly shit. PS. I play synth in a band and we do mostly 80s covers. Love it!
@@luisdelvalle1965 hey Luis great to receive some insight from the times! Loved reading it 😍 I was around 16 when I fondly remember hearing the Venetians on the radio when me and my siblings use to go fruit picking with dad on the weekends. I have to agree 100% with you in reference to the Aussie music scene in the 80s - it was undoubtedly Amazing! I wish I had the same opportunity as you to see some of the bands back then but being a young italian girl that was out of the question! 🤣 ..but that's the way it was - thank you Lord for Countdown 😍 I have to say though I have made up for the lost opportunities since then and I've seen many shows of my fave bands that are still on the circuit today. Oh how Awesome 🙌 - you're in a synth band! That's sooo cooool.. What's your band name? I'm from Victoria any chance I can search the band? Warm regards 👋
I have this video but had to comment because I ADORE this track sooooooo deeply *
