Achel Monastery Trappist Brewery on Belgium 🇧🇪 & Netherlands 🇳🇱 border

Finally, we were able to visit Achel, a famous Trappist Brewery on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium.
Please keep in mind that you should not come here for the food. There are a few dessert and sandwich options, but this visit is primarily about the beer. You can order a blond or a bruin beer in either draft or bottle form. The great thing about the abbey is that you can drink beer on a peaceful terrace in a rural setting while learning about the abbey's history during World War I-there is a Great War exhibition at the abbey. There is also a fantastic beer store with an incredible selection of Belgian beers. Definitely worth to visit as a beer lover!
