Super keen to hear what you think of this subject of easy reductions in energy use, particularly in our choices of vehicles including electric cars. The other area we could make some easy gains is in the retail space with some SUPER WASTEFUL practices happening here. Finally cant wait to hear your thoughts on the 'Camp Fire Chat' concept of opinion piece videos. Thanks for watching :)
All good suggestions. I would say keep your dual cab ute or Land Cruiser but just leave it in the garage 90% of the time. Purchase small EVs with 100km range as your daily driver. They will be lighter, cheaper & more efficient. 0 range anxiety if you have a ice vehicle for the 5% & probably cheaper than selling your ute and buying a massive EV with a huge battery for over a 100 grand.
We have the large 4WD navara Dual cab, my wife drives day to day, I drive a small ford focus. The difference in Fuel economy is 1.8L/km Looking forward to an affordable EV. The HVAC issue is the biggest use of electricity both at home and in shops and offices, you are so right, set to 18 in Summer and 24 in winter, grrr. In Japan many of the multi story shops have the air intake for the HVAC 60% from ground floor and 40% fresh. Another one is the HUGE Video advertising screens on shops, they should be banned.

Nice idea. Have now examined Aldi with new eyes, excellent design there.
Great format for opinion pieces. If you really want to ramp it up invite some mates and add some beers and the opinions will really flow! 😂
Thanks Simon, was thinking about that. 👍
How about not only converting all traffic lights to LED but also make the lights smart so to minimise cars stopping and idling.
Agree! And even turning them off completely after hours like they do in many European cities. Thanks for watching.
👍
Have you not heard of Sky Noise After Dark…….(hint….the journalists leave the building after 5).
Lol echo chamber much. Let me guess, everyone that disagrees with you is as an idiot
