  • A large fire is currently burning at a lithium battery manufacturing plant in South Korea. One person has been confirmed dead, and at least 21 others are unaccounted for. The incident occurred in Hwaseong, in Gyeonggi province, in the northwestern part of the country. Over 140 firefighters have been dispatched to the factory to attempt to contain the blaze. However, fire chiefs report that it is impossible for crews to enter the premises due to the continuous explosions of battery cells.

Authority such as Yoon and his cabinet members need to be alert and perform regular audits on these high-risk businesses.
Don't learn from disasters. Remember the bad accident at Jeju and Itaewon.
We still remember. Thought S Korea is a very well governed country. Maybe only in K drama. Sad.

This is not the electric vehicle battery company you're talking about.
As a lithium battery plant, smart meters such as electricity, gas, and water, and smart grids applied to energy drilling equipment such as oil and gas, or military use maintenance are the main markets.

I hope you're joking or you're kidding me, I've never heard that traditional batteries catch fire but on the other hand lithium ion batteries contain fuel and oxidizer inside them.
