Sithembile is our last born daughter. Yes; she went through a rough patch at a very tender age; got divorced at age 29 after they were married for 4 years and 5 months. Her hubby divorced her because she would not agree with the path of worshipping he was deviating to.
Listened to the entire video and I couldn't get how a true born again, spirit filled blood washed child of God could possibly get married to a pastor who later turned out to be a Sangoma without any signs or warning of danger. As a divorcee myself I've studied this topic intensity because I really wanted healing and understanding. One thing I've noted is that the wages of sin is death and divorce is truly death. I've learnt that God always warns His children of danger and we choose to listen to Him or chase what we want, mostly due to lack of knowledge, lust of the flesh or pride of life. However, I had my aha! moment when Sithembile mentioned only in the end that the elders of her childhood church did try to warn her against marrying this man. So God did warn her but she chose what she chose, the wages of sin is death regardless of what our hearts may think. My marriage did not work because the foundation was not Godly, I fornicated with my ex and I certainly did not ask God for permission to marry him amongst other things. Fortunately I did not go through all the 5 stages of divorce Sithembile mentioned - anger, bitterness and doing crazy partying/ drinking because through out the process I seeked God to understand my part, my sin and His heart. My experience drew me closer to God and He is faithful. I was overwhelmed by His intense love for me. I repented of my part and God was gracious to heal and restore me. I honesty believe that if I had focused on what my husband did to me or didn't do, it was going to take longer for me to heal if I ever healed at all. The bitterness might have been hard to leave my heart. *Edit - forgot to add that my ex husband also divorced me ultimately due different religions. After being given the choice between My God or maintain the social status quo of being a married woman, I chose God, my Daddy Dearest, my Everything. Jesus is Lord❤ Well done Sithembile for choosing God in the end.
You are so good in interviewing Queen Rammy.you are not competing with the guest, you give the guest time to express themselves well. You ask relevant questions, it doesn’t sound like you are trying to find some juicy story. You are respecting the story. As for the topic in hand, I relate tooo much. Thanks for creating this space, so that we can reflect
Greater is He that is in us, than the one that is in the world. He comes to steal, kill and destroy uSathane.. God will never leave us nor forsake us . Amen.
Wow, plz keep sharing such stories. We go thru hardships on closed doors and think your alone and no way out. Holding on and having faith that tomorrow will be better is what we need. Thank u. Loved it.
Sthembile my daughter..you are beautiful..I am taking my hat off for your God our God and for you.Thank you for choosing your God and choosing yourself.I am happy you are co parenting your little girl.. Soldier on my daughter❤ ❤
this was so beautiful to watch, God Restores my sister and its how you narrate the story it shows you are fully healed, learnt and understood why God had to make you go through all of that❤ you are so beautiful and for the fact that you chose God He is going to reward and you still young marriage will come God willingly❤❤❤
For a while now I've been watching podcasts where people that are being interviewed are divorced people within the church. I'm noticing that the voice or opinion of God regarding who to marry seems to be disregarded or rather maybe confirmation isn't being asked? I believe that the lord we serve is so faithful that if we were to seek Him regarding the people we are supposed to marry then he would intervene. I think as a church in SA we forget that we also need to be led by the voice of God when it comes to choosing our partners and not for us to just take matters into our own hands. We cannot trust ourselves to make such an important choice rather let us trust the one who created us. I think we forget that marriage itself is ministry so God's glory should be reflected by it. I think we need to emphasize to the church more about being guided by God's voice especially when it comes to this matter because marriage is a covenant that isn't meant to be broken. The rate of divorces that take place should be a sign to us that there's something we are missing, we are missing the voice of God. Our judgement is not sufficient, especially when it comes to such matters. However we are so blessed to have a merciful God who makes everything work together for the good of those who love him. We are so blessed that he restores whatever the enemy tried to use to cause our destruction.
Well said, God's voice and His will in all we do, including who to marry. I also think we overly credit the devil for our own ignorance, pride of life and lust of the flesh. The sooner we take accountability and responsibilities the better equipped would be to avoid a second divorce for example.
Amen , God is the author of our lives that includes marriage. We often chose husband or wife based on our own views and discernment and the enemy uses it to fall into the trap of marrying the wrong partner. When the children of Israel made a covenant with the Gibeonites The Israelites couldn’t not kill the gibeonites because of the covenant they made without first asking God (Josh. 9:16-27)
That was me, from being born again Christian to ubungoma, but by God's grace I went back to God because I was told in a dream that whoever sacrifes to the pple who hv passed on will go to hell.
I followed her ex hubby on FB and honestly, I discerned the 360 turn she talked about. Though it must’ve been hard to do, I’m so proud of you for choosing God over your ex-husband. May God continue to show off his faithfulness in your life, sisi Sithembile!
The story has made me realise the importance of being honest with your partner before entering a relationship and how important communication is in any relationship..

God wants marriage but why allow divorce, you ask why nothing wrong with her people consult traditional healer before getting married.
Sangomas believe in God... It's a misconception that Sangomas non-belivers...
