Good video! I have discovered the inner gator on my 1.8t gti torn the other day and I must do this job. Great tip to put the clamp between the bolt holes in the first place.
Nice job..i had to replace number 2 coilpack today as it failed causing a misfire..luckily i had a brand new spare at home and just about managed to do it myself..number 3 and 4 have gone over the last 6 years too..just number 1 remains lol..id better get another new spare ready...
@@LarcsWorkshop yes indeed..but when lol..I'll get one asap and keep it close..or may even change it anyway before it goes..no idea how long they last..one went i 2017..one 2019 i think and one today..the one thats left is number 1 cylinder the trickiest one as its right under the oil filler contraption..
It might be wanting too much but i will try replace it without take it off the car. But same time i am thinking might actually be a lot more hard if not off the car.
Good video Larcs Workshop, and good tip about position of the securing clips around the boot.
Thanks, no problems 👍
