I’m a structural repair guy in aviation and I have to say I love how those brackets came out. When you were doing the rivetnuts I couldn’t help but yell “don’t pull the threads out”, ask me how I know 😂😂😂😂. Great work and progress, thanks for the video.
lol thanks! It's great to be seeing progress on this thing again. I've been motivated lately, and getting tons of work done. I'll try to keep up with the updates too!
The coolest renegade in the world. You're going to make waves when this build is complete. I plan on lowering mine and keeping it modest with power. I have a dream of installing a diesel in mine. These motor mounts will be a challenge to modify. They're so high up. Thank you for the content.
Love how this is turning out! I would love to see those awesome plates left unpainted to show the craftsmanship and how even tho it’s an oem+ build it’s still almost all custom stuff.
UA-cam will not notify me of your uploads and it makes me mad because you are really becoming one of my favorite creators thanks for sharing your journey with all of us
Thanks! I had made a revision of the brackets (that I edited out of course) that had adjustment holes for moving front and back, but I figured I'll be the only one driving this thing, so there's really no need. It would be nice to have sliders, but a little more complicated.
Thanks! Yeah i was taking a bit of a break i guess, focusing on my health and house and stuff. I've been making progress slowly, but motivation just hasn't been there. I am glad to get back on this thing though!
They're just some generic 9" round HI Lo beam led headlights I found on amazon, and made some brackets so they'd fit. I'd like to change them up eventually with some higher quality units, but I haven't really found anything. There's tons of 7" options, but not so much for the 9".
Hell yeah man, that means so much! There are some really insane builds out there, so if I'm even thought of in reference to great work, that's a huge honor for me.
@@HEMIGADE thank you for taking us along on this build!👍the work you have done on Hemigade and Junkyard Dave has done on his hellcat wagon are second to none.can't wait to see the finished product.
@cloakedninja5395 I made those a few years ago. I shaped them with foam and bondo, then made fiberglass molds. I plan on making new ones soon though, using CAD and 3D printing them.
@cloakedninja5395 Madness Autoworks sells a set (at least they did at one point). I bought those before I made my own, but I never installed them. Didn't like that they only covered the factory trim, and didn't go to the body lines.
@@cloakedninja5395 they're probably sitting around somewhere between my sheds and garage. I don't think I threw them away. I'll have to take a look and see
@tape90d since I'm using parts from a Charger, a Police Interceptor column shifter would probably be pretty easy to make work. We'll see on the next one 😉
I already have all the supplies to spray it F8 Green. Plum crazy is a nice color, but I love green! I've never painted a car before though, so we'll see lol
Let's see your project! Have you watched this series from the start, man this is just about a ground up perfectionist build. Take your time Mike and make it how you want it, love every video that you do.
yeah man, I really underestimated how much time an effort it takes to completely build a car from the ground up, especially just working on it during my off time. But at lease we're making progress!

Impressed by all you've done so far. Looking forward to the day you get to drive it.
Thanks man, I really appreciate it! This thing is slowly but surely getting there, so hopefully it isn't too much longer
Jeep gang 🤘
“I wanted to keep everything as OEM as possible.”
I’m impressed how you said that with a straight face…. 😉😉
Very close to the first run Mike, congrats! Excelent job.
Thanks! It really has come a long way, and I can't wait for that first fire up either!

Nice addition 👌 love the build 👍
Keeps getting nicer and nicer can’t wait for the next video
Thanks! I'm working on the roll cage / harness bar right now, so I'll be able to check that off the list soon!
Another teaser of a video. Love it. Keep up the killer work.

@@HEMIGADEI’m thinking a turbo diesel for the HHR, thoughts?
@jimpennjr that would be a really fun build, something making decent power and all wheel drive would go crazy.

Everything about this build is especial about the custom parts and everything well made hopefully one day I can do custom work on my 5.7 charger
I’ll always come watch this build is amazing

I've been watching this build since it started and its mind blowing lol
Bro you lost weight. 👍 I’m trying to lose a few myself. Keep it pushing. ❤
Hell yeah man, it's tough work but seeing results and feeling better makes it all worth it. Gotta keep motivated and consistent!

Still haven't hit big but once I do I'll be headed your way
Moving along nicely Mike, will those seats be on sliders or in a fixed position when installed.

Question, where did you get the fender flares?
@cloakedninja5395 I made those a few years ago. I shaped them with foam and bondo, then made fiberglass molds. I plan on making new ones soon though, using CAD and 3D printing them.
@HEMIGADE amazing, I've been looking for wide flares for a renegade for a while can't seem to find any though

is there such thing as column shifter swapping one one these builds?

Does this thing drive? I clicked off months ago, something about steering when I realized this thing didn't move under its own power.
Nope not yet, builds like this take time, especially as just a hobby
I wish I was this guy’s neighbor 😂

What watch are you wearing?
It's from MVMT, but I don't recall the name of it. I've never really been a Watch person, but I'm really liking this one
