I loved this video. I'm a new shrimpkeeper. I have red cherry shrimp in a 29 gallon with a beta. He don't mind them at all. Love your channel and thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

i keep neon tetras and rummynose tetras in my community tank together with Fire Reds. The neons are very peaceful and dont bother the shrimps, but i find that the rummynose tend to be a bit nippy.

Oddball fish you maybe should try the reticulated hillstream loach? That might look nice with the shrimp but idk if it’s compatible or not 👍🏻

Shrimps are bloody hard man.. they are super sensitive to the water parameters and can be expensive..
But, it's true.. they are the most interesting thing to look at in community tanks or as a standalone feature..

if you use rodi it's not that hard. 10-20% wc and fill up slowly it's not that hard

if you use a carpet for example monte carlo the shrimps can't hide in it?? mc will grow dense over time.
hydrocotyle tripartita has too much spaces in-between each leaf and doesn't provide much detail and texture at all, which is important if not essential in a scape.
if you want to see a a very nice 360 tank, check out Dave Chow's tank at Green Aqua.

Lampeye killifish are very peaceful and their mouths are quite small, very unlikely to nip the betta's fins.
