I bet the snowball would look so cool with black gravel in a planted tank! I'm afraid I would want all of them.. and he mentioned that distilled water would be a way to keep consistent water parameters for most of these little fellows?
The owner is very professional introducing his shrimps! This is my first time in life viewing so much variety of shrimps in one time! Thanks for introducing this to us!
Wow that guy was giving some great info about the under-gravel filters with shrimp and why he uses them.... wish stores like this existed in the USA, those shrimp were absolutely AMAZING!!!
I frequent his store often, his knowledge is amazing, yet he is so humble and friendly, surprised that he rmbs me aft a while. All in all, an awesome shop
I am not sure if I understood all the details about the UGF system. English is not my main language, I had a hard time trying to understand some concepts. Could you guys explain me pretty quick why this breeder utilizes this method and what is different from the usual UGF method?
@@aquapucci He's saying that his aquarium doesn't have thick substrate. Thick substrate will have lots of ammonia build up and shrimps will start digging, releasing ammonia into the water.
I really like that you're showcasing Singapore Aquarium shops, the local market shops, fish farm, aquatic plant farms, and more! There really isn't much coverage on the aquatic shops in Singapore on youtube! Keep up with it!! Thank you for making these videos :))
not only that, he lives in singapoure. english not his native language and still provides fluently spoken english. expressiv. even tho iam aswell not mother english speaker i appreciate it
Great video. I wish we had stores like this in the USA. Years ago it was much harder to find shrimp for sale in stores than it is now but still nothing like this exists that I know of. I like the blue ones with the orange eyes.
Man, I just wanted to thank you. Your videos are keeping me sane these past few days. Please stay safe and never stop posting amazeballs videos. Cheers!
I have to admit that so far this was the most appealing vlog you had made. It was highly educational as well as entertaining. The vast amount of species was a sight for sore eyes. If you find another store with an owner willing to share his/her knowledge, please do not miss the chance.
Thank you, yes I’ll definitely make a video if given any chance. Fish store tours, fish room tours, and my own aquarium vlogs are my favorite to make. I want my videos to be entertaining and educational at the same time :)
Well done. I don't even LIKE shrimp.. and I've watched it twice. No crazy questions. No posturing. What you didn't know.. you ASKED about.. and then gave him room to answer/teach.
Good information and so many different kinds I never seen!nanacy and the wine red.. and I love the blue ones.. I don't know, how could you choose?? 😍🤔🤣They are all just amazing!! Thanks for bringing me along! I think I'm ready to try some shrimp they're just the coolest Little critters ever ♥️
It always amazes me when he goes into these stores and the owners' speak English. In America, very few owners are bilingual and I have never met one here that speaks fluent Japanese. I think we take so much for granted. I wish I were at least bilingual.
I just started my cherry tank and this video makes me want to visit the shop! There's not a lot of info regarding shrimp and fish shops of Singapore. Thank you for the content!
Thank you, I loved this! Hoping to get my first shrimp once my tanks have finished cycling. I think I'm getting Red Rili in with the fish, and then today I bought a nano tank so I can also get some Blue Diamond.
Brilliant video. Thankyou for sharing this with us. That shrimp shop is amazing and the guy was very knowledgeable. This has taught me alot about their water parameters thankyou 🙂
Wow. I've been waiting for a video that goes this in depth into shrimps for a long while. Can you find anyone that will go into very high detail on grading caridina shrimp? Thank you for this video and all others you've done.
Ca i ask you about the setting up of a new shrimp tank? I still have NO2 after 8 weeks and I have hair algae. All other water levels are ok nut sometimes the PH spikes to 6.5 gh is 3 tds 130. what would cause the NO2 to increase as I keep food controlled. I would like to have a tank like yours. Do you have any suggestions please?
White socks are the nicest looking, the red and black rilis are nice too. Pity the sulauwei are hard to breed and the neocardinas can't be kept together without interbreeding

Caridina sp. spinata (Sulawesi Yellow Cheek)
I liked the galaxy tiger ones. But they are all pretty. Thank you 👍
We have wine reds too, yes their red is different with pure red line, indeed
the wine reds hands down are the best looking. I think they remind me of the maroon clownfish with the coloration.

Ryo you are the future of the hobby. unlike some of these other young ppl with their click bait builds and stunts. Excellent content.

Beautiful shrimp and set up. We loved this store. I like the blue shrimp, the variegated colored shrimp, and those black with gold eyes were amazing!
Excellent interview. He clearly has a lot of knowledge. Saying which was my favourite shrimp is a hard thing to determine. I liked a lot of them.
Super informative and impressive, thank you both for the tour!
