- Hello fellow Bruno simps! it is i, SleepyBee. sorry for weird editing, its taken alot to get this video up, i wont go into detail. this is my first try at something like this (with many more to come) so i hope you enjoy!

It's also a pretty nice contradiction of "things set in stone", as the future isn't entirely set based on his vision, and like glass it can be broken

Totally agree, I saw the movie because all my friends were talking about Bruno and I was like "ok let's give it a try" and at the end I was like "is that ALL about Bruno???"
I kinda wish they put more mystery around him, it would have been cool if we got even more scenes were you could see him lurking in the background.
I really love the part of the Bruno song when we can see him lurking behind them, it was so ominous when I watched it. Plus the thought of a long lost family member living in the walls is extremely creepy so I wish they painted him as even more of an evil villain only to have the sad reviel. But other than that i love this movie.
I wish alot of the characters had more screen time in general, but with such a big family, what can you do?
It's really sad that Bruno actually never left, but he had to isolate himself from the rest because of the gift he has. I tried to held back my tears when Mira discovers the little makeshift table and his painted plates just behind the family dining hall. Can you imagine the loneliness he must have felt from all those years of isolation, not being able to talk with his mother and sisters...

Absolutely, the whole movie was about the mistreatment of Bruno and Maribel but the reconciliation part just felt too bad for what they actually did to them.
@@vio3366, I agree, there's so much more they could've done to make that reconciliation scene better, like arguing and expressing their long suppressed feelings of betrayal before relaxing and then hugging at least with tears in their eyes out of guilt for the damage they caused and sadness. You know, that kind of emotion! Why wasn't it meant to be, I'll never know!
That's how it is with fortune tellers, those they tell the future for blame them when they get a bad fortune, as if the fortune teller generated the future themselves.
And this is why I don't like the song, "We don't talk about Bruno", because the whole point of the song is people talking shit to Bruno, and we all figured out later on in the movie that is not who he really is and that's really sad

If y'all say that Bruno's vision was actually wrong, it's correct.
Why? Because After Isabela hugged Mirabel near the candle (Matched the vision), they were met with an angry Abuela. And that was when Mirabel and Abuela had a big argument, then the Casita fell, the magic died, Mirabel went missing, Abuela finds her, they talk, and when they make up and hug each other, the yellow butterfly and the grass was shown first (Also matched the vision) . So Bruno's vision DID show the future AND the far future too!
Bruno even said the vision was “all out of order” which is why the butterfly was shown first before Mirabel hugging Isabela

Being hard pressed by lots of people to see their future and expecting to see all happy endings, only to be told something they didn't want to hear does weigh on you. It probably altered his mind and his ability and made it a little off.

The "reality tv" gag is made even funnier by the fact that encanto probably takes place way before TV was even a thing. Bruno probably saw reality TV in one of his visions or something, but Mirabel just thinks he's off his rocker.
The movie is set sometime in the 1950's so TV was definitely a thing

Commercial TV was introduced in 1927. The first telenovela aired in 1951. Encanto takes place in 1950 so even if Encanto know about TVs, they wouldn’t know about telenovelas.
