Lovely to see a video of yours this morning. I also love that your book is handmade and using things you already have. Christmas time is not always the same for everyone...
A video from Essie Ruth and a wonderful idea on how to participate in December Daily in a much more gentle, stories first approach. I'm counting this as one of my first holiday gifts. 🎁 Thank you. Sending many wishes for a wonderful December to you SJ and Artie.
Love this, Essie! While I do like new Christmas and holiday paper products, I can't justify purchasing when I still have so much in my stash. For me, it's more to use stuff I already have.
Yeah, I completely understand. I hope revisiting your stash to look for holiday supplies will be fun though, and you end up enjoying the process of creating with them as much as you hoped you would when they were new ❤️
I just discovered you when you were a guest for Junk Journal July and I was curious to see your other work so I visited your homepage. And this was the first thing I looked at and I love it. Especially love the philosophy of not having to buy all kinds of stuff to make junk journals. That is my style also. I do buy some paper but I am not into digitals. I clean my stuff from magazines books that are being just continued junk mail catalogs wherever I can find it. My friends are always collecting things for me. It's a lot of fun. The hardest part is been to find a systems to store these things but it is coming around for me. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos now that I have subscribed
Haha - I love that you have trained your friends to be collectors for your stash too. Mine are the same. Just last week my bestie popped in to my house while I was having a nap and left some vintage book plates on the coffee table 😆 Storage and organisation is always the hardest part for me too. Keeping things tidy while also having them accessible so you'll *use* them is a constant struggle! Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing, I'm very grateful!
Hellooooooo its Billie, I didn't know you did these vids until recently its so cool! How do you film it so well? From above, not using hands, not shaking, just perfect? Its amazing!
Am I watching this at 7am? Yes I am. Thrilled to see a video from you. Love this journal! Love how you’ve planned to document December. THAT FLORAL WRAPPING PAPER IS SO BEAUTIFUL I COULD CRY. I agree - it becomes so much about the products and each year I buy into the hype and spend money and it never ever feels right. I’m not documenting December at all today which feels kinda scandalous. You’ve made me excited to have my sewing machine out soon 🎉 and excited in general.
I'm so happy to see your work and hear your voice....I'm so inspired by you! Thank you for sharing!
I am very much looking forward to another video showing an example of how you use this journal. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Just absolutely beautiful Essie!! I love it so much!
