Another brilliant video, seen a lot of them, please keep them coming, I’m 74, and my sight is going, having a great time watching you working. Held a track steered licence for years, but they had shooty poles, not so much fun. ( tanks)

Wonderful video as always Chris! Keep up the awesome work! Hey you should do a fan meet and greet and have some fans like sit or try out your machines lol. That would be pretty fun!
Yes watching brush being pushed is so exciting. The best part was at the climax when some brush was pushed. It was like you didn't think it could happen, and then at the last minute he pulled it off. Whew! I was on the edge of my seat.
I always liked a break from the Draglines & Clamshell Cranes To go run a Loader or Dozer but mostly the Tugboats in Lehigh Lake (Miami) pushing Rock Barges between the Lima 2400 Cranes... 👷♂️👍
The first time I pulled a leaf blower out of the truck to burn a pile, the guy we was working on laughed at me! Now he does the same thing to burn his leaves!
Christ all the years I work on heavy equipment i could never play with them. Just fix and out the door. It sure looks like fun too keep your videos come. 🙏🙏🙏
Tim’s trying to get the dirt out of the burn pile, but he needs to drop it on the ground a few times. Chris you may have to show him how! It’s not going to burn very well. Anyhow you can do your best. Cheers!
Great video. While ur down in Florida you should look into going to the flywheelers show. It is one of the bjggest antique farm equipment shows in the country.
Too bad that wasn't a buddy's land. U could leave thst pile. In a year or 3 be awsome topsoil u could sell. But hey gotta do what customers want or pay for. Nice work man. Ur 160 is is such good shape for around 5k hr tractor. I can tell it's been taken care of
Thats the way I started 28 Year's ago. After 6 Years I changed company and came to coast securing at the west coast of Denmark, running a Liebherr 961 excavator. So be pacient get some experiens on machine handling and then go on. Good luck
Just wondered as you seem to get a lot of rubbish. Would it be a good investment to use a wood chipper /mulcher which would reduce the amount of waste and stops smoke pollution. Just a thought. Love the videos.
Seems like a lot of diesel was burned pushing the pile around. Would it have made more $ence to have multiple piles going and move the excavator between them?
Idk if you already said earlier in anther video? But am just curious why is all the stumps in a long line?? Cuz I don't quite remember if you were talking about that if you lift it?? Or what. I wunderd if that's what you were doing! Putting more of the woody materials to the bonfire and the more dirtier stuff gets haul out.. but good work in the dozer for once..lol
If it’s being cleared for farm land why is so much topsoil being taken up with the roots. I know it’s a cleaner job and gets all the small stuff but I’d want as much soil to stay as possible
The soil is a little too wet, it doesn't separate from the roots very well, but they probably just want to be done and out of there, so they are pushing through to get it done.
@@letsdig18 That would be jail time in CA (actually a huge fine, lol). Permit, inspection, wait for approved day, call in before lighting, no diesel, tend fire, water truck, & bulldozer.
12" teeth on rake? fun to run rake I enjoyed it just barely touch ground and go. Start get dirt, lift go over top back drag a little start a little higher on teeth and push, pile and burn. Nothing to it like how rake swing away when back drag so don't totally scatter you pile. your pushing .

Running a dozer occupies part of your mind that can be very peaceful. I started with a big green D7E at 17 years old. I miss those days.
I do love the smell of fresh topsoil and diesel exhaust early in the morning.
Great video!

Good work mate, well done. The owner has got to be happy with that.
Great video. I like the way you're teaching Tim without really doing anything out of the ordinary. Smooth operator. Lol
The dozer is my favorite too. That was dads specialty for 50 plus years.
sheldon bertram same
Caterpillar D8H same
Very nice again Chris, raking and burning 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Chris , you leave a job when you are done and it is so pretty , awesome job , your a good operator
Rolling the vegetation around to shake the dirt and pile it reminds me of painting corners-frustrating! keep up the excellent work!
Like watching the dozer!! Been watching it for 5+ years

Tim seams to be getting the hang of how you work and the pare of you work well together.
Excellent!!!! Hard to grub cut over areas like that, but if the customer is willing to pay he shall receive....
Ever think about setting up a leaf blower and get that fire roaring?
Call the Hacksmith!

Break out the s’mores! 🔥
Chris wants someone to bring the smores while he's working..
Mrs. Elite Earthworks, break out the s’mores!

I love the dozer too. It's great to jump in different machines. It gets too boring operating the same machine all the time.
I am with you Chris I love operating a dozer too.

we use a propane torch along with diesel gas mix to get everything toasty.

..i think Chris could burn ice...lol,, good clean up fires ..
Thanks for the video.
just started my job in an excavator at a recycling facility... boring as all hell i need to get into excavation once winter is over
Thats the way I started 28 Year's ago.
After 6 Years I changed company and came to coast securing at the west coast of Denmark, running a Liebherr 961 excavator.
So be pacient get some experiens on machine handling and then go on.
Good luck
oz1vlh that sounds awesome! i will keep that in mind
All the hours watching this vlog will help , Now you need a sticker for your hard hat and a t-shirt
Use it as time to listen to audio books.
Andrew H i listen to the joe rogan experience
Now that's a big change
Burn Mountains are so entertaining
I love driving dozers also

Great video
When burning try fanning the flames with a leaf blower you will be amazed.
Dan Godbout lol yes🤣🤣🤣
I'd brought a leaf blower and dumped some air into the fire, get the temps up to drive off the damp undergrowth.
looks environmentally friendly.
D9 or 10 would make short work of this... Great video

Really like your dozer videos the best.
Good work
14:30 Was that the dump truck stuck and Tim pulling John out?
I want to know if he was brave enough to adjust the seat this time sense he was running all day?
Chris, what camera are you using here? picture quality looks really good.

I was looking at the garden rake I usually use and now I feel totally outraked.
Just curious, why not dig a pit in the far corner of the property and just bury the green waste?
I love me some fire!!
What’s the cost per acre for the land owner to have you guys do that? I know every job is different but I was just wondering as I have no idea.
Get 2 piles going one on each side of Tim to maybe really get it going?
If it’s being cleared for farm land why is so much topsoil being taken up with the roots. I know it’s a cleaner job and gets all the small stuff but I’d want as much soil to stay as possible
The soil is a little too wet, it doesn't separate from the roots very well, but they probably just want to be done and out of there, so they are pushing through to get it done.
Any way you can do a cab view of the Dozer? I always love seeing the cab view of the excavator so the dozer would be cool especially!
The cab shakes so bad on the inside the camera won't stay in focus
Could you dig a big hole and push off a lot of the brush into it, and cover it after burning?
hemiram2k5 you could but once the brush decomposes you’ll have another hole and if you don’t get back fill it in it’ll be really soft soil
owner did not want to dig any holes as this land will be developed oneday and that will ruin that spot
Too bad you don't have a big trommel to help separate and knock off most of the soil. Something easy to use and operate.
Very good video man like it .
How wide is the rake? Never can tell on video.
when you do a burn, does the town or the fire dept, change you for a burning permit. also do you need to watch the fire as long as it burns
I didn't get a permit and nobody watches it, it's wet it won't get out of control
letsdig18 do you notify the fire dept at least so that some ones doesn’t call in a giant cloud of smoke?
Gen3tx it’s barely burning. Looks like a campfire compared to a burn pile. It’s too wet so it’s not going to burn well.

When are you going back to the pond project
When it dries out.
bit dryer than last job
Watching Tim run the excavator after watching Chris is like watching a slow mo replay. lol
Tim needs practice and you only get better through experience.
@@markfiges999 Just being a smartass, bud.
No one started at the top. Time. Don't be a douche.
That's why I have him on it learning to do thing

Where is the MUD? What is your favorite song? "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes"
Get your gas powered leaf blower.,
Start.
Zip tie throttle.
Open hotdogs.
Enjoy.
Yes they call that a dozer but they really shouldn’t.

If Volvo made a dozer would you sell your Komatsu and buy the volvo
I bet you are happy to be dryer land
For once you dont need a dragline!
looks like a smudge.needs diesel
You need a head mount gopro that would be so cool
Am I the only one that feels the dozer is losing more debris off the side of the blade than it’s pushing?
