you might want to wait much longer before harvesting the burgundy plum. I accidentaly left one on the tree for a long time before I found it , The taste is very sweet , the flesh of the fruit is dark dark burgundy color not reddish. My son tend to pick them too early then the flavor is just like you said not that great.

The rootstock did not have a name the tag only said super dwarf
