- This video show testing of the Protector robot at Fort Benning. The robot is carrying 1,000 pounds of supplies. The robot is less than three feet wide and can climb a 45 degree slope. It was built to support infantry by carrying their gear and clearing a trail. Using internal fuel, the robot can go 60 miles.
Practically still they will need guardian from air/ground support for these logistic. Not just robotic hauler

tracks look like they should be wider. Then less pounds per inch distributed and better mud, sand and soft earth performance.
How long those batteries last? Gotta have a charge while operating type system at least.
I don't think noise is an infantry soldier's friend, it sounds loud to me
Epic! Is there a retail version?
I've tried to contact them twice through email about pricing on their robotic arms. I guess they don't respond to non-military inquiries?
what kind of engine does it use ?
This is kind of a more modern, more expensive version of the little tracked tractor, with motorcycle style steering, the Germans invented in ww2
Kettenkraftrad
where are the guns to return fire ?
Probably just a cargo carrier. I think it might be escorted by an armed variant and/or infantry which it carries the gear for.
Stupid idea, slow means an easy target will be destroyed easily .
Too noisy! Why don't you guys muzzle the noise down?
Might as well use a small, electric hybrid 4x4 or dune buggy instead of that noisy junk
LETICIA LLANETA that would also be waterproof, no?
I wish it carried all my shit at ft benning
Better off putting guys on quads lol cheaper too
