8:57 The reason the Prospector's head fell off is because if they're the last ones in a level and they're walking away from the lawn, they can't eat the brains so the game doesn't waste your time on them as you've already succeeded. This also happens with other zombies that can't such as stationary ones besides the Imp Cannon because you still have the deal with the Imps after it explodes.
Tip: a cheesy strategy is to put celery stalker 2 spaces in front of a walnut, put spikeweed 1 space in front of celery and put a heavy damage dealer in the back

Tip: Sap-fling and Snow Pea are extremely useful supporter, they can slow down zombies, reducing their eating DPS and give you more time to gain more sun.
17:17 the reason you hear a piano is because of the way the underdancer mechanic works, Wild West did not have an ambush mechanic so Goodpea2 added the underdancers, a piano is spawned off screen causing the zombies to dance, the underdancer piano has a special attribute that makes it die when it should kill you.
Here's a tip Matt- If there is a minecart which can go to all the columns, always put a heavy damage plant like the melon pult. Also, in the later levels, there will be a chicken wrangler zombie, which is basically the weasel zombie but releases chickens! To deal with these put tall nut, and infront of that put spikeweed. Btw love your videos! EDIT: lightning reed is also fantastic for dealing with chickens and weasels

I don’t know if these exist in this version but if it does you should check out the mints they are very broken in a good way, some cover the whole map in fire, some freeze all the zombies and some spawn a row of Spike rocks and all the mints cost 0 sun but have a long cool down, if they are in the game only use them for levels that are actually difficult that way you just can’t win everything easily

Just as a tip: Do NOT spend your Mints on Mini Plant Seed Packets, I've tried it like 10 times already and none of them gave me any Mini plants, their chances are way too low.
firstly, if youre playing eclise, mention that you're playing eclise, not regular pvz2, to avoid misinformating people. secondly, if you earn a plant, there is 95% chance that it will be useful in the next one/two levels (except for cactus, cactus straight up sucks). thridly, you can watch secret levels on youtube and copy their strategies if you're struggling with the levels. some secret levels grant you very useful instants. fourthly, try to analyze levels: if there is a zombie spam - choose a plant that has piercing for you loadout, if there are strong zombies, but the zombie density is low, use expensive an single attacker and a lot of instants to stall. sometimes you need more than one sun producer to produce sun if you have a slow early game, sometimes you can use a tier III sunflower if you need to save sun in the early game. fifthly: read the almanach more, it of course can tell you about plants' and zombies' weaknesses, but you can also deduce the optimal position for the plant on the lawn. one of the next levels will require you to kill a zombie on a specific tile, fume-shrooms will be useful there as they have a 4-tile attacking range. also, for reference, the regular zombie has 190 hp, coneheads have 560, bucketheads have 1290, you can base your strategies off of that.
