Having never played PvZ Expanded, that seemed like the most obvious thing ever, and when he said "wait, I have an idea" I really thought his plan was gonna be to bring Umbrella Leaf, but nope, it was to bring Imitated Sunflower. It really is just a competition between Zack Scott and Matt Shea to see who's the dumbest PvZ player.
Tip : You can use leaf umbrella to cabbage-pult zombies so they don’t damage your sunflowers, you can also use gloom shroom or chompers (if you want to) to garlic zombies, and use squash and potato mine for early-game.

I'm not sure if you know this already but in Pvz 2 (im putting this comment here because its a newer video and idk if you would see it otherwise) you can repeat levels you already have beaten up to three times a day and get Pinatas from that world (one Pinata per level) its the way to level up plants besides getting the story quest Pinatas and spending money
this mod is really fun please continue it this mod also has a 6th 7th and 8th world btw you for zombotony 4 use umbrella leave as it now blocks lobbing plants aswell ice shroom and doom shroom is neccesary in this level doom shroom is expensive but its neccesary also try to plant atleast 2 rows of sunflowers just starfruit with snowpea or gloom shroom with snow pea and pumpkin
so matt in case you dont know the cherry bombs cant take any damage but can be stunned with a butter zombie so it works better then the nut because once its un buttered it just blows up

Matt, if you don't know then Coffee Bean can boost the speed of a plant that is consumed by it. Take it to your advantage so you can mass produce sun by placing Coffee Bean on a Twin Sunflowers or massive damage spam by placing Coffee Bean on a Starfruit. Use Umbrella Leaf and more plants for the early game like Potato Mine or Squash.
You can just use the fume shroom evolution with coffee bean in the middle lane and use 3 garlics like with the threepeater start. It has insane damage.
I remember when I was in fogo to meet Matt for the first time and we were racing to see who could get to China first in pvz (he beat me) and he said '' GET GOOD SCRUB!'' and I am honored

I’ve also started playing this mod on PC, I am having so much fun with it, especially combining it with PvZ tool kit with lots of hypno shrooms to use on the new zombotany zombies in the mod
I actually figured out the garlic strategy on my own and it made zombatany 2 a piece of cake. I'm thinking that since umbrella leaf zombie can reflect catapults, umbrella leaf maybe could also reflect the enemy catapults

Matt, there are several mods for pvz such as Pvz Journey to The West, Pvz Left 4 Dead, Pvz Brutal mod etc. At the end, you should give them all a try.
