Flyleaf was a beam of light in my life from age 12-16 during very very dark times of starving myself drugs and self harm. Now at 24 years old Flyleaf still brings me towards the light. I'm not religious by any means but Flyleaf makes me want to raise my hands into the air and praise God
I listened to this song during a trip on psylocybin mushrooms....take that as you will, but I imagined her as a Goddess talking to my soul directly from the heavens. I'd never felt anything more intensely. Thank you Lacey for reminding me that my wounds will heal. 🙏
My heart goes out to all those who recently passed in Kentucky and Tenessee and them down South... I can't get over how they were done dirty like that, but I know God has a plan for them better than this world could offer... still, really, unbelievably sad...
