- Running the Redcat Kaiju on 4S for the first time. Tons of power still on 4S. At the time of the filming of this video we were still waiting for the parts from Redcat. We have since received the parts.
Strongly believe Redcat has a hit on their hands.

I did a few upgrades.
Installed steel spur.
Installed 10 mm wheel extenders.
Moved bottom of shocks to outer most hole.
Locktite the pinion grub screw.
Installed metal servo arm.
Installed 40mm yeah racing fan on esc.
Installed yeah racing dual fan on motor.
Installed hot racing 17mm wheel caps.
It's a Beast !!. Only running 4s. One of my favorite rc's . My ultimate favorite is my Arrma Notorious !! My xmaxx 8s is collecting dust !!
@Donald Barron Those are some sweet upgrades. Redcat has a winner with this one.
If you adjust the Shocks to the outer most adjustment it handles awesome 👍👍. Way less roll over. I would also say metal servo arm would be a necessity. Waiting for mine. Nice video.🤙

I've only ran mine on 4s and that seems to be it's best from videos I've seen.

They have the sway bar now for the kaiju.

6s 50c and yes insane describes it perfectly hahaha
Ok I have tested it on 6s and 4s. I think 6s is to much . 4s is the sweet spot. I also lowered the bottom of the shocks to the outer most hole. Helped out a lot. This truck is a beast !!
@Donald Barron Sounds like the things I've done to this beast. 4s is home. Lower those shocks really helped out the rollovers. I also added a fan to the motor but I did not see any heat issues at 4s more at 6s.

Pilgrims state right in beginning off the sagitos ,there was cement waste land looks great for crawling , I've been looking for spot to crawl but it also has huge open field with big hill

@R.C NEWHAMPSHIRE Completely unexpected. I was looking for this lame duck on 4S. Only thing I lost was standing backflips. Big hit for Redcat.
Have you had any problems with the plastic spur ? I think if you run it on 4s all should be ok.
@Donald Barron No issues with the plastic spur. You're right, it's because I run it on 4s. 6s you start breaking things on this rig, no front bumper😂
Audio is still the same man.. some issues
@Smithesh N Crazy?! I don't know what to say man. I play it back on YT and no issues. I still feel YT is degrading the videos even more than before. I've noticed a few other channels where the 1080p is not has sharp as before.

Great bash with Kaiju Bro. Seems like a very capable truck from Redcat. Been thinking about picking it up. Seems setup very well too. Love the tires. I actually picked up a set and mounted them on my Tekno MT410. Balloons a bit but venting helps.

Yup. Even on 4s, the Kaiju is a monster. After a fun runs of abuse, broken parts : motor mount, front bumper support, front c hub and steering block, bolt on wheelie bar, front differential drive cup and that's about it. Oh yeah, I have a wobbly front tire. I believe it's the 17mm wheel hex. It's expected after many bad landings on the roof, tumbles for days, etc. That's why I have two 😂. Oh yeah, the body had developed some nasty cracks towards the front, so I'm also going to gorilla tape the crap out of the inside. Yeah the body is pretty weak.

@@ReadySetRC I didn't break everything in one day though. It was several. Motor mount? Sorry, that was a typo. I also had a head on collision with my X-Maxx 8s. I was driving my xmaxx and my son the Kaiju. The Kaiju suffered with a broken steering linkage, upper control arm, c hub and steering block. Yup. It was bad but easy to replace. The other c hub and steering block were broken during a different bash session on the other side 🤣.

Granted, a bunch of new holes had 2 b made, but I intentionally flipped it a bunch on 6s. NO damage to my body. It seems 2 b a really hard plastic.
Too, I remember it being for the 4s/6s 8th scale something.
Are those that badlands? Or rippoffs cuase they look a bit different than the normal mx ones

@Hexagon RC They are the stock wheels and tires. I guess replicas to the MX's but when you see and feel them in person not much the same. The lugs look close but they are taller and more spread apart on the Kaiju tires.
