NO we are not. i work at walmart and they don't give a shit about security. i work at the deli and when covid hit hard i was assigned as a door attendant. not they told me if anything was not in the bag you had to stop them and read the recipt. one customer refused to hand me the receipt and got the manager. they let the customer go and the manager told me to let them go if they don't want me to have the receipt. I could have rotten luck and happened to work at the store with incompetant managers (would not surprise me).

I travel the country a lot and love Wal Mart. There are almost no price differences at all. I was in Mississippi last winter and even their prices were the same as everywhere else. Food, ammo, kayaks, shirts, you name it. Milk is always different depending on the state. Other than that there isn't any difference.
Actually regional prices & even price differences just across town can be huge. I've gone to my other walmart to see if they had the other apparel colors I wanted & there was nothing left, they were already clearanced out. Walmart store managers & dept managers do have some wiggle room to do what they feel they need to, especially to move seasonal in or out.

I'm 30years old I Used to Work on Walmart and with full Honesty Yes there's more than 6+ Undercover Cops Including a Camara Room and Interogation Room. While having only around 2 o 3 cashier's with a low Income while making nearly 100k a day It's sad to say but they pay more to This undercover clown and most of them just walk around eats & talk... All the Big Ones Benefit to Force employees work Full Time while their contract is Part time to avoid Giving them Full Benefits & pay vacation without making them wait 2 or 3 years to get it. And the Favouritism is insane I end up Resigning in 4 month and a Half I was in Produce and It makes me sick to see Old Folks over 10years + in walmart Seniors of their 60+ still working their @$$$ off while a 19 year old & 21 year old walks around as a Supervisor getting paid more than those Seniors and all they do is talk in their phones or with their buddies Eat rest in the Rest area Keep walking and talking and if they have it against a New guy they will basically stalked him in a way that if they see the Kid Talking with a fellow employee they come to rush him and make him feel like hes not allowed to talk. Even a Supervisor did that once to me When a Fellow rookie employee came to me to ask me about some product in Produce and the "Sup" came from nowhere to tell me to less talk more work I said Apply that yourself. He look at me mad they didn't do crap to me but I couldn't stand their stupidity I ask for a transfer and since I'm in contract as a Part Time I have to wait from 2 to 3 years to be able to tranfer I ask them since I'm a part Time in Contract follow the cantract to the letter then and Give me part Time hours or Change my contract to Full Time otherwise I wont come to work Full Time. They acted like they where going to Change my Contract to Full Time ask my Usual Info etc. They did Nothing So I took My over time Hours that I work took like around 4 Days of of "Emergency / and Sickness" paid and after that I came only to work 1 day to next day arrived as a surprise to the Office with my resignation. The lady was mad she told me I should wait and give my heads up when I'm leaving from 1 to 2 weeks before leaving I said Sorry It doesn't work like that You. Guys don't fire Employees and Give them 1 or 2 weeks until they find another job. You guys just fired them in the spot. That 1 to 2 weeks is only scheme benefit for the company not for the ex employees. If you paid real attention to the Associates U see how soulless they seem and U see how Supervisors and Managers just order around while some doing Nothing and others very little.. I can't stand Big. companies.

I’ve been followed by LP in Walmart before && actually stopped by 2 at the front door because I used the hand scanner at self checkout & scanned everything in my cart then bagged the items after everything in the basket was scanned and I used the reusable cloth bags. So they stopped me at the door demanding my reciept, said they followed me thru the store and couldn’t understand why I would buy dish soap and things like that when I “ look so young” ... I’m 27 years old! And I was pissed when they took me into the room after they stopped me at the door and when they went thru everything in my bags and matched it up to the reciept and all they had to say was “ ma’am I’m sorry we thought we seen you not scan most of yur items in the cart”. ... but one of the 2 Walmart’s by my house have 2 LP officers that work there & that’s it.
I was an LPO for WalMart for three years, and at Target for two so far. While at Wally, we never had more than two on shift unless it was a holiday, then we'd have everyone on during the day. This dude seems to have pointed out several in under ten minutes, so either HE is the LPO on duty or is just a paranoid "ex" criminal.
PSA from a former loss prevention worker: there are never this many under cover LP employees working in a store. I’ve worked for many of the big-box stores as LP/AP. Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Home Depot....the absolute MAX I have seen is 3, and that was during the holiday season. At any given time, there may be zero, one, or two at the most. I’ve worked shifts where there were only two or three LP employees working period, and someone still has to watch the cameras. This just isn’t realistic. Also, I’ve never once seen an LP employee at any of the stores I worked at actually going through line, buying, and then returning things. There’s no reason for them to. If they get “busted,” they go about their day and check in on someone else. There’s zero need for them to pretend to be anything, because the most you’ll ever bust them doing is their jobs.
It's two on the floor and one in the office at my local Walmart. And it's easy to see who is who. Just watch for the same guys marching perps in cuffs into that LP office. It's behind the pharmacy right by an exit. Same guys all the time. Unshaven, in sweats, looking so casual, they are out of place even in a Walmart, but the badge on a necklace comes out when they bust someone. The store also has off duty police at the main exits but all they do is stand there. Any arrests have to be called in to 911 to have an officer sent to the store.

I saw a guy recently @ Walmart that walked around for over an hour that bought nothing while me & my wife was christmas shopping for our kids! He was at just about every aisle that we were at like he was following us? Walmart almost NEVER has more than one LP officer on the floor at any time... look at the economics of it 99 % of the shoplifters do not get caught... if you have 5 LP officers on the floor you are paying them a total of about $60.00 plus benefits an hour to walk around the store... if they are not catching more than $200 an hour of ship lifting the company is losing money on the process.
I swear some guy was following me and my mom, using a walker, all throughout the store. She enjoyed walking around, would sit periodically taking breaks. He watched us stopping inside the Burger King, we were taking a walking break. He was literally everywhere we were. I knew he was cause he was dressed nicer than any other person in the store. My mom enjoyed walking around, she took her time cause she used a walker, had open heart surgery several years prior, had metal rod along her femur bone from a fall years ago.... we took our time, went slowly, i did have a shopping cart...so i seriously don't know why he literally followed us everywhere.

This is the second time I've seen this video, but 4 years later. First time I watched this video I had went out and tested your method. It worked out great and I was able to pinpoint all of the undercover shoppers in my local Walmarts. I went every day for a month and noticed that some of the "shoppers" started looking familiar and they'd always frequent the same areas every day.

NO we are not. i work at walmart and they don't give a shit about security. i work at the deli and when covid hit hard i was assigned as a door attendant. not they told me if anything was not in the bag you had to stop them and read the recipt. one customer refused to hand me the receipt and got the manager. they let the customer go and the manager told me to let them go if they don't want me to have the receipt. I could have rotten luck and happened to work at the store with incompetant managers (would not surprise me).

I was in Mississippi last winter and even their prices were the same as everywhere else.
Food, ammo, kayaks, shirts, you name it.

Actually regional prices & even price differences just across town can be huge. I've gone to my other walmart to see if they had the other apparel colors I wanted & there was nothing left, they were already clearanced out. I'm 30years old I Used to Work on Walmart and with full Honesty Yes there's more than 6+ Undercover Cops Including a Camara Room and Interogation Room. While having only around 2 o 3 cashier's with a low Income while making nearly 100k a day It's sad to say but they pay more to This undercover clown and most of them just walk around eats & talk... All the Big Ones Benefit to Force employees work Full Time while their contract is Part time to avoid Giving them Full Benefits & pay vacation without making them wait 2 or 3 years to get it. And the Favouritism is insane I end up Resigning in 4 month and a Half I was in Produce and It makes me sick to see Old Folks over 10years + in walmart Seniors of their 60+ still working their @$$$ off while a 19 year old & 21 year old walks around as a Supervisor getting paid more than those Seniors and all they do is talk in their phones or with their buddies Eat rest in the Rest area Keep walking and talking and if they have it against a New guy they will basically stalked him in a way that if they see the Kid Talking with a fellow employee they come to rush him and make him feel like hes not allowed to talk. Even a Supervisor did that once to me When a Fellow rookie employee came to me to ask me about some product in Produce and the "Sup" came from nowhere to tell me to less talk more work I said Apply that yourself. He look at me mad they didn't do crap to me but I couldn't stand their stupidity I ask for a transfer and since I'm in contract as a Part Time I have to wait from 2 to 3 years to be able to tranfer I ask them since I'm a part Time in Contract follow the cantract to the letter then and Give me part Time hours or Change my contract to Full Time otherwise I wont come to work Full Time. They acted like they where going to Change my Contract to Full Time ask my Usual Info etc. They did Nothing So I took My over time Hours that I work took like around 4 Days of of "Emergency / and Sickness" paid and after that I came only to work 1 day to next day arrived as a surprise to the Office with my resignation. The lady was mad she told me I should wait and give my heads up when I'm leaving from 1 to 2 weeks before leaving I said Sorry It doesn't work like that You. Guys don't fire Employees and Give them 1 or 2 weeks until they find another job. You guys just fired them in the spot. That 1 to 2 weeks is only scheme benefit for the company not for the ex employees. If you paid real attention to the Associates U see how soulless they seem and U see how Supervisors and Managers just order around while some doing Nothing and others very little.. I can't stand Big. companies.

I’ve been followed by LP in Walmart before && actually stopped by 2 at the front door because I used the hand scanner at self checkout & scanned everything in my cart then bagged the items after everything in the basket was scanned and I used the reusable cloth bags. So they stopped me at the door demanding my reciept, said they followed me thru the store and couldn’t understand why I would buy dish soap and things like that when I “ look so young” ... I’m 27 years old! And I was pissed when they took me into the room after they stopped me at the door and when they went thru everything in my bags and matched it up to the reciept and all they had to say was “ ma’am I’m sorry we thought we seen you not scan most of yur items in the cart”. ... but one of the 2 Walmart’s by my house have 2 LP officers that work there & that’s it.

While at Wally, we never had more than two on shift unless it was a holiday, then we'd have everyone on during the day.

PSA from a former loss prevention worker: there are never this many under cover LP employees working in a store. I’ve worked for many of the big-box stores as LP/AP. Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Home Depot....the absolute MAX I have seen is 3, and that was during the holiday season. At any given time, there may be zero, one, or two at the most. I’ve worked shifts where there were only two or three LP employees working period, and someone still has to watch the cameras. This just isn’t realistic. Also, I’ve never once seen an LP employee at any of the stores I worked at actually going through line, buying, and then returning things. There’s no reason for them to. If they get “busted,” they go about their day and check in on someone else. There’s zero need for them to pretend to be anything, because the most you’ll ever bust them doing is their jobs.
It's two on the floor and one in the office at my local Walmart. And it's easy to see who is who. Just watch for the same guys marching perps in cuffs into that LP office. It's behind the pharmacy right by an exit. Same guys all the time. Unshaven, in sweats, looking so casual, they are out of place even in a Walmart, but the badge on a necklace comes out when they bust someone. The store also has off duty police at the main exits but all they do is stand there. Any arrests have to be called in to 911 to have an officer sent to the store.

I worked Loss Prevention for Wal-Mart as supplementary pay for my other job as a police officer. I can’t stand WM, but can assure you that each store (even in bigger cities) employs 1 full-time LP associate. Sometimes you’re lucky to have 2. I saw a guy recently @ Walmart that walked around for over an hour that bought nothing while me & my wife was christmas shopping for our kids! He really stood out to us while wearing a cowboy hat, cowboy shirt, skinny pants with a big ole belt buckle, and ugly ass cowboys boots! He really gave away that he was security! He was at just about every aisle that we were at like he was following us? Walmart almost NEVER has more than one LP officer on the floor at any time... look at the economics of it 99 % of the shoplifters do not get caught... if you have 5 LP officers on the floor you are paying them a total of about $60.00 plus benefits an hour to walk around the store... if they are not catching more than $200 an hour of ship lifting the company is losing money on the process.
Scott Cairns around here most have 5-10 on the floor depending on time of day. It’s worth it to avoid theft for them.

Our local meijer which is basically the same thing but not national has 6 people at one location and 3 of them normally work in a security room with 1 maybe 2 on the floor at a time.

This is the second time I've seen this video, but 4 years later.
First time I watched this video I had went out and tested your method. It worked out great and I was able to pinpoint all of the undercover shoppers in my local Walmarts.
I went every day for a month and noticed that some of the "shoppers" started looking familiar and they'd always frequent the same areas every day.
Why would you go to Walmart everyday for a month just to watch for loss prevention employees?
