Dude, PLEASE keep making videos. You are by far my favorite watch build channel. Not only because of your personality, but you also say exactly what you’re doing, What tools you’re using and how you’ve made mistakes. 10/10 content, man.
36mm watches are so under rated, they feel so good on your wrist, dial size is the same. There is a lot to be said about smaller watches. Great build, I would even wear that :D
I don’t wear anything over 38. I’m a seiko fan boy and there’s no shortage of small cases. My daily is the champagne dial SNXS81. It’s so close to a day date.
I would just like to say a huge thanks to you and this Channel. Without these videos, I wouldn’t have turned my tired old seiko, into a priceless masterpiece. Well, in mind anyway! To anyone else it’s just another watch but now when I look at it, it just makes me smile. Used your Namoki discount code for your kick back so thanks for that too. Now I want to do full build and keep this and my collection going. I doff my cap to you sir. More content if you please.
I recently did a similar thing with a silver and gold old Seiko 5 (7S36 02J0) that I bought back in 2011. The original case and strap were very beat up and the 7S36 movement was gaining 5 minutes per day. I put the dial on a new NH36 that had its day and date wheels upgraded with luminous ones. The hands are a snowflake style that really works well for the dial. I put it all in a gold SKX style case with a luminous blue bezel. It really suits the silver and gold dial nicely.
Tis a lovely combination of parts, looks really nice. The jewel on dial being different to the movement would be my only OCD issue, but a beautiful watch none the less. I love the dial day/date having the silver surround a lot as well. The case and jubilee looks incredible quality as well.
Great build Dan. It inspired me to revive my 40 year old Seiko 7025-8005 I got as teenager from my father. With a new NH35 on the vintage dial and mod bits it now looks like an Oysterdate and is now my new daily wear. Thanks !
Looks great! I recently got my grandfather's 80's Seiko SKXQ49 that's missing the end link. Debating on finding that end link and restoring or doing like you did and use the dial in a mod.
Super cool watch, on point explanations and camera work, bunch of info regarding the case thickness as a final product and the stem length would be of great help, thanks!
I did a similar build a few months ago. All polished case with a satin white dial . I'm struggling to find a suitable bracelet so I'm going to bright finish polish a satin Daytona bracelet and clasp to see how it works out . Also I'm planning to change out the hands for a set with c3 lume as I like long lasting lume .
Another amazing build. Your videos gave me the push to buy all the parts to build my own MM200 cased planet ocean style watch. Having built it, I now have an even higher level of respect for how good the watches you build are. Love the videos, and again amazing watch!
The SNK621 dial is beautiful, but I wanted to use a dial that said "Seiko Automatic" for this build, rather than a "Seiko 5" dial. I'd also might have had issues getting a suitable day disk for the SNK621 dial on an NH36, but I'm not familiar enough with it to know for certain.
I'm not sure how good my mat is for watch making since it's just a silicone soldering mat. If you search "soldering mat" on eBay you'll find many similar ones.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MaMaCoo 's watches are the most intriguing.
@@ComiCross I had a video on another channel of my impression of Robotnik from over a decade ago. He saw that and contacted me and asked me if I could do it.
next time do this nip a little piece of soldering tin and put in the hole of the crown than screw the stam in tip from my master watchmaker old trick we use

Probably my favouritest build of yours as of now. The stripped dial is so nice

Wow, what a beauty! Aesthetically it is superior to the actual Datejust. Case finish is excellent, the dial is stunning.
Your the best youtuber seiko modeler who i really enjoys his videos
I always keep waiting for the new ones
I wish you could make more uploads
Glad to have you back! Long time no see. 😁🤙

I love ur builds and keep waiting for ur videos
Love your enthusiasm man! Makes it fun!
What an amazing outcome for a beautiful watch. Always a pleasure to see MaMaCoo work your magic. Thanks for sharing this transformation with us!
You have very good content. Your watch builds have turned out fantastic. Keep up the good work! 😁👍

Black leather strap will be perfect match. Or a olive suede.
Beutiful build
Show us ur collection please
That is Fing sharp.

I want to do these with an SNXS dial.

Love the videos Dan, thought it was just me who thinks a simple build will take a couple of hours and ends up 3 frigging days! 😂😂😂
hahaha this is a “sleeper” in watch form lol. The dial advertises 17 jewels but in reality the NH series is 24-25 jewels🤣
No catastrophic errors... Youre getting too good, the outakes will be missed
Awesome build.. but u missed the opportunity with the snk621 dial.. seiko modders swear by it

Very nice
Genuinely not a fan fluted bezels. Don't even really like em on the Datejust... but this, damn you turned me into a believer.
Hello , Any. Chance you can tell me where you bought the blue mat?
Thanks in advance
I'm not sure how good my mat is for watch making since it's just a silicone soldering mat. If you search "soldering mat" on eBay you'll find many similar ones.
Nice build the finished watch looks great the Datejust is my favourite watch style....BUT I can't abide dial dots, sorry.
Isn't it actually a Day Date ?
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MaMaCoo 's watches are the most intriguing.
Love from the States and do you do custom orders
Were you really the guy who voiced Eggman in the Something About videos? You did a good job lol I never would have guessed.
Terminal Montage's videos? Yeah that was me. Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate it.
@@ItsAnotherWatch if you don’t mind me asking, how did you get to voice him? Were there auditions or something?
@@ComiCross I had a video on another channel of my impression of Robotnik from over a decade ago. He saw that and contacted me and asked me if I could do it.
is this for sale?
It's not, sorry.
I personally wouldn't have gone with a fluted bezel. I just don't like how they look. I like smooth bezels like the SARB model.
Ever since I bought a watch from amzwatch , My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?
I have to say that #amzwatch 's watches is amazing!
next time do this nip a little piece of soldering tin and put in the hole of the crown than screw the stam in tip from my master watchmaker old trick we use
Dial is a waste in a buld like this, looks like every other fake Rolex "Seiko mod" imo.
You're welcome to your opinion but I think it looks awesome.
