Dr, I had a CT scan done a month ago on my lungs, they used the dye, how much msv would i have been exposed to? Im abit anxious, the dr refered me to get it done because i quit smoking after 17 years and told him im worried if I have lung cancer, the scan came out all clear, what are the chances I can develop cancer now that i did the scan? I am 30 years old

Sir meri age 29 hai aur august me ct scan abdomen pelvis without and with contrast , IV , enema hua tha doctor k bolne pe. Result normal aaye the lekin ab mujhe dar hai k radiation k wajah se mujhe cancer hoga....please bato sir.....

Sir I want to avoid Contrast Agent in my CT Scan test. I Have stomach related issue for which Doctor suggested me to go for CT Enterography. I also have previous history of renal problem and multiple Kidney stones. Do you suggest I should go with NCCT instead of Contrast Enhanced CT ? How much is the difference in overall diagnosis. I also have previous allergy and renal issue that's why I want to avoid getting IV contrast. What do you think ?
hello, you should avoid iv/oral contrast CT scan in presence of your renal/allergy issue. NCCT does not serve the purpose, instead as far diagnosis concern. ask your doctor if there is any other investigation to diagnose your condition.

radiation to ho gaya he, lekin risk bahot kam hota he. aur agar hota he to 10-25 saal ke baad hota he. take care. don't worry.

I mistakekly enter ct scan room with patient ( my mother) and worker didn't tell me to go out side and started CT scan.. It was CECT whole abdomen test..and I stayed side by CT scan mechine during ct scan...
Now I am in tension how much radiation effected me ...same or less than patient and how much...and how much risk....
less than your mom, I would say. risk is very low.

Sir ct scan wale room k just bahar waiting room pe ph use kar raha tha toh gurd ne bola ph off karne ko kyuki andar machine chal raha hai ..toh sir tab call pe tha toh kya phone change kar lena hoga ..ct scan wale machine se phone damage hota hai ya harmful ho jata hai kya sir ?

do not do it again before proper reasoning behind it again. chances are very less. use other alternative modality now on wards if possible. thanks

CT technician exposed to more radiation during his work than normal people. wearing shield and other protective measure help in reduction of radiation exposure.

Sir mera beta hai 11 sal ka 2022 me head ct huaa tha exsese pain ki wajah se maigran huaa tha and 2023 me sar me chot lagne se dobara ct scan huaa tha kul do bar huaa hai wo bhi jarurt padne par koi problem to nhi hoga
