Excellent video impeccably breaking down the attractiveness of a cinelifter in such a concise amount of time!! Easy sub right here, hope to see more from you man!
Stephen Loewinsohn brill! Looking forward to it! Was going to build a long range 7" gopro based one but then spotted the cinelifters fb page and was blown away. The fact that I didn't have to spent £10k+ to get an inspire2 to get cinema quality was totally alien to me.
@@SaiKelly Yeah, this whole cinelifter concept is such a game changer. A 7" long-range GoPro quad is really fun to have as well. I build an AirbladeUAV FR7 a while back, and I love it. Great for ocean cruising like the clip at 0:51. Maybe I'll do a video about that one down the road...
Bro! I am excited to watch this series of videos. You sound like you have a lot of good information to share! I am looking to venture into this type of flying/filming and I need to capture as much information as I can! This shouldn't be free, but thanks!
Thank you! Your recent Komodo/Insider video was gorgeous. I just realized we used the same song tho. Embarassing! LOL! But what are you gonna do, there aren't THAT many good track on Artlist.io, unfortunately ;) I really wish you could replace a video file on UA-cam, like you can on Vimeo. Oh well.
Awesome video, and I was wondering why there was such a lack of mirrorless/DSLR/etc-carrying drones until I realized that they were called Cinelifters. I'm currently working on a 15" quad that'll carry my low-mid end mirrorless/point-n-shoot and I guess technically I should've gone with a 7" x8 but hey it's all just a fun hobby to me -and I also get bragging rights for being the pilot of a 15"-
great channel man I'm also a DP and been flying FPV for about 3 years now and like you always wanted to get my real cameras in the air lol looking forward to more content awesome stuff you have here
Sorry about that! I've been busy with client work, and I haven't had as much time as I'd like to make more UA-cam content, but I gotta pay the bills. Have you seen this cinelifter build video that Nurk made: ua-cam.com/video/o-MFjadiJ20/v-deo.html
Most "cinelifter" footage looks noticeably worse than GoPro footage despite the clear camera benefits. Real cine drones use two operators, one to fly, one to compose & pull focus. Most FPV "cinelifter" pilots just lock their cameras focus to infinity, completely ruining all their footage. Proximity and speed are constantly changing by large margins on drones which highly effects focus. If you start 200 feet in the air and dive to 2 feet off the ground what is infinity focus doing for you? We need either second operators to pull focus or a camera system with good enough autofocus like a Canon or Sony cine camera has. I know its hard to admit but all your guys komodo/zcam/bgh1 stuff looks like garbage (even free from YT compression). Love too see what the future has in store for these style of drones though. The Siccario looks like a really interesting platform.
That drone looks like a beast with that camera on it!

just found this - awesome series! keep up the good work
My man, you have to post more. Simply magical.
YES! Same journey bro, only just found Cinelifters existed recently, subscribed. Number 40!
Sweet! Welcome aboard! I'm already working on the next video which is all about cinema cameras. Should be up next week!

Is it any sense to use fujifilm xs10 camera on cinelifter? What about stab ?
Can you make a tutorial about how to afford one? :P
Lol! Yeah, next video will be on how to sell your own organs for profit! 🤣
I'm still waiting for the video where you show how to build a Cinelifter!:(

with a wide anlge camera you can have everything in focus beyond 2 feet away...
