Can't take you enough, Rick. I'm broken down on the side of the road in Oakland California. There's little money and no one to call. You my friend have just saved my ass
Thank you for the information. Not too many videos are in response to the heater hose leak as opposed to the reservoir or y-pipe leak. I cut the factory heater hose a few inches away from the factory connector. I used the recommended Dorman 5/8 180 Heater Hose Connector(800-404), clamped to PCV Assembly(46025), clamped to double-sided Dorman 5/8 180 degree connector(47095), and finally clamped to the original heater hose. Worked like a charm!
Hey Juan, you are the man! went to O'Reilly's and picked up parts from the part numbers listed. Saved me a lot of time and $'s. From around the Mississippi Delta
$400 factory replacment? You can get the heater core inlet hose (MOTORCRAFT KH570) for $65 at rock auto or about $100 from other distributors. With all the parts you bought you probably spent more and created more fail points
do your homework before you make comments that will show you as a douche. The $400 listed is a direct quote from Ford and the parts used to complete the repair were less than $50. If there is a future fail repairing it will cost much less and be able to be completed much easier since this repair used hose clamps rather than speed connectors that save the factory time during construction.

Good video except that’s a 5.0 Coyote engine and not a 5.4 as stated in the video. Ford did not put 5.4’s in 2013 trucks.
This was an awesome fix, worked beautifully. Thank you for the video. Built all the parts you suggested, save me quite a bit of money
This was a huge help for me today. I had the exact same problem. Thank you for posting this excellent video. You saved the day!!!

Its 5.0 not 5.4 2010 was last year they used those 5.4s
