My Brother in Foam! How did I just find your channel?! This is a great alternative for people who don't want to mess with Li-Pos and offers performance that is safe for all ages of play.
@@botsnblasters you're right, I should have reached out, I guess when I started the channel I didn't want to assume anyone would be into such niche content. I'll say hi next time I see you on Get off My Lawn!
Hey man, I just wanted a mod to get rid of the huge batteries. Everything else is a bonus including being able to use rechargeable double A batteries. This video was super easy to follow and you have won my sub. I hope to see more videos from you in the future as I start my journey into this hobby. This is the way!
Great Timing FoaMando ! As I just thrifted one of these, I wonder what I would need to do to get it to hit just a bit harder, like the 90s. Foam Is the Way.
Can i just buy AA to D shells? And add AAs to stock hyperfire? Which batteries should i use for this? Will it break the hyperfire? Just thought it would be easier and cheap
Just swapping the D's down to AAs will save you some money but this mod guide shows you how to add an extra 2 AAs to up the voltage to 9v. That's where the boost comes from
@FoaMandoCanada can't I just use better batteries? That have higher voltage 3.7v AAs and use 4 one for each D battery I just bought a hyperfire and feel like I already want more power I've never sodered or anything and don't have the equipment
@@jordanrossi7351 I don't use trust fires or IMRs but you could give it a shot, just keep in mind anything too hot will try those little stock switches. 6xAA gives you 9v right on the money and it works. Let me know how it turns out!
