Hey guys! Thanks for all the support as we go into the next chapter of my health journey in 2024! So thankful for you all! I've added a link to the Rebounder I bought to kick off my fitness pillar in the description box above! It's on HUGE SALE right now for the New Year if you're looking to follow along with me in a fun way to reboot an exercise routine!
I have lost 91lbs and kept it off. I reached goal prior to Covid and it was 30lbs above where I am now. It took about three years to lose the 60 and it was the best thing I ever did. WW is the best one to follow as you know your choices are endless!!! It’s so hard with two little children. Just keep focused on the prize. Your better health - more energy- and easier to play with the girls. Figure out what foods you love and try them first awhile . DEC29 -last year -to today I lost the additional 30lbs. Stick with WW. I eat foods( like holiday cookies) but fit it into plan -or be very strict the next day!! Go to meetings!!! That will help you to stay accountable for what you eat. Size 10 feels better than 20W. You are worth it- and I know you can do it. Good Luck and don’t. Beat yourself up!! ❤
dear creator, your vlogmas finale resonated deeply with me. navigating postpartum challenges and weight loss on the WW blue plan mirrors my journey. your 2024 health goals inspire me. finding balance in family life is crucial, and I appreciate your focus on mindset, movement, nutrition, sleep, and stress management. the connection to a TikTok creator's message about reclaiming oneself struck a chord. looking forward to following your journey! 🌟 #healthaspect
its so hard when you have small kids, im the heaviest ive ever been, i have a nonverbal autistic 3 year old and an autistic nonverbal 19 month old and after my 2nd daughter i experienced so much post partum depression and post partum rage. im only just now finally starting to feel it less even though its still there. your doing great! we are here for you! family and self health first
Here for you too mama! I can’t even imagine the hardships you’ve had, but I’m glad you are feeling more like yourself. Don’t lose yourself, you are doing amazing ❤ one day at a time!
I am currently caring for aging parents, in the past 8 months, I have seen my time for goals slip as I try to be there for everyone. Time to plan a better approach for moving forward
I hear you! I've been in many of the situations you describe. After a long illness and the associated weight gain, I have lost 45lbs with a combination of WW, intermittent fasting, and a coach. I am very proud to say that I have lost the six pounds I gained over Christmas and am looking forward to regaining my momentum. I am very glad to share this journey with you! I might be a few decades ahead of you...but we walk the same road! P.S. If I don't lose weight on WW I examine how many zero point foods I'm eating. I also at times have self-reduced my points by 1 or 2 to adjust for zero-point foods I over indulge in.
I’ve raised my Son but I can relate with what you are saying. I lost 75 lbs in 2015 and have gained it all back. Over this past summer I let myself go and be free and gained 15 lbs. I’ve been struggling to get at least that 15 back off. I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I just cannot get my mindset back in the right place. It’s so frustrating. I started watching your channel because of the cooking ideas and recipes you share. Plus it’s fun to watch you cook. I’m glad you are feeling better. I could sense a change in you since you moved to Houston. So glad you have more family time and help with the kiddos. Happy new year!
Hi, Lauren! I loved watching your video. I feel I can relate to you 100% because I also went from working full time to being a stay at home mom over a year ago. My son is 15 months and I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd son. I sort of yo yo'd with WW over the past few years. I feel I was able to take a few good habits from it, which helps and I will certainly get back on it postpartum. The biggest reason I started my fitness journey was because I gained over 85 lbs with my 1st pregnancy with my son and felt awful! I wanted to get energy back so I could run and play with my kids. It's not just about a number for me, but as you mentioned "an overall wellness". I feel so lonely many days, but am trying so hard to make new mom friends and by getting to know them, asking if they want to take the kids to the park for a walk. Winter is definitely a struggle for me, but I feel that's my time with my son to connect and walk.
Sweet friend, Please recognize that you are ALREADY beautiful and blessed. Yes, we can all make continuous improvements on ourselves on the inside and outside. You are a support to so many women. Take that in as a major accomplishment ❤️
One thing that helped me was group fitness glasses at my local gym! They usually have a kids area …. And a great way to meet others with similar goals!
Hi Lauren, I've watched you for a long time and can identify a little with you. I like had lost over 80lb 4 years ago and then slowly I let it come back. I'm sad to say that 10ln more and I'll be their again. Well today I decided to take back my health and get back fully to WW again,
Also, just as an idea. I don’t know where you fall religiously or spiritually, but I found a local MOPS (moms of preschoolers) group and it was really great for meeting new people in the same life stages as me when I didn’t know many people in my town (I have lived here a while, but didn’t know many people outside of our work life let alone with young kids). I’m not particularly religious myself, but it has been a nice way to meet new people even though it is strongly a Christian based philosophy. And even though I may not take the religious aspects the same way, I do find the focuses at the meetings and discussion topics interesting and still helpful.
Definitely need a friend in the journey as I am fighting for my life. I’m WW here too and going to try somewhat lower carb with it because of severe insulin resistance.
Everything you just said.. Man I started 2023 with a 2 year old and 3month old and now have a 3 year old and 15 month old. I feel like I'm just starting to feel like I can keep my head above water. I love your videos! You make it look so simple and easy, but also keep things relatable and real life!
Loved this video! The 5 pillars are helpful. Thanks for rebounder link. I just bought a walking pad. My balance is not great so wish me luck!! Quick question if you care to share: how tall are you? 😊
Girl, you have a LOT going on moving and caring for your daughters...and YES your Josh is working. I think you are doing the BEST you can at the moment.
I didn't and don't have small children, but I "lost my color" taking care of first one parent and then the other until they passed. Both had dementia. Best thing and hardest thing I've ever done, but it was over 10 yrs. I gained so much weight, my sleep cycle was trash, stress was unbelievable. I told someone this last weekend that I felt like ibhad a wall I needed to break thru to start getting back to me. But getting your color back REALLY resonates with me. Thank you for sharing
hi Laurem i also bought a rebounder and don't know what to do on it. I have lost about 72 have more to lose holiday I need to lose 45 this year to be a goal I like
Weight Watchers is the only thing that keeps me on track. I started last May and have maintained about 20lbs weight loss. I am still about 40 pounds from my goal and plan to use WW this year and stay consistent. It is very realistic and allows us to eat any food we want with proper portions. I am a new subscriber and here to support you and follow along with you!! 🥰
Hi Lauren happy new year to you and your loved ones and I hope that 2024 brings you a lot of love and happiness I enjoy your channel because you are amazing
Lauren thank you for sharing! I totally relate to you and your postpartum haze. I have a 13 month old and I was diagnosed with PPD. I’m finally feeling more like myself and I can try to devote more time and energy to WW. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing. 💕
There’s been so much “bounce back” culture… we need to remember how much our bodies go through in pregnancy & postpartum. It takes time!!! Be kind to yourself, small steps! ❤️
I completely hear and understand you! I have a toddler whose almost 2 and a 6 week old baby and I have had a lot of postpartum anxiety! Thanks for being so honest about how you were feeling, it helps other mamas like me feel like we are not alone in this!
I love how you see such a clear picture of being a mom and learning to be patient with yourself early on. It sounds like you are ready to dive into the routine and making healthy changes with yourself. Just don’t give up, we all are hear for support. I love your inspiration with WW. Your channel is awesome! Thank you!!
You can do this Lauren! So excited to see you are back on this weight loss journey for 2024! I lost 70lbs in WW 10years ago. I just had a baby (c-section) in September and need to lose 50lbs. I started WW again Jan 2nd and have lost 5lbs so far 😊 we got this! ❤
Yes! I can relate to so much you said. I’m still trying to lose the weight and my daughter is 11! Been on my journey since April and down 58 pounds. I found that going slowly has made this current journey so much easier and I’m so much happier. Love following your journey and seeing your beauties is a huge plus!
Good for you lauren it took me years after having my daughter to find the balance and last year I spent the majority of the year fixing my relationship with food and I ended up gaining a few lbs in the meantime but I am so ready now to get that weight off and I have broken it down into months. I only need to lose 5lbs a month and I will be where I want to be by summer so that's my focus... just 5lbs a month and I'm taking it month by month. I would really recommend colouring and reading for ways to chill out, reading has been the most helpful to me because it's the only way my brain fully finds an escape and I can then relax. Excited to do this over the next year with you x
Oh the seasons of life. I remember being so exhausted when my kids were small. It gets better! Good luck on your journey this year. I’m much older than you but I’m right there with you on this journey. I enjoy your videos very much but I have to say I don’t miss having little children. You are doing a great job.
Motherhood is precious and goes by so quickly. Family above all has always been my priority. I tried losing weight when my boys were small. I was successful considering the small windows of time in between taking care of them and their needs. I think what kept me sane was I learned how to tole paint during those years and it was a fantastic stress relief for me. May I compliment you on how well you have and continue to balance your home and family while still keeping your channel going. I’ll keep watching and appreciating your tips, recipes and kindness. You definitely brighten my day when you have another video to share. I watch both your channel and AMS in progress. I watch a few others here and there, but you two are my favorites. I wish you a good start here in Houston in finding a good circle of new friends. Thank you for continuing to do what you do. It does matter
I so agree with the “losing our color” while raising these really little kiddos. It has taken me a good 3 years with each of mine to really start feeling like I had something left at the end of the day to invest in myself again. So here’s to 2024 and investing in ourselves!
I have 4 children. I am past the littles time. Mine are teenagers now. I was in the same boat my husband worked a lot while I stayed home with the kids. It is so hard and draining. Drs severely under diagnosis PPD. Please give yourself grace for the time you struggled. I recently heard the flamingo thing and it is so true how much we give to our kids. I can tell you though being on the other side. It's so worth it!! Watching my children come into their own is worth every ounce I gave to them!!
Happy New Year! 🎉 Thank you for always being inspiring and having a positive attitude. I always look forward to your videos! I too feel like 2023 was not what I was hoping it to be as far as my health and weight loss goals. Your 5 pilars of health are so spot on to what I have seen online (nutrition, exercise, stress, and sleep) if you view them as like 4 legs in a chair, when one is off it leaves things unbalanced. I just invested in an Oura ring which tracks your sleep, stress, cycle, etc. Hopefully that will help me get back on track with my health journey 🤞 best wishes and good luck on yours!
The struggle is real momma!! You are definitely not alone! Over here getting ready to restart this new year. Had a decent loss last year, then summer came along…never got back on track but was able to closely maintain (with some up and down of course!) but ready to tackle it in the new year with lots of realistic goals!
I love your videos and the pillars I really should be concentrating on as well. There is a lot in the WW app where you can lower your points in the settings. I am so thankful for this channel. Can’t wait to see what 2024 brings ✨
Lauren I know I don't know hot but I love you! I've been watching your videos for over a year now (found you when I was doing my ww ) and I resonate with you so much. (Stay at home mom, up and down with weight, enjoys cooking, moved to a different state with my family and raising my son etc) this was such a great video. I just told my husband today that 2024 is the year i get myself back. Thank you for being so authentic with your content. You are an awesome mom and wife. I wish we could be friends bc I see a lot of myself in you. Just remember every day is a new day. Best of luck to you, you got this ❤
Lauren I love your WW recipes. Theyre always good. Keep that up! I started WW when I was in your age range with little children. It helped me then & it keeps me on track now as a grandmother. There will always be stressors in your life. Youre on the right track figuring out other ways besides over eating to relieve issues. Proud of you!
I can SOOO relate to your situation. I'm the same height and weight as you and also an emotional eater. I've been losing and gaining the same 20 lbs on WW for a year now. I retried it again and this time I tried the diabetic plan, which removes a lot of the "free" carb foods like bananas and potatoes. (You can still eat them but now they have points.) That really helped me! Also, I stopped cheating by using my points to the limit (like for example if a tablespoon of coffee creamer is 2 points, don't push it to the limit to like where you use 2 and 3/4 tablespoons because its just below turning to 3 points) Good luck, I hope it's successful for you in 2024!
Maybe it's not really "losing your color" or a piece of yourself, but giving it away. We give and give and give to our babies and it's no wonder it takes something out of us. As they grow, more of their own personality begins to develop and it becomes more of a back and forth conversation. I sort of feel like I'm in the same boat, but instead of a baby that I'm taking care of, it is my 93 yo husband who is going blind. These are the seasons of our lives, one changing into another as we go along. I love your 5 areas! So balanced.
Love this! I think a lot of people can relate to you and your situation. People have all kind of issues that demand attention be somewhere other than themselves. Sometimes it’s just timing.
I loved this message. I would of loved hearing this when I was a young mom. I have a 15 and 19 year old now. I loved this sit down and chat. Thank you for sharing ❤.
Thank you for your wonderful, inspirational videos. I need to get back on track with my weight and health. My life has been put on the back burner for the past 2 years. I hope 2024 will be more about taking care of MYSELF! I love your videos! 💕
I think it would be good for you to just cross-check your caloric intake while on WW && just make sure you are getting enough food!! I love your healthy goals. I plan on just focusing to be consistent this year, I want to create a gym routine and stick to it for the whole year! Would also love to save some extra money & reel in my grocery spending!! Looking forward to your upcoming videos!!
New Years is always a nice time to evaluate and reset. My goals are finding more patience and also trying new things. I'm excited for you. I wonder if by prioritizing your non-food pillars, your nutrition/weight loss journey will be more successful. Good luck to you!! :)
I'm hopeful I will find a peaceful balance and solid routine using the pillars. I often feel when I'm balancing, the weight falls off so much more easily! Love the trying new things goal!!!
I love your pillars. Maybe your coloring/creative outlet can include designing something to represent those pillars that you can hang up somewhere in the house so you see it and it's beautiful.
I know WW gets a bad wrap sometimes because it's "diet" but I do think it has its place. I've never personally done WW but I follow many who do and so many people have had success of some sort with it. I like how there are no"bad" or off limits foods. Wishing you all the best in 2024! I enjoy your channel.❤
Hello fellow Texan!!! 🤠♥You are absolutely ON POINT with the stress and damage having children and then caring for them can put on our body and mind. It's definitely worth it - but it has been so important for me to give myself grace and space when it comes to learning to love myself and work through these issues. 💖💖 I love how you are going to focus on balance this year. It's SOOOOOO hard to get that on point when you're a momma. Love the pillars of health. I have NO DOUBT you will be able to crush your goals. I'm here for your journey! It's crazy how your goals are so similar to the ones I just posted a video about on my channel. Love and hugs. ♥♥
u look great and u doing great I know u will continue a positive aspect u do a lot ur very family oriented and I always follow u u have good things going on on ur channel it takes time to get things done remember Rome wasn't built in a day and things aren't going to happen for us in a day we have to put the work in but don't overdo do ourselves u do a lot I love how u take care of family but u also have to take care of urself Lauren don't forget to always put God first the weight loss and everything will fall in place happy new year to u and all the family In God we trust God blesses us all!!!!
Thank you so much for telling us about the price discount on trampoline. I have wanted one for awhile to add to my home gym. So I was super excited to see one highly rated and for 50% off. Got it with your link so you can get credit. Thanks again!!
My baby of 7 kids is 15. I'm now facing this place where I'm letting the last of them merge into adulthood. I never wanted anything more than to be a mom. So tears.... ugh. I hear ya!
Hey guys! Thanks for all the support as we go into the next chapter of my health journey in 2024! So thankful for you all!

Not sure if you like words with friends, it helps me in that way like the coloring and all

I love your 5 pillars of health ideas! Definitely areas to work on👍🏻💕
Great video - thank you & Happy New Year
Great Video 🎉
Sounds great good luck have a blessed new year😊❤

Hi Lauren, I've watched you for a long time and can identify a little with you. I like had lost over 80lb 4 years ago and then slowly I let it come back. I'm sad to say that 10ln more and I'll be their again. Well today I decided to take back my health and get back fully to WW again,

God help you with your journey ! Hope you reach your goals, keep it going and don't be too hard on yourself, small steps makes long distances
I ordered a rebounder too! It should be here Wednesday!
Definitely need a friend in the journey as I am fighting for my life. I’m WW here too and going to try somewhat lower carb with it because of severe insulin resistance.

I so agree with the “losing our color” while raising these really little kiddos. It has taken me a good 3 years with each of mine to really start feeling like I had something left at the end of the day to invest in myself again. So here’s to 2024 and investing in ourselves!
Yes 💯 Best Wishes in finding yourself this year ❤️
I have 4 children.
Thank you and best wishes with your fresh start!
Happy New Year to you and your family Lauren!🎉🥳🎉
Happy New Year, Lauren & family! 🎉I truly enjoy watching your channel. You got this! Take one day at a time. 😊

The postpartum journey is so hard. My little one is 5 and i think i am just starting to return to my normal. Hang in there!
Happy New Year 🕛🎊
Happy New Year
The struggle is real momma!!
Thank you so much for watching & supporting! Thankful to have you all here on the journey!
Best of luck to you, you got this ❤
Know you*

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉
Happy New Year to you!
Lauren
I love your WW recipes. Theyre always good. Keep that up!
I started WW when I was in your age range with little children. It helped me then & it keeps me on track now as a grandmother.
There will always be stressors in your life. Youre on the right track figuring out other ways besides over eating to relieve issues.
Proud of you!
thank you so much ☺
I can SOOO relate to your situation.
Happy new years 😊
Happy New Year!
Looking forward to your upcoming videos!!
consistency and routines make such a difference! I'm excited to get back into mine as well! Thanks for watching!
Good luck. Restarting with WW today. New Year, new start!!
Stay positive! I love the feeling of a Fresh Start!
Thank you very encouraging.
I love your pillars. Maybe your coloring/creative outlet can include designing something to represent those pillars that you can hang up somewhere in the house so you see it and it's beautiful.
Love this idea!!!
Great video!!
But cant 4 lb be just weight fluctuations? So then essentially your the same. My dietitian says 5 lbs is fluctuating
Lauren I can't find the rebounder link
Just added it to the description! Its on huge sale right now too!
My baby of 7 kids is 15. I'm now facing this place where I'm letting the last of them merge into adulthood. I never wanted anything more than to be a mom. So tears.... ugh. I hear ya!
We can hardly hear the lawn mower.
