have you watched planet roller skate? they’re super fun and informative videos, and Indy estrojen and the rest of the moxi skate team are so inspiring! I hope you keep skating, stay safe and have fun 😁
Always makes me happy seeing people own moxi skates..been roller skating for maybe 4 years ..not the best at it, don't have Moxi skates but damn. I love their youtube channel and their skates look like the best ones out there. Just a shame they're on the pricey side :)
@@edengarden6811 Your welcome! The skates are on the pricy side, but I garantee you, they are worth every single bit! :) Their lolly skates are perfect for everyone and last forever! :3 My first pair of moxis is now 4 years old and they still work unbelievably great :3
I was the same way when I saw that color, NEEDED them, just spoke to my soul, haha. But I have an eight year old who loves the rink down the street from us, so I ended up using them pretty much right off the bat. I haven't done much outdoor stuff on them yet, though I want to. The court you found looks great. :-)
I just got those skates! MOXI Lolly Taffy for my birthday and I love them. I wont take them off lol I'm no expert but on your video your are skating on asphalt which is not the smoothest surface skate-able yes but it takes more work IMO. I would suggest more slick surface for an easier skate sesh. I found trails near water in my area which are a lot of fun
Great video, Erica! I have gotten into skating in the past few months and have some new moxis too. I have been doing a learn to skate course with my local derby league and even if you don't aspire to do derby I really recommend doing something similar if you're keen. I have learnt t-stops, plow stops, carving, jumping, transitions etc all in a couple months. I am subscribing, so I hope you keep going and keep making videos!
It took me years until I found out that I could adjust my skate trucks. It helps with your movement and turning, There's videos on how to adjust your skates to your personal feel. Good luck!
Don't you just LOVE them? I got my first pair of Moxis last summer, and that's the only kind I'll ever buy from now on. I recently started going to skate parks with my friends, and Moxis are awesome for that, too... a whole new world of skating!
Honestly, I've never used the hooks on high top skates. They're not really necessary unless you're doing artistic skating - and that's only because judges can mark you off for not having them laced all the way up if they notice it. "Skates must be laced up properly, to the last eyelet or hook." So, yeah, you may want to try not lacing them up "all the way" when you skate. It helps give your ankles better control to make it easier to turn, spin, etc.
What size do you normally wear in women's and what size did you end up getting? I wear a whole size (8) and I'm not sure if I should get a 7 or go down to a 6 because I dont really want to use insoles. HALP!
I wear a women's 5.5/mens 4 in Vans and almost every other shoe brand and got a mens size 4 in my Moxi skates. I made this video over a year ago and in hindsight I would've gotten a 3.5 if it were possible in order to have a closer fit. Sadly, the lollies aren't made that small. If I were you I'd reach out to either the Moxi Skate Shop, Planet Roller Skate, or even your local skate shop regarding sizing. They'll be able to provide more insight.
Indy from the moxi girls is a women’s 8 and she typically wears a size 7. I think most skate companies run true to men’s sizing but some might run larger so check with the website to be sure. They usually have a recommendation.
Hey Erica, did you get better with the skates? New subscriber. I want to buy some skates, what brand would you recommend as a beginner? I just discovered your channel and I hope you do more skating for us to see.
Hi Lizzie, thanks for subscribing! I did eventually get better at skating and still currently skate. I had taken a break last year due to a minor car accident that I was in, but am back to skating now and hope to post another video. As far as what brands I'd recommend, it's hard to say since I've only skated my Moxi Lollys. But I recently helped a friend buy her first pair of skates and after a ton of research I narrowed down the top brands I felt comfortable recommending to an entry level skater to be: Riedell (this company also manufactures Moxi), Sure Grip, Chaya, and Moxi, as well. From what I found, these brands consistently produced durable skates and have been in the business for quite some time now. Hope this at least gives you a starting point of what brands to check out!
I bought my skates from urban outfitters online so I got them somewhere between a week and a half and 2 weeks after ordering. If you order them through the Moxi site your turn around time is 1-4 weeks.
When you're about to checkout on moxiskates.com, click "international checkout." after you choose your payment method, it will ask you what country you want to ship your skates to.

I recently found that channel. it's been really helpful!
kfrederking1 just came from watching
I recommend the channel dirty school of skate. Dirty Deborah has the best tutorials
I love those vids, I skated for a while and then went off it, but I now decided to save up now that the big trend is over

I love the brand. I have chaya skates and they are so comfy, a lot of foam to make it feel so soft. I don't know i'f moxi has that?
@@edengarden6811 Yes they do :) But actually moxi concentrates most on the right wheels and fit of the shoe
@@ihoneybae thank you!!

@@ihoneybae I am saving up for them. I hope to buy them around xmas. I think the price is high yes bug you can have fun with them for sooo many years!
Finally someone who gets them and shows them skating in them
When you lace up around the eyelets instead of going under you should wrap around from the top to prevent bending and get a more secure lace
thanks for the tip!
haha that is the best music video ever! 😻

To help your eyelets last longer, it’s recommended that you go over the hooks instead of under them - loved the video💜💜💜
thank you!! i will remember that tip next time!
Such a dream!!
Omg, i just got mine today and its the same one

@@urrka728 thank you Érica.
@@urrka728 oh, I am glad you have recovered. Take care.
Yes ! My pair finally came in yesterday, I got the same color 😄 My goal is to try to be as cool and awesome as the Moxi Girls hehe. Loved your video!
the moxi girls make it look so easy! thanks for watching :)
are they true to size?
Fly sister flyyyyyy your are doing amazing
How long did your skates take to arrive after placing your order?
I bought my skates from urban outfitters online so I got them somewhere between a week and a half and 2 weeks after ordering. If you order them through the Moxi site your turn around time is 1-4 weeks.
erica oh I see. I wanted to order from there as well but it cost a little more than the Moxie site. I'm hoping mine doesn't take so long lol.
I'd love for you to come back!!!
Very cute girl. Nice skates and nice video.
One of the moxi skaters channels INDY JAMMA JONES has a ton of roller skating instruction tutorials they're super cool so I suggest watching them.
Yah yah cool Moxi is the best
how long are the moxi skate laces?
the ones that come with the Lollys are 96 inches
Muy bien patinadora ⛸⛸
Are they true to size?
I felt that they were. Moxi uses men's sizing, so you'll have to subtract 1.5 from your women's size to find out your men's size
how are you doing skating wise now
not getting to skate as often as I'd like, but slowly making progress.
Those are expensive skates to not give a chance to roll. I'm happy she went out with them.
how does she have 65 sub SHE IS SOOOO PREETY
Can I order ones to bulgaria?
Yes! moxiskates.com will ship to Bulgaria
@@urrka728 wow thanks I always knew they couldnt
By the way how will I get ones I have never ordered anything out of Bulgaria
*How will I get them*

Hahahahaha nice
Hey Erica! ;)
Anyone have the black glitter ones?
There are no black glitter ones
So you saw skates in a video, it looked fun, and you just decided to drop $300 on skates? *#BIGspender*
Cameron West but it was worth it since she likes them 🤣
