      I was really surprised at the quality for sure! I have another one from them, a geared head, I'll be reviewing soon.

    how does a l bracket work and attached to the tripod f it has that little suare removal base plate?

    • @GeraldBertramPhotography
      @GeraldBertramPhotography  3 роки тому +1

      That square plate is just a standard ARCA Swiss plate. So if your L bracket is ARCA Swiss compatible you are all set. If it isn't then just attach the plate that comes with the head to the base of your L bracket via the 1/4 mount.

    I know these are quite great but have a look at neweer ball heads, they are costed half the price but with same build quality, hell even better in some models

      Oh I have had a number of Neewer tripod heads, among other Neewer gear, and can say without a doubt it doesn't come anywhere close to the build quality of these heads. No offense, but it's not even close. It's really hard to tell until you actually hold both in your hands and use them. Not saying Neewer isn't right for some people, but doing photography for a living I have to have gear that will stand up to the daily abuse my gear gets in the field and unfortunately every Neewer head I have ever head broke down fairly quickly. For the occasional shooter Neewer might be a good choice.

    What is the small screw on the flat size of the lock knob? Is it for friction control? I want a ball head for my monopod. I need to be able to set the ball to a point where it is tighter but still moves. Can you do this with this head?

      It is for friction control in case anyone was wondering.
