    The problem was that there were too many cooks in the kitchen on this season. It was all over the place! No unified vision!

    Is it confirmed that there's going to _be_ more Mandalorian? Because I really felt that this episode had some really good series finale vibes, especially with its denouement.

    Though the finale did have some really cool moments, it also felt kind of.... Too Disney? And what I mean by that is everything just fell into place too easily and had that happily ever after feeling which I and many others did not enjoy. I get it if some people did, and that's cool, but me personally, it just wasn't my thing. Also, yes, I know Star Wars is owned by Disney, but they can still stay true to what Star Wars is and not make everything have the perfect outcome! Sometimes, the bad guy deserves some kind of W! That's all :)

      Exactly i dont mind the happy ending but star wars has always given the villians their proper Ws before falling which is what made it unique comapred to other universes cuz the bad guys won sometimes disney is doing too much with easy stakes stories its disappointing

    DC's Titans had a similar issue where they rushed plot lines and it had an effect of reversing course on previously established events. Really frustrating.
    Hopefully they get this feedback and try to be a little more consistent.

    Almost all modern serial tv writing is very much done with the season finale in mind, or the grand finale for closed-end productions.

    Since bobf, it feels like the studio has interfered with Jon Favreau plans. Grogu coming back so soon make ls absolutely no sense, especially when it in another show.

    Can't believe they destroyed the dark saber like that...

    • @Jondiceful
      @Jondiceful Рік тому

      You got me thinking. The dark Saber being a kind of lightsaber requires a force-sensitive person to build it. If it survived in its damaged state, another force-wielder could presumably rebuild it. According to the legend of the Dark Saber, the Saber belongs to the victor in battle. Technically, Moff Gideon defeated Bokatan so the Saber belongs to him, except he is dead now. That leaves three possibilities. 1. It really is gone forever case closed. 2. One of Moff Gideon's force sensitive clones survives and rebuilds the Saber. 3. Din Grogu rebuilds and claims it since he defeated Moff Gideon. My money is on #2, but I guess we'll see. That said, I think it would be better for everyone if the dark saber's story arc has finally ended.

    Some of these complaints are really nonsensical. The droid port complaint, the IG-11 complaint... Nonsense. We do not need an entire TV series of Grogu in IG-12 saying just two words over and over again.

    I'm sorry your Navarro point doesn't make sense. Because I guarantee if they went to Mandalore and did nothing you'd complain they did nothing, because that would be bad story telling. But beyond that, the Mandalorians are inherently stubborn, of course they wouldn't give up their home world. But on top of that, they did settle Navarro, they used a site as a base to use it as neutral ground between the main factions. I just don't understand why you thought the story would actually show us Mandalore only to throw it away. That's just a bad idea and narratively unsatisfying at the least.

    another lack luster season... I expected better due to it's popularity but it still felt cheaply done... these starwars spin offs are trying to balance family and adult viewing and doesn't always work out so well... They need to pick a lane and I felt it could of been more dark and made for older viewing...

    Ultimately, Moff Gideon's still alive per say because IMO one of his force user clones probably survived

    • @robm6726
      @robm6726 Рік тому +2

      Probably the one that opened it's eyes somehow got away. Now we can have Moff Gideon with the Force and a lightsaber pop up later.

    • @joshcasticshow
      @joshcasticshow Рік тому

      Even if that is the case, it would be Molf Gideon as we know it. Since the original Molf Gideon didn't have force powers, he can't put his soul into the new body like Palpatine. Therefore, clone Gideon would be a totally different person. It's like how the clones are Jango Fett, and they all have there own personalities.

      @@joshcasticshow Not necessarily, if Pershing was developing mind mapping to imprint on clones then there's your loophole. Like Ghost in the Shell with Major Kusanagi or in Star Trek: Picard

    Something is off or wrong? I'm guessing it stems more from Kathleen Kennedy than a lack of Dave Filoni's presence. Kathleen Kennedy wanted Gina Carano gone and essentially negating any role the Rangers of the New Republic would have played into the overall plot. It also seems as though she was the one who decided to bring Grogu back prior to season 3 (as Yogurt the Wise would say, "merchandising"). My guess is that her decisions forced Jon Favreau to change some major plat pounts that were already planned for season 3.

    I enjoyed this season quite a lot. Sure, at times it felt like the Bo'katan show but overall it was a pretty fun experience. I don't know why people are hating on it honestly.
    I've seen people saying it's because of the happy ending but thats really a non-point because we've had happy endings before in starwars and no one complained about it so you can't make it an issue now

    • @joster118
      @joster118 Рік тому

      Finally, a sane Star wars fan. The hate makes little sense to me. I get people being upset about Mando taking a back seat at times but it definitely isn't as terrible as people are saying.

    • @nmg3282
      @nmg3282 Рік тому

      I actually really enjoyed it. And, yes, he took a back seat, but honestly it ties in with the character. I think the point was to show that. Bo-Kafan is more of a natural leader and it makes sense for her arch to take charge, but ultimately non of what is happening plot wise to Mandalorians and what we are learning would have happened without Din and his decision to save the child. A protagonist sometimes can take a back seat but still be pivotal. I loved it, save for cameo episode the cameos acting grated on me but overall it was a good season and frankly I think people have short memories and angry taht Jon favrau and Dave Filoni are not outright saying that they want to change the sequels.

  • @shadowkrono
    @shadowkrono Рік тому

    i quite enjoyed the entire season, and i'm including the 2 bobba's chapters as part of it, they need to work more on the "clan" aspect of it since we have had only one clan and one cult and neither is clearly defined, now to wait for ashoka end see if we get other 2 chapters of mandalorian in there (JK), what it felt to me is that they were rushing it to make a time skip, i think they need grogu (sorry DIN grogu) a little more mobile that's why they tried with the IG suit but didn't work, the only thing i didn't get is why not capture the pirate ship? it can become an asset... but that's just me.
    I don't know if there'll be a time skip or not but unless you have a really good adventure that will start other series i don't think i want to watch season 4 full of useless chapters only to create another villain

    The only things that went wrong:
    1) Bo-Katan wasn't killed off
    2) the Darksaber was damaged
