I don't think Din was dragged under. I got the impression that he didn't know there was a dropoff and he got pulled to the bottom by the weight of his armor.
I thought dragged at first, but after seeing the immediate drop-off right in front of where he disappeared I'm thinking yea he fell off. Also, How would the MS have grabbed him? It doesn't have tentacles to reach up that far all sly like, and IF it had grabbed him, why would he still be alive and it just chilling up there.
@@12bigredd I do agree that the weight of the armor was most likely how Din sunk down into the water. But, I do also agree that it wasn't a coincidence that both him and Bo-Katan saw a living Mythosaure down there. The Force definitely has something planned ahead. I have no doubt that when the time comes, it will be determined that either Din Djarin or Bo-Katan Kryze will not only wield the dark saber. The Mythosaur was not the reason Mando was pulled under. When Bo Katan is passing it, it clearly looks like it just woke up, and doesn't care about them all that much. If it was the reason Mando was pulled under it both would not have been asleep, and it would have been actively trying to get Mando, as it has only been a few seconds. Although it is hard to say, I think that Mando literally just sunk because he was wearing full Beskar armor with no jetpack.
Bro, but the second he was sunk, Bo fuckin went to get him. Like 1 second later. And she couldn't fucking get him before he was already at the bottom. And she was also with armor plus the fuckin jetpack. There's no way he just sunk, and for that I mean there's no way Favreou is gonna say "he just felt to the bottom in 1 second"
So glad Jon and Dave had Din Djarin find the living waters in the second episode. To me this proves they are not simply writers and producers, they are fans. My biggest concern for the season was having to wait until the last episode or second to last episode for Din and Grogu to find the waters. By doing the story like this I think it really opens up a lot of possibilities rather than a season of average adventures designed to get us to the mines and living waters. This may even allow for old Mandalrian wounds to heal between all it's people.
My bets. This season is going to show Grogu really going through a maturity growth. Talking. Easily using the force. No more nappy times. Learning to pilot the N1. Reaching out to other creatures, the Mythosaur and Purgil, like Ezra did in Rebels. Mando, and Bo will reunite House Kryze and Visla. Pirates will get their asses kicked. It's gonna be an awesome season.
Bo-Katan just realized a few things: 1. I went in that water as a CHILD and that thing was down there the entire time??? and 2. The re emergence of the Mythosaur coincides with the re emergence of the Mandalorian people. There is more to Din than I thought, this can't be a coincidence
@@belloconnell we dont actually know yet but last one was like 2,000 years ago, so assuming this is a new one that moved back into the waters after humans left
Close, Bo states that the caverns were not as deep when she was a kid. The bombing opened up the caverns, but I think we can all agree she wet herself.
Dude that is exactly what I thought too... It must have been living in one of the deeper lower down aquifers and the bombing shook it loose from its habitat or it's old habitat could have collapsed. Now as for the din bo katan rivalry.... Right up until that moment, specially after he paid respect to her father's sacrifice, she was developing a modicum of respect and admiration for him and his dedication to the Creed. And finding this mythosaur while he was trying to redeem himself, has got to be a clear signal to both of them that they're both meant to rule mandalore TOGETHER
As the saying goes, there can only be one! Bo had her shot, and the Mandalorians were scattered to the winds. The dark saber clearly still accepts her, however that doesn't mean other Mando's will. I think it's time for someone else to rule.
@@Commanderstevo I mean, the Darksaber itself doesn't care. Like all lightsabers, the Darksaber just reacts to the mindset of the wielder. If you're clear of mind and purpose, you have no trouble wielding the Darksaber. If you're a deeply superstitious cult member that is rife with shame and self-doubt for questioning his beliefs...the Darksaber picks up on that.
@@dungeonguy88 I agree, to an extent. I would argue it's more than just the users mindset. Afterall non force sensitives could not do anything like a proper jedi with a lightsaber. This is because they lacked the knowledge of how the blade works. Energy constantly flows through the crystal, you aren't fighting so much with a simple blade as you are with a current of power. This is why your thoughts and actions manifest in the blade as you become a part of its cricit. While yes, Din certainly does have a lot weighing down on his mind, he was pretty clear in mind and purpose. Even after Bo rescued him he was still determined on making it to the living waters to be forgiven for his transgretions. Remember it was heavy for him *before* he became an apostate. You might say it was because he was dealing with not seeing grogu, even when he got him back it was still heavy. We all know much more about lightsabers than Din, he doesn't know how the force works, they call jedi "sorcerers" and the force as magic. He is thinking of it as just some sword, not realizing that he has to form a "bond" with it, that he needs to connect with it, and realize its a part of him. TL:DR it is mindset, I just think it's deeper than having a depressing week and so sword gets heavy, Din is missing fundimental knowledge on how to properly wield the blade. I hope Bo came to realize there is something about Din, and educates him on how to actually use the darksaber.
Until Grogu comes of age of course. I think the Mythosaur sensed a force weilder and that it will bond with Grogu. Then with Grogu giving the go, Din can ride the Mythosaur. And I think Bo Katan will allowed to wield the Darksaber, because to the Mandalorians Mythosaur trumps Darksaber anyway. Nice symbolism of shared power. As regents and champions to Grogu together they will unite the Mandalorians.
Ok, I have to point something out. Din was NOT violently dragged under the water. As he was walking, he stepped off an unknown ledge, and two things impacted that moment: Din was sti.. weakened by the fluid drain, and though Beskar is not normally heavy, his armor acted as weights, dragging him to the bottom. When Bo-Katan reached the bottom of the waters, virtually no silt was stirred up, and Din was on his back. He was still too weak to be able to swim back up, plus he didn't have his jet pack on. If the Mythosaur had "violently dragged" Din down into the depths, the waters would not have remained so clear.
THANK YOU! I've been seeing people say he was dragged under but never saw any evidence of that. I thought he was just weak then there was the drop off.
Wouldn't be surprised if Bo-Katan is like, "leave it to the Armorer to make you a jetpack without telling you how to use it" "You don't ever take that jetpack off unless you are in a secure location or you are piloting a ship. That pack is your life"
I think they are setting us up for a new royal family. The way that Bo wields that saber and the way grogu is and the connection they each have to different factions.. I think we have our new Mandalorian royal family.
I’m really hoping Grogu becomes leader of Mandalore and ushers in a new high republic. One that is aligned with the light side of the force but includes an emphasis on family and human emotion. The perfect mix of Jedi and Mandolorian culture
Hi :) Not only didn’t I expect the scene of going into the sacred waters, but I also didn’t expect to see a mythosaur right now, ITS SO AMAZINGLY COOL! Thanks for the video 💎😊
0:38 Eh, most I have seen online are still unsure. It seems to wakeup when she passes it, rather than being already awake. Others along with myself believe that given the state of the stairs when she enters the water, it looks like he had fallen off the submerged broken stairs.
@@monkeyg0d It’s like me when I couldn’t see out of my buddy’s HEMA armor and fell into his pool. Was luckily strong enough to waddle my fatass to the shallow end and get out. Although I was put in charge of polishing and treating it for water damage. It’s all good luckily, no scratches, dents, or rust.
Really! The moment mando sank, bo katan dived, with her jetpack. Now consider her weight with the armour pulling her down and the force jet pack also pushing her down, yet it took her quite some time to get to mando. And you are saying he just sanked, without any help of force pulling him down faster than that jetpack of bo katan to fall that deep?? Do you see the logic here?
Back in season 1, a friend of mine said he thought the shows title "The Mandalorian" refers not to Din Djarrin, but to Grogu. He said he thought Grogu would be raised as a Mandalorian and become the next Mandalorian Jedi, claim the Darksaber, and become the new ruler of Mandalore. I scoffed at his idea, but now I think he might be on to something.
I think we were all misled by the title "the Mandalorian." This series is shaping up that it might not be a story about Din Djarn but as an Origin story for Grogu to become the leader of Mandalore. As a force sensitive he can wield the dark saber, control large beasts and has shown in the latest episode the ability to fight off enemies. Grogu is the real "Mandalorian."
Din doesn't want to lead the Mandalorians, hence why the darksaber does not respond to him. He doubts himself and was willing to give it to Bo because it means nothing to him.
I'm hoping Ezra Bridger shows up. He's the canon OG of Animal Friendship with Force-powers, maybe he'll come and give Grogu some training, and provide a tie-in to the Ahsoka series.
While that sounds good, I think he's far more likely to show up again in Asoka. We know she's actively looking for him and she's got a show coming out. Ezra will be back soon, just not right now
No, for fuck sakes no, Disney needs to stop with this interconnected bullshit, Rebels like resistance was one of the worst things to happen to star wars, the characters are dry, the story writing is something a 14 year old came up with, the story arc is trash, and the show was hot garbage, they need to stop bring rebels shit into every fucking show, the last good animated star wars show was The clone wars.
I think Bo Katan will willingly let Din Djarin lead the new age of Mandalore. The scene where she watches Din go into the water and looks totally inspired by his devotion starts setting that up, Bo had her chance to rule and she sees that Din is as worthy and devoted as the best of the Mandalorians. In fact, Din is the physical representation of the perfect Mandalorian, while Bo's reading the plaque on the monuments in a sarcastic tone Din is exercising his complete devotion to the creed. She will surely see the irony in this, and feel content to let Din lead. I don't know if Grogu will lead the Mandalorians, he can, as Din's successor, but Grogu won't be old enough to lead for a long time which sets him up nicely to rule Mandalore after Din, and then lead the Jedi after that
Dude what you said is noble and in theory that's how it should go but Din is gonna have to decapitate Bo Katan before she ever lets go of her desire to rule as Mandalore. She's too power hungry and she has no honor. She's an opportunist waiting for her moment.
Din has shown exactly 0 ambition to be a leader of his people. I think the only reason people are pushing this narrative is because he's the main character of the show (grogu aside)
@@squuid15 As far as I know they have only mentioned "Revan" in the book of TROS movie nothing more than that, mentioning him in the Mandalorian show would make it official because atm unless you google it or you buy the movie book, you won't know that Revan was even mentioned. He came close to be in the Clone Wars series but they chose Bane instead :(
I think the mythosaur is a creature of the force like the Bindu and loath wolf's. Didn't look like it moved a limb to pull-down Din also. Like it wanted to show off to Bo
What puzzles me the most is how Moff Gideon had no problem weidling the darksaber......maybe it's about wanting to rule Mandalore...Sabine did not want to but ended up accepting that she might have to....Din Djarin had no interest, but then again he talks about how mandalorians aren't united and how they should be...shouldn't that count for something? Idk that part confuses me
Darksaber shares some sentience, apparently a bit more than other sabers/crystals, and it seems to work best with those with ambition and drive. Din is atm still conflicted over what he's seen and experienced, because underneath the dealings as a bounty hunter with scum of the galaxy and the Creed... he doesn't know himself, or what he wants. The Darksaber is simply not a tool to be used by dogmatic wielders, it's driven by emotion. It seems like it's almost a Dark-side tool, but that's just because the motivation behind their goals is aligned more often than not. My head-canon on it anyways.
@@ArcNine9Angel I like your interpretation....but at the same time, why would Sabine become so easily comfortable with it. I'm sorry, I haven't slept in over 30 hours maybe I'm just not thinking right lol.
@@Lanwarder she had a strong connection to the force via her allies and how she choose to live and what she did plus via direct line of blood to its maker as does bo but like any lightsaber in both legends and lore they are linked to a person on a level that can not be understood or seen by others the crystals are in a sense alive within the force this is what leds a force user to them or to a saber and the reason those sabers made with the crystals that are not natural always have a weaker connection to the weapon and rely on brute power to fight as they have no proper connection to the weapons soul you could say
I think it has to do with confidence. I think din will be able to wield it once he figures out where he stands, currently he is in-between mandalorians, I almost feel like the bathing in the waters in a way is a rebirth for him.
The Darksaber doesn't care about who wields it. Like all lightsabers, the Darksaber has a Kyber crystal as its core. Kyber crystals are conduits for the Force, so much so that they're almost alive. Because they are so attenuated to the Force, they can react and amplify the feelings and mindset of the wielder. This is why the Jedi and the Sith both favor lightsabers in particular. Apart from being deadly weapons, a lightsaber can literally strengthen a Jedi's focus or a Sith's rage. But even with a non-Force User the Kyber crystals still react in this way. They react and amplify the feelings of a wielder and rebound it back upon them. If you're clear of mind, certain of your purpose, and no plagued by self-doubt, a lightsaber is light and easy to wield. If you're filled with self-doubt, superstition, and reject what a given lightsaber represents it will reflect that back on the wielder. The wielder's thoughts will become unfocused, the blade will fight against them and feel heavy. It's all about the mindset of the wielder. The Darksaber itself truly doesn't give a crap beyond that.
I really don't think the mythosaur is what dragged din down, I think he reached a ledge in the water and ended up dropping off because of the weight of his armor which took him by surprise and knocked him out. If the mythosaur dragged him down why was it just sitting there to wake up when Bo brought him back up? If it did drag him down why was it not actively awake and saw Bo come down and try to swipe at her? It seemed like the mythosaur was just down there and din and Bo disturbing it is what finally woke it up
hmm same thoughts as well , maybe something else is lurking below as well ? but episode one already makes no sense some random sea monster coming out just to make din entrance look good , lol

Din has already stated he doesn't want to rule, that's why he tried to give Bo Katan the Darksaber in the first place. Now that she's taken it up when he was incapacitated by an enemy she defeated...grey area. Could that legitimize her possession? He lost it and she took it up and defeated the ones who defeated him. The mythasaur didn’t drag Din down, he just walked off a drop off and has beskar armor on lol Edit: however after watching it again he sunk WAY too far compared to Bo-Katan using her jet pack
I'm truly hoping that the writers don't forget about the BASILISK WAR DROID! It would the BEST if when the Mandalorians come together due to the raise of the Mythosaur, that they somehow they also trip upon a secret cash of Baskilisk war droids waiting in the depths of the planet.
Iv been waiting years for this, I knew they would eventually rediscover one. Boba Fett and the mandalorian culture has always been my favorite faction in star wars. It's a good time to be a star wars superfan
I am so freaking excited about this. The mythosaur is so cool, and I hope they do something great with it. Idk who will be the leader of Mandalore, but I do know they will be riding the beast, whilst welding the dark Saber, and (hopefully, but probably not) wearing the OG Helmet!
My thinking is that Din and Bo-Katan might end up in a romantic relationship. I'd be genuinely surprised if Disney allowed Filoni to let them fight to the death for the Title of Mandalore. Grogu seems to be forming a bond with her, too, seeing how far and how much she did for Din after Grogu was sent to her for help. A bit into the "Above and Beyond" category, if you ask me. I think her Watch's Oath was rekindled in her after confirming the existence of the mighty Mythosaur. One of my predictions was that Din would either tame or kill one to regain his status.
I feel like the creature has the ability to eat entire armies and those tusks would make it a challenge for Bo and Din if they fight against it in the next episode
This episode was great im so stoked for episode 3. The juxtaposition of Bo's attitude and Din's attitude to the creed was perfect. I now find Mandalorians just as cool as jedi/sith lore. Its very unique and im glad we getting stories that weave it together. I hope DIN becomes the Mandolore but we will see.
My theory about Din Jarrin being rejected by the Dark Saber: The Saber knows Moff Gideon intentionally lost his fight with Din in order to deny Bo Katan the Saber, so it was not a noble victory.
This sounds cool :D Mythosaur looks awesome. Nice adition :D I think Bo-Katan. Although I never watched it :) I will come back. May the Force be with you :)
I think ultimately, Grogu is going to end up with the Darksaber and a Mythosaur. He may not be the first one to do so, but I have no doubt that Grogu is going to end up the leader of the new Mandalorians at some point.
Can some one point me at the episode where din jaradin(apologies for spelling) mentioned he was interested in leading Mandalore? I was very certain he was happy to give the dark sabre to Bo katan at the end of season 2 What did I miss?
Only the people who love din djarin say that, but the character himself only cares about Grogu, and becoming mandalorian again in the eyes of his tribe. I’m my opinion it looks more like Bo katan or Boba Fett could become Mandalore
I don’t believe he wants to lead but prove that Mandalore isn’t cursed and liveable so that they can be reunited and not spread across the galaxy like stars as he says. He was a loner who accepts help when needed. He had 2 years with the dark saber and swings it like a toddler with a sledgehammer yet Bo can pick it up instantly and have no issues. It knows true leaders.
I was super surprised, I figured there was something down there but it exceeded any expectations I had, and it legit made me so uneasy and kind of spooked me, and by kind of I mean legit did
i think it's gonna be a new royal family with grogu being the next tarre vizsla (being the second mandalorian jedi), Din Djarin being the one who rides the mythosaur and Bo Katan wielding the darksaber since she seemed to have no problem wielding it in s3 ep 2
A few thoughts - why are the living waters known by that name? Could it be a factor in the return of the Mythosaur? Or was it just called that because a Mythosaur lived in it? I wasn't sure Din actually noticed the Mythosaur at all. He wasn't the most focused. It seemed like Bo-Katan saw it but didn't mention it? I think Boba Fett's rancor was foreshadowing in more ways than one. The fact the Mythosaur first looked at Bo-Katan means she might be in a unique position of being able to tame it (like Boba Fett and the rancor). Someone commented as much on another video and I think they're right. It would've seen Din too, but she's the one who seemed to meet its gaze. I also reached the conclusion that the weight of Din's armour pulled him down under the water. The Mythosaur looked sleepy at the time.
Great video! I personally don't see Din wanting to lead or rule, I think that's why he has trouble with the Dark Saber. In my humble opinion, I think the Dark Saber is, on some level, aware that it has its own purpose, to unite all of Mandalore, and so the saber is more 'submissive' or lighter for those whose intentions align w/ the Saber. Being heavy for Din is the saber's way of saying "no, we should do this instead"' and since Bo Katan's intentions coincide w/ the Saber, it becomes lighter, working w/ her instead of against her. Either Bois going to end up w/ the Dark Saber or Din is going to decide to help lead Mandalore into a new era
The DS is only a weapon, albeit with a couple of special features. It is NOT a sentient being. The DS has no 'awareness'. Din should become Manda'lor now as his mind is now clear - he has Grogu back and has now 'redeemed' himself. PLUS, Din's force-sensitivity should now emerge (he and his parents were Whills). Rumor/leaks state that Bo could become Manda'lor at the end of season 3, but I don't see it. Romantically, she and Din could become a thing, as his example is softening her disbelief and shecontinually goes out of her way to save his ass repeatedly (3 x's to date). The only 'true' threat to Din is one of the unknown members of the Ordo Clan...as it is reported that some were involved in the last Mando Civil War (when Bo was the Regent of Mandalore). Several people have wielded the DS - Maul, Sabine, Gar Saxon, Bo-Karen, Moff G, now Din. The others had no problem with the blade (except Sabine). It is a curious circumstance? Maul & Moff G are force-sensitive, so that explains their ease of use. This inconsistency is somewhat baffling.
I think I want a Mythosaur skull tattoo! 💀Oh, and when Grogo used Jedi Mind control on the beast in earlier episodes that might have been foreshadow to his riding the great Myhosaur in next season.
dude that scene went hard... also im pretty sure Mando just didn't know about the drop-off and slipped a little cause he had beskar armor which is probably heavy af
I would like to see that Bo can right all her wrongs and then go on to being remembered for always fighting for whats right by the clan and now remembered for the worst points
This is my current hypothesis for the direction of the season/show: Din will be the new ruler of the Mandalorians. For starters, the show is called the mandalorian, originally thought it was just centered on a madalorian but now I'm could thinking it could mean THE Mandalorian. There were also a few instances in the lastest episode where Bo had the chance to take the dark saber from him but didn't, I saw that as her seeing something in him. Maybe she thinks that he could be the leader she thought she was for Mandalore. Lastly, say what you want about his religion/cult, but Din is devoted. Making him the ideal candidate for the one who will lead the Mandalorians... anyhoo that's what I'm thinking post episode 2
She has to win it from him in combat its the Mandalorian way. Sometime in the past she took the dark saber without wining it in combat and it splintered the Mandalorians. She will never make that mistake again.
@0:34 He fell. The weight of his beskar armor caused him to drop straight down to the bottom. Kinda comical actually. Because he took off his jet pack, he couldn’t prevent it. He was also weakened from his blood having been drained by the cyborg-spider creature that had captured him.
This history and story is incredibly interesting. Thanks for providing these details. I'm not sure I'd agree with you that Bo Karan and Din discovered the mythosaur together because Din might have been unconscious and possibly only Bo Karan saw it. Also we've seen no indication at all that Din wants to lead the Mandalorians. He stumbled on the darksaber unknowingly. He just wants the only family he knows to accept him back. Grogu will be pivotal but I'm afraid to think of how.
If you remember in Boba Fett when he Rode the beast. The Tamer (by the way was played by Danny Trejo's Machete) said when the beast wakes up he is bonded to the first person he sees. In this case Bo Katan. GROKU may be able to speak to the beast but the beast will recognize Bo as it's Companion. Along with the Dark Saber Bo should be the new leader of Mandalore.
Din Djarin wasn't pulled under the water by the Mythosaur. He stepped off a ledge into the super deep end of the pool wearing full beskar plate armor and no jet pack. He sank like a stone. All their commotion woke the sleeping Mythosaur. It literally just swims away after they pass it.
Judging by how far out into the cave she found him, it makes little sense that he plummeted straight down and forward somehow (water did not seem to have any current, let alone a strong enough one for that). While it could be just poor cinematography, it's more likely some smaller creature dragged him under, amphibious or aquatic, and when it noticed the Mythosaur it dropped Din. That way he lands out further in the cave, long enough for Bo to take a while to find him, and still has the Mythosaur fast sleep. I agree with the latter half of what you said though.
Your word is your bond ; better to die by the sword than live in chains ; dedication feeds mastery... I somewhat mirrored the Mandalorians' creed in my way of living. I wear a mythosaur's skull that is tattooed on my forearm... Because this is the Way. God, those Mandalorians are badasses.
Well anyway now that the creature is known hopefully no one lets it out that it exists... Everyone's gonna wanna capture or kill that creature,, Pirates and remnants of the empire now all the Mandalorians are gonna have to come together to help protect it
You said “he was violently dragged underwater”by the Mythosaur. I don’t think that was the case. I think he just fell and sunk fast due to the weight of his armor. Although I do agree that would be an excessive speed…. Lol
Little Grogee riding that beast, and force lighting frying an army of clonetroopers, while wherein mandoorlaion armor.... oh yeah back ground music the trooper from Iron maiden, or thunder from ACDC, lol, that is worthy of being in a movie lmfao would love to see that
I can just imagine the Mythosaur wearing Beskar armour that would be absolutely hilarious and very scary at the same time cause it would be very hard to kill with Beskar armour on.
Rivals? Or destined to join together and heal at least one of the schisms between Mandalorean factions? You have the continuity of rule in her, but the continuity of tradition in him, and Grogu brings the power of the Force. \
Hello, I just finished watching a different video said that the Great Mandalorian helmet carved from sternum of Mythosaur. Was the helmet carved from the skull or the sternum?
I have a feeling the way Mando is going, Din is force sensitive and becomes the next Mandalore the Great. Gets a new darksaber. Grogu teaches him some stuff. Or the go the other way and Grogu is a jedi and Mandalorian and leads them
The helmet which Din found in the sand under Mandalore looks more like bone then damaged beskar and could be the helmet passed on for generations to the leader of Mandalore, lost by Canderous Ordo. It could be used to claim the throne by Din or Bo Katan
Yea. Got the impression the steps just ended and Din was caught unaware (once again) and sank like a stone. He did sink really fast though. I mean, Bo dove in a second after his clumsy ass and he was already at the bottom. And… if the jet packs are waterproof, why tf did he take that off and leave the rest of his armor on? I don’t know what I was picturing in my mind, maybe he’d just leave the helmet on 😂 and nothing else. Good thing Bo Katan didn’t hesitate, you just know Din got the bends… or maybe his helmet was pressurized. Is it just me, or is Bo a better fighter than Din?
Timeline might be off but we just saw in the Bad Batch the empire was hunting extraordinary creatures for testing, possibilities they go after this one?
I don't see Djinn Jarin as wanting to rule. I see that characteristic in Bokatan but it's obvious that either one of them or both will become the future rulers... I can't wait to see this play out 😎
That’s what I said din is just a bounty hunter he doesn’t know how to rule or do anything like that and he don’t know much about mandolor he just know stories or whatever but bo katan knows well cause she was their leader
I don't think Din was dragged under. I got the impression that he didn't know there was a dropoff and he got pulled to the bottom by the weight of his armor.
I agree with this 100%. If he had been pulled, he would have been jerked under... he just stepped and there was no step and he sank like a rock.
there are no coincidences in the force.....
I thought dragged at first, but after seeing the immediate drop-off right in front of where he disappeared I'm thinking yea he fell off. Also, How would the MS have grabbed him? Bro, but the second he was sunk, Bo fuckin went to get him. Like 1 second later. And she couldn't fucking get him before he was already at the bottom. And she was also with armor plus the fuckin jetpack. There's no way he just sunk, and for that I mean there's no way Favreou is gonna say "he just felt to the bottom in 1 second"
@@luisochoa7what this dude said
So glad Jon and Dave had Din Djarin find the living waters in the second episode.
I agree
I was a little scared to see the Mythosaur still living beneath the underground city of Mandalore. If that thing gets loose, I'll lose my mind.
I think it'll get loose, and I have a feeling that this season will feature a very good finale featuring a massive battle
That thing is already loose its just chilling in its home and probably won’t be aggressive if its supposed to be the one mandalore the great tamed.
@@adamd5849 I think it might end with Mando or someone taking it hopefully and restoring the civilization of Mandalore to glory
two episodes of this blew the last of us out of the water! i was hyped for that but this is just cherry on top.
Can I introduce you to Chekhov’s mythosaur
Bo-Katan just realized a few things: 1. I went in that water as a CHILD and that thing was down there the entire time??? and 2. The re emergence of the Mythosaur coincides with the re emergence of the Mandalorian people. There is more to Din than I thought, this can't be a coincidence
They likely believed it was extinct so..

but Din didn't see it and the water wasn't so deep before she said it was the bombing that made it so deep.
Glad you can see it at least - as the rest of these "fans" think he got "yanked" under by his own weight.
@@Commanderstevo Mandalore the Uniter.
This
THANK YOU! I've been seeing people say he was dragged under but never saw any evidence of that. I thought he was just weak then there was the drop off.
You think Filoni, et al, thought this through to this level of detail?
Facts!
Ironically I was thinking along the same lines

Completely agree. I think in the end Grogu will be THE Mandalorian.
Yeah screenshot this for sure. It’s a clever theory.
But he's to young
@NorbertusOne He is 50 though.
It’s def arguable but I don’t think that’s what the writers and directors thought of. Def possible tho
Looks to me like it's Bo'Katan who got redeemed the most in that episode and she even went swimming in the pool.
Underrated comment. She has found her faith.
He has often been referred to as a mandalorian foundling. Thus inherently making him mandalorian. It’s plainly stated, so nothing is really misleading
Don’t do that, don’t give me hope
I thought I was crazy for thinking this!!
@@jeremysmith5579 I love the little weird and naughty guy. His beast control def puts him on the voting podium
Din doesn't want to lead the Mandalorians, hence why the darksaber does not respond to him. He doubts himself and was willing to give it to Bo because it means nothing to him.
Also forgetting Gideon was flailing it around pretty well, so does that mean he wants to lead the mandalorians?
Idk. We saw the purrgil in the first few minutes of the first episode. We could possibly see him…
@@williamhuguet8017 I loved seeing that
I think Bo Katan will willingly let Din Djarin lead the new age of Mandalore. I don't know if Grogu will lead the Mandalorians, he can, as Din's successor, but Grogu won't be old enough to lead for a long time which sets him up nicely to rule Mandalore after Din, and then lead the Jedi after that
bro remember me, we will see din riding the mythasour with wielding the darksaber. the true rightful king ( mandalor).
@@danathelittle i cant wait, din is definitely going down the path to be like mandalore the great and bringing the clans together.

Din has shown exactly 0 ambition to be a leader of his people. I think the only reason people are pushing this narrative is because he's the main character of the show (grogu aside)

That episode has to be some of the best Star Wars I’ve ever seen
I really don't think the mythosaur is what dragged din down, I think he reached a ledge in the water and ended up dropping off because of the weight of his armor which took him by surprise and knocked him out. If the mythosaur dragged him down why was it just sitting there to wake up when Bo brought him back up? If it did drag him down why was it not actively awake and saw Bo come down and try to swipe at her? I'm truly hoping that the writers don't forget about the BASILISK WAR DROID! It would the BEST if when the Mandalorians come together due to the raise of the Mythosaur, that they somehow they also trip upon a secret cash of Baskilisk war droids waiting in the depths of the planet.
And find at least one working, Din pilots it and uses it to destroy the Mythosaur! I'm in.
Iv been waiting years for this, I knew they would eventually rediscover one. Boba Fett and the mandalorian culture has always been my favorite faction in star wars. It's a good time to be a star wars superfan
We didn't ride them, we hunted them to extinction
I totally think Grogu is the next Mandalor the Great. Din is his dad and after how he was looking at Bo, I think he wants Bo for mommy!
Grogu is the title character of the Mandalorian. He will lead them riding the mythosaur and wielding the dark saber.
I am so freaking excited about this. The mythosaur is so cool, and I hope they do something great with it. Idk who will be the leader of Mandalore, but I do know they will be riding the beast, whilst welding the dark Saber, and (hopefully, but probably not) wearing the OG Helmet!
He wasn't actually dragged under water.
He just fell and sunk due to his heavy armor. Which is kinda funny.
Also grogu noticed the way she was looking at din with a kind of admiration. Hence why she said “what are you looking at?”
I like the idea that he tripped and his heavy armor dragged him down. You might be right about everything else.
If the Mythosaur doesn't get to the ruins of the city and rampage Zillo-beast style I will be upset
Hard pass. It'll just be killed..... Like the Zillo-beast..
They are Star Wars version of a dragon so it fitting.
I don't see why they would do that. There is nothing to destroy in a rampage. All the destruction would be a waste of money in filming
Absolutely love your content brother. Thank you
I feel like the creature has the ability to eat entire armies and those tusks would make it a challenge for Bo and Din if they fight against it in the next episode

Oh damn, that's a great point about Grogu and the mythasaur! Nice!
He wasn’t dragged he stepped off the edge and the weight of his armor is why he went down so fast. And he dropped his rocket pack before he went in.
"Din's gonna NEED A BIGGER BOAT.... I.. I Mean Ship" -Had to throw in the Jaws reference
He may not be the first one to do so, but I have no doubt that Grogu is going to end up the leader of the new Mandalorians at some point.
he wasnt violently dragged, he sunk like a rock in a suit of heavy armor when the water was no longer shallow
I’m pretty sure he just didn’t expect the sudden drop and just sank from the weight of his armor. And plus the mythosaur woke up when bo swam by it
Can some one point me at the episode where din jaradin(apologies for spelling) mentioned he was interested in leading Mandalore?
I was very certain he was happy to give the dark sabre to Bo katan at the end of season 2
What did I miss?
Well done like always🔥🔥🔥
I'm so excited for Mando Season 3! And Thank the Maker!
What's funny to me is the time when Mando got "dragged" down the water... I mean he looks like he just fell down like not knowing how deep it is🤣🤣🤣
This is my current hypothesis for the direction of the season/show: Din will be the new ruler of the Mandalorians.
She will never make that mistake again.
sorry but being part of a small ultra ortodox cult is not a good start to unite the Mandalorians.
@0:34
He fell.
I agree with the latter half of what you said though.
grogu with mandoloren training and jedi training would be unstoppable, yoda almost was, imagine if yoda had beskar
The Mythosaur preformed the same baptism we saw in episode one in my opinion. It was down there all this time , it most likely saw it all the time.
Grogu rides the beast with adoptive mom Bo and dad Din supporting him.
Lol
Little Grogee riding that beast, and force lighting frying an army of clonetroopers, while wherein mandoorlaion armor.... oh yeah back ground music the trooper from Iron maiden, or thunder from ACDC, lol, that is worthy of being in a movie lmfao would love to see that
The steps ended abruptly, and he is in full plate. He just sank. That is all.
I’m only surprised to learn that so many people didn’t think the Mythosaur would appear in Mando. I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner.
I can just imagine the Mythosaur wearing Beskar armour that would be absolutely hilarious and very scary at the same time cause it would be very hard to kill with Beskar armour on.
My TV in my bedroom was a bit lighter than the one in my living room so I could see a good bit of silhouette swim away
...wait, he wasn't dragged down into the water, he fell off a ledge he couldn't see.
Boba riding the Rancor is a wink and a nod to Boba riding the Rancor in the holiday special or Droids.
Be interesting to see them both become the leaders together
I did in fact expect mythosaur. I however don't expect, but would be grateful to see, a basilisk wardroid.
Grogu riding a mythosaur would be sick
I also think, that it's not Din, who's reffered "The Mandalorian" to, it's actually Grogu, as he will become the next mandalorian ruler.
Is it just me, or is Bo a better fighter than Din?
if you look closely he was not dragged under, but instead stepped off the ledge in heavy armor.
In addition to Din not being pulled down, but rather fell into a chasm, only Bo saw the mythosaur.
The Mythosaur is the Unobtainium of Star Wars…😂 Great video. Thanks!
