Not much to it, just taking a ride through a fairly open road at the massive, 90 mph speed bike this is lol. Like, comment and subscribe if you enjoyed the video
I just bought a new one, I travel 44 miles a day to work, shopping , coffee shop etc... and dont bother me a bit, .... has a carb, easy to work on, and for the gas savings, It pays its own payments plus most of the phone bill,, Its perfect for a beginner and will put you 6ft under like any other murdercycle, but this bike has one feature that most bikes dont have that makes it safe,, its under powered yet reaches a good speed to get somewhere...
@user-pj2zw9uy5b if anything stay alert and do hybrid driving, if you have to drive aggressive do it, same for defensive, do it. getting out of situations isn’t always about power, swerving and braking is also a viable option depending on your circumstance.
I have a 2020 V-star 250. I didn't like the mirrors it came with. I couldn't see behind very well. I see you have the same mirrors. I put mirrors off a 2007 Virago on it. So much better. I also changed the front sprocket to a 17 tooth. Now cruising at 70 mph it doesn't scream at me. I love the bike. I'm 69 & take my grand kids for rides all the time. I put a sissy bar on the bike so they don't slide off the back.
I just bought a 2003 v star 250 , 2,500 miles on it , I want to have the same handle bar set as this this guy has what do I need to do to achieve this 🤔🤔🤔 what parts & accessories do I need from please help
It is not a mod. This is how new Yamaha V Star 250 looks like. So I think if you order a new handle bar you will get exactly as the same one as on video
I just got a 2014 V Star. It's in pretty rough shape but it runs. I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. It's my first motorcycle and it was practically free so I really want it to work, but I've hit a wall called relatives. It's difficult to explain, but needless to say I have a feeling that people are going to get in the way on purpose. It's frustrating.
To be completely honest I would put mods on a 250 since they’re starter bikes and you can make so much power. But on one of my videos in the comments there are comments on what you can get done to your bike if you choose to do so. But if it’s something you wanna do definitely do it!
I have the 2019 V star 250 and have done a few mods, the first and best one to do is changing the front and rear sprockets, it improves top speed and MPG .
@@raritymotovlogs900 It may depend on location but personally I get the best mpg and top speed from Chevron gas. 80'ish mph and the same in mpg, my weight is 240 - 250'ish
@Grover I use any shell or chevron for my bike since I use them with my car also and I’m usually able to go over 80 if I’m pushing the bike to it’s absolute limit. (Not good for the bike tho)

I hope everything goes positive for that situation!
What's happened so far?
I am going to buy one soon. Normally how fast can one go before its time to shift up to 2nd? Is the top speed around 70 MPH?
normally first gear will get you to 20 mph. and depending on the rider i got it to 90 mph which basically maxed out the speedo
@@raritymotovlogs900 Thanks kindly for that info
Nice pickup, slight mods ? Love the stock exhaust still on , keep that reliable oem power 💪🏽
Everything’s stock. I didn’t see a reason to mod a 250 lol
@@raritymotovlogs900 why i dont get it
@@raritymotovlogs900 A jet-kit, air pods and some after market pipes and that thing will run/sound like a beast.
@@Heroesworkshop please tell me what the jet kit to use. At this point I would like to change air pod but don't know about which jet-kit to use.
@@grover2727 I can try to find that info for you but from what I read in a different video it’s 1-2 sizes bigger in both the spots where the jets fit.
What type of set up is your handle bars ??
genuinely I have no Idea. I don’t know what kind of handlebars there are tbh
Nice trip up PCH in HB!
