Yes and no. The translation is correct but it's Sumeran script, not Abyssal or Khaenri'ahn script.
Every time Dain shows up in the story, it's like he might as well be saying "Hey. I'm here to sucker punch you in the emotions again."
Caribert's hair and eyes being the same color as Kaeya's fits like a glove
Not to mention his hair is a similar style just flipped sides on his face, and the earring on the left ear.

The story was so heartbreaking.
Meeting Abyss Aether and forgetting it, Caribert’s whole (un-)life, Atossa being in love with a crafted memory, Dainsleif having to fight his old friend now turned enemy. Who knew even lullabying hilichurls would be so emotional.
There is a philosophical belief that what makes us exist is the memories others have of us. I believe that person truly dies when no one no longer remembers them. But, the important part isn't that we are remembered forever, but it is the people who we want to remember us when we are gone. And one day, when those people no longer remember, it is time for us to truly be gone from this world.
This is how some of us believe that while the fictional characters aren't technically real, they exist withing our memories, so to us, they do exist. And that is how art can also become beautiful thing no matter what form it takes.
While Caribert may be a fictional character, the memory that we have of him is what makes him truly exist.

I think everyone is agreeing when saying "Are you kidding me" when we find out that nothing will be remembered.
It definitely is dumb for them to do that. As if we remember that it further gives us motivation to finish the journey and see what the sibling saw.
I can also say after seeing the interaction both as Male MC and Female MC, that I think Male MC with Lumine as the sibling does hit a bit harder. Much more so at the "I would hug you too" line. And ESPECIALLY after seeing the whole animation thing they did showcasing how badly each sibling miss one another.
Not really much difference but just the voice acting alone felt stronger in a way.

If anyone remembers that quest where we see our siblings memory at the end we dig up two bodies and one has a scarf around their wrist just like Caribert. So I think Clotar is still alive and the body next to the woman's body is his (Caribert) that's why the scarf is still on his body
The other dead body was confirmed to be clothar, and it was an adult man
Caribert however died at 8 years old, a child. Clothar was also the one to tie the silk scarf around caribert’s wrist
He probably just took the scarf from his body and kept it

That story quest was very sweet. It kinda sucks that the siblings will NEVER remember this reconciliation. I don’t know why the writers went this way. It’s like saying something then retconing it two seconds later lol.
Throws the audience a bone while also delivering important world mechanics information despite it being too early for an actual reunion. This time, the player is the sole witness, rather than the Traveler being included in that.
I think it's because "The Sea of Flowers at the End" is a huge reveal of some kind. Our character seemed to have a revelation of what going to that particular place with the flowers there in full-bloom actually means.
I don't think the flowers are Inteyvats unless this place is in Khaenri'ah specifically, but who knows.
(Perhaps it's the meadow of flowers that we see in Luocha's trailer from Honkai Star Rail)
