- She was 29 when we sat down for this interview to promote the film,The Bodyguard. She was sweet and a little late to the interview I recall. She was really on a roll at this point. One of the biggest music stars in the world. The pressure was great...In 2008 she's 44 we keep hearing she's on the way back. I hope so..what a talent! The price of fame and fortune can be very high and not everyone can deal with it Whitney was one of the purest voices ever when she was at her prime.

I was gonna say the same thing.
She looks so full-faced and happy here! Motherhood was obviously a great source of joy to her, as it is for so many. As much as The Bodyguard helped to supercharge her career, it seemed to take a toll on her personally because even just 4 or 5 years later she seemed a very different person. That peaceful joy vibe she has here had gone, she seemed physically and emotionally Jaded. Post '00 I don't really want to think about because it was just so sad how quickly and severly she deteriorated right before our eyes. I hope she is at peace now, happy, glowing and radient just like she was here. 😍

here she was exactly how her speaking voice was. from 1985 - all the way thru till this point. just extremely likeable. loveable. Articulate, this interview was one of the last few moments.cause by 1995 interviews there was a HUGEEEE difference in how she spoke. I believe she was dealing with hell at home with bobby. after bobbys career ended in 1993 he became a flop. and was nothing but a nuicense, get arrested for drunk driving, 32 times. smashing Whitneys porch given to her by Warner brothers. her ex assistant Robyn Crawford mentions all this in the book
