I really do blame Clive Davis for holding her to her contract like Colonel Parker did with Elvis. Poor girl wanted to retire after she sang the Star-Spangled Banner. And yet she was pulled back into the grind because Clive said there was more to go. I think if she had to go on she should’ve retired after the bodyguard tour so she could live her life with Bobby start her new family and figure out who she was as a person.
