The last Dark Archon gets nuked by a shapeshifter Hybrid. These are indeed dark times... It seems like the unit was removed to prevent the mind control on hybrids.
They could have just simply disabled the Mind Control ability in the editor if they didn't want the player to have the ability to MC Hybrids or include a Trigger that if the player owns a Hybrid unit, set the unit's owner to the AI. It'd stagger the Hybrid unit (they'd have to retarget with the control double swap) but you'd never control the hybrid but any other unit would be free game to control.
@@ExecutorNral I mean the lack of a DA hero unit in Broodwar (or any expansion unit getting a Hero version) meant they were distinctly short of named heroes they could do the DRAMATIC BETRAYAL!!! while ensuring the enemy didn't have Hybrid units the same unless you had a Mojo rename or something like that. But this feels just like kicking you while you're down with how bullshit this campaign is.
@@Zelinkokitsune My guess is that they thought Maelstrom and Feedback were also too OP against Hybrid. It still doesn’t make sense imo, yeah. Because first of all, Dark Archon merging isn’t so complicated that you’d suddenly lose the power to make them compared to the Dragoon.
@@ThisIsntAUA-camr Not like he's giving the Hybrids enough bullshit with them presumably spawning in with full energy and for free in crazy numbers. And you can't even nuke walk in like he did with the Terran campaign.
Something I'm just now appreciating about this story vs SC2: Kerrigan was set up to be this big bad after Brood War, and she's immediately a lesser threat than the hybrids. No prophecy shit about how only she can save us, but she doesn't even get to be queen bitch of the universe anymore.
I discovered this very late but this Dark Spectre is probably Jack, within a Protoss/Zerg hybrid body. Though this isn't a confirmed info, I found that one of his triggers in the editor is called Jack. Also I wonder if his voice sounds familiar to you guys.
I bet despite killing Jack, it was the only animation the campaign maker could use to show a "change" in him in SC1. Like how Duran blew up Stukov when he "pacified" him in the Zerg campaign.
Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate: Empire Wars… Due to all the failures and losses he's suffered, Stukov went on exile to hunt for Raszagal and her Gestalts. However, after months of fruitless searching, she returned to Braxis to recuperate, only to find it's still in need of recovery. He meets up with a Commander and they rally scattered survivors from the aftermath of DuGalle's capture. Upon seizing a base, he is met by the Valkyrie pilot Captain Ansel, who had thought Stukov dead alongside DuGalle. She and her men have been holding off a bizarre Protoss-Terran coalition. A UED Agent named Tanya arrives to bring more dire news of more fallen bases. The presence of Zerg (Nidhogg's new Brood, split off from the still-loyal-to-Draugr-Brood Broodmother) among this coalition also bears even more ill news. Unlike in the Empire Wars timeline, there are no lost Valkyrie schematics, but Ansel dies all the same to a Nuclear Strike courtesy of "Tanya", who is actually a Gestalt spy named Colomar. "She", actually he, taunts Stukov that their plans are already in motion before disappearing. Stukov then gathers everyone he can to depart from Braxis.

So if Vanilla starcraft is about mastering the races and Brood War is about mastering more advanced tactics and the new units, this campaign is about using or fighting mixed race armies and bases
What do you mean by this version of SC? Are you referring this campaign or remastered? If its remastered you simply buy and download it from battle net. I don't know if pirated version exist.
Zerg, Protoss and Terrans fighting side by side, like brothers. Maybe the Dark Lord and the hybrids are the good guys-

@Zelinkokitsune The second would be the best choice. But now this campaign will be a nightmare without the Dark Archons.

Duran's finances must have recovered since he can afford mercs again.
I think those are Jack's troops.

Would make sense given how in the previous mission Amon says he's Jack's "new master" despite killing him... and his name.
Maybe he was reincarnated somehow. Cerebrates could do that appearently.

@@lhfirex Yeah, I get that. It checks out.
DAJKC'KRA -> DARK'JACK
Welp, I will wait for AI voices to be done and then I will blitz through these campaigns
Dark Spectere? The villain from Power Rangers: In Space who kidnapped Zordon? He's in on this too?!
RASTADON/IMRIAN is a character in the Vile Egression campaign, a mod for version 1.16.1.
we will cleanse creation of the scourge that is hybrid, and when we are finished the tragic mistake of Amon will be gone!

If i had a nickel for everytime a colomar is being a nuisance, i would've had two
Which is weird that it happened twice
I just picked a name fitting a spy, and I thought of Sombra, lol
Agent Tanya, fitting.

Raszagal's death effecting DAs is so silly.
It's LotV but more grimdark. Nice to see Zeratul again.
Damn, the 1st mission of the OP race and they already have amogus.
Truely a dark time.
Terrans & Hybrids?Impossible!
zerg again and hybrids on Shakuras and dark archons gone...IMPOSSIBLE
awesome
ammon is a real bad guy
The Terrans who are being mind controlled by the Hybrids are Moebius Corps.
Not in that timeline. It's implied to be some of Sigma Squadron that were converted by Duran's Master
Imagine if Zera and new dark templar mixed into dark archon.
So if Vanilla starcraft is about mastering the races and Brood War is about mastering more advanced tactics and the new units, this campaign is about using or fighting mixed race armies and bases
I heard of Aldaris voice.
Yeah, he's the narrator in this campaign series.
You either die a villain, or live long enough to become a narrator.
Fanmade Legacy of the Void in budget.
Zeratul hearing a nuke has just launch, what is the meaning of this.
And that was one of the few easy Protoss build missions, most of the rest are pure bullshit in turms of difficulty🗿 If only Protoss had nukes...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I want a video explains how can i download this version of sc , i tried a lot without benefits
