    You are amazing with scads and scads of info I a 81 with life long love of hands. I also went to school to become nail tech. I soaked my hands in bowl of warm water and olive oil. Peeps tell I still have great hands Oils, exfoliating, lotions help them retain younger looking. I do wear color nail polish in an orange/red tone....perfect for my skin tone. Blue tones make hands look awful. Thanks for all your videos

    I'm re-watching this video, because I really needed to refresh your technique on caring and antiageing our hands. My hand are not, and never have been pretty or young looking; they are bony, vein, knuckley, and now , with age, arthritic, so they need and deserve all the care and pampering possible. They are good hands, serve me well and I love them! Thank you, Tammy. Love and blessings!

    Beautiful Tammy, fantastic hairdo and makeup. Thanks for sharing your time with us, It is so good to see your smile. Great tips! I use half of a lime to get rid of any stain on my nails by putting the lime juice into the warm water, saving the lime half peel, after soaking I massage each nail with it using the skin of the fruit to push the cuticle back!

    Wow! I usually do a paste with baking soda, coconut oil and lemon juice to whiten nails. I don't think other than doing my face scrub on my hands I've ever done a scrub on my hands. I do use my coconut oil or olive oil on my cuticles but I've never done it like a mask and I've never used grape seed oil. I will be trying this! You know I like my at home beauty regimes. Thank you so much for this video!! This was right up my alley!!

    Another great video! I pretty much follow this regime but go up to my elbows but to cover all that skin I used over sized oven mitts to stick my hot towel covered hands into. The mitts are the kind that one would use for the BBQ - they're big enough to slide right into and really help insulate the heat. And every night, before bed, a nice oil lathered on the hands is helpful.
    Also, we need to wear sun protection on our mitts to prevent sun spots.
    Hope your vert-ewww-gooo's away soon!!

    I use a mix of Grapeseed oil and Castor oil to remove my eye makeup. Not only has it nourished my eyelids, but the Castor oil has really conditioned my eyelashes. I also add a little Sweet Almond oil on occasion as well. There's no eye makeup that won't come off with this concoction! XD

    • @AnastaciaBurns
      @AnastaciaBurns 8 років тому +2

      No, I just happened to be running out of grapeseed oil and added the Castor oil to it so I really didn't measure. I would say it's probably about 70% Castor and 30% Grapeseed. When I mix it again, I'm going to do 50/50. Grapeseed is a little thin and Castor can be a little thick. (almost baby oil-like) At 50/50 it should take off makeup great, condition my eyelashes and help with anti aging. You might want to have fun with other oils though. I've heard really good things about avocado oil too. Have fun!

    • @AnastaciaBurns
      @AnastaciaBurns 8 років тому

      If you find it's too thick because of the Castor oil, just use more of the Grapeseed. :)

    I started taking two heaping tablespoons of Diatomaceous earth every day about a year ago. Not only have my nails gotten so much healthier and reduced dramatically the ridges that had shown up but my teeth have been getting stronger and chips have smoothed out and filled in. I also am on an anti-inflamitory regime that includes green juicing and smoothies, avoiding sugar, GMO's and gluten. My health has been getting better and better.

    Nice video for inspiring women to take care of their aging hands. Daily, while I am on my computer & while doing my exercises, I moisturize my hands with a 'HOMEMADE BODY BUTTER containing shea butter, coconut oil, infused Calendula, Plantain and Comfrey oils. I then put on PLASTIC SURGICAL GLOVES. They fit snugly so I can type. I keep them on for a few hours while doing my early morning routine. Works great keeping them moisturized & helps with age spots.
