Thanks for always touching on a subject that a lot woman won't. And you always do so with grace and class
That's the beauty of YT...We find all kinds of friends that are going through the same things....I also believe by adding humor...well, it just makes it easier to go through!!
I have shaved my face and upper lip for years. And I can let you know that I have not grown a "man" beard either. So all you ladies that are wondering, this works great!
You are such a delightful woman, and I admire that you're not afraid to voice your opinions! Plus your information is always spot-on. I may not be able to afford all the luxurious products that you discuss, but every once in a while I splurge on your suggestions and am always pleased! God bless you and I hope you have a blessed Easter.
Oh my goodness, thank you! I have been wondering about how to use one of these blades. SO HELPFUL!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! At 56 I suffer from the peach fuzz and was terrified to have it waxed or use a Nair type product. I found similar long blade razors at Sally's and I took the plunge. It was easy and I am so satisfied with the result!
You are such a breath of fresh air! I've only just recently found your channel, but as a 40 year old woman I truly appreciate the voice, maturity, and intelligence you bring to youtube. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I've been so depressed about my facial hair since menopause! It's so nice to know that this old gal is not alone & to know how to resolve the problem. Thank you so much Tammy!
With old age, I kind of have grown less hairy, even in the face, except for some stray dark hairs that grow randomly and need to be plucked out. Your face always looks amazing and your complexion is flawless. I'm so happy I found you! Thank you so much for all this great tips and tutorials you share with us, your peeps. Mua!
Thank you Maria....I am so happy you are one of my UA-cam friends!!
OMG I couldn't quit laughing with you when you talked about a 5 o'clock shadow. LOL I have heavy peach fuzz on the sides but have been afraid to shave thinking it would grow to dark hair. But I am going to do this.
Thank you so much...so happy to have you here with us!
Thank you so much...Happy to have you here with us!
You have become one of my favorite youtubers!! Paving the way with such useful info for us hitting ( a certain age) ! And to top it off you are so adorable!! Bisous!
This is so kind of you...THANK YOU so much!
also............simply gorgeous complexion! bone structure too. nationality ____________________? uppiesbeads59
uppiesbeads59 angiestar803 ...........yes! I saw a girl (we were very young) 35 or so. she stopped removing her facial hair, (don't know what method she used) but wow! she was blond but stronger. stronger everything. I hope not, because i wax. my mom had long long hairs the caregivers 'didn't see' when i had to leave her. yet nothing on her legs?! maybe due to the poisons they put into her. anyway..............hasn't seemed to affect me yet but i do like a fuz free face. very very much. i'm 60! you've go to go sometime! so many things i did not do because of some reason or other............don't know if those were my best choices.
Great video! It is important to note this is specifically for post-menopausal women, and she said she was post-menopausal many times. I never had any facial hair until menopause either so this video is perfect for me and other women like me. She also said several times that this was for removing facial hair that is the result of aging/menopause, and that other types of facial hair could need a different method of removal. My best suggestion is that everyone, regardless of age, should do additional research before you try any new grooming method. This was not the first video I have seen on this subject, but it is the best. I look forward to more of her tutorials.
You are all worth it Patricia...You bring such JOY to me without even knowing it...HUGS...and thank you so much!
This is so sweet and kind....thank you so much for spending time with me...I am so happy you are here with us!
I'm one of those Italian women you were speaking about..and gosh it annoys me almost more than anything else. I've been using this technique for many, many years...and ridding your face of that peach fuzz does indeed make your makeup go on much better. All the best to you Tammy..keep the videos coming..they are EVERYTHING to me gf.
Thank you for sharing this video! I have always had peach fuzz even in my 20's but it has become thicker with age. I found the 3 pack Tinkle razor on Amazon. So glad I can finally feel my smooth skin. It feels so nice. I do have some forehead hairs, but shaved part of my eyebrow off. LOL So I will have to find a way to cover my eyebrows so I do not do that again. I wonder if tape will work? Any suggestions?
Not only are you amazing with your answers to all of our questions, but you also are a teacher for me. You always teach me something new and give me the best advice, thank you again Miss Tammy! xo
Once again your video saved me. I just started seeing hair on face at 61 and had no idea what to do. Like you said I started waxing around my lip but did not even know what to do around my cheeks and jaw. Can't wait to do this and get rid of fuzz. I really appreciate that you demonstrate what to do. It really gives me hope and courage to try it on my own.
the long blade razor you can find it in Sally.
I live in Fl. it seems as though many people do not know about "threading" easy breezy cover girl, the hair does NOT grow back thick, it creates an unbelievable smooth canvas, it's much kinder than waxing! I too am post menapausal and literally had "monkey hair" on my face . Threading is the best way to go ,my dermatologist also recommends it!
Hi Janet. I thought threading was just for brows. So it can be done on the face in general? Thanks.
Hey Angela,
Yes the whole face :) Not only will you're products go on smoothly, you use less product !!!
Awesome. I'm in Pompano Beach, FL so and I know there is a threading studio near by so I'm going to try it. Thanks for your input!
Great Angela, You will be hooked. Try to find some one of middle eastern descent. They grow up using "thread" the way we use tweezers! They really are the best at that technique!!!
Thank you so very much...I am so happy you are here with us!!
I like to hear and see honest videos.... and this is one of them!!! Thanks for showing another alternative to the expensive and painful ways to get rid of those dreaded hairs!!!
Hi, Beautiful Tammy. I'm reviewing this video again, after a year that I commented on it, because Ive decided to try shaving my peach fuzz. Every night, when I'm doing my night skincare routine in front of my magnifying mirror (don't really know how many times it magnifies, never ocurred to check, but this is another new, useful thing I've learned watching your videos) that I have this peach fuzz, mostly white (I dye my hair, no secret), and it's starting to bother me because it sticks out with the creams, lotions and potions) ; besides, your absolutely stunning, so if it's wworked for you, I'm almost certain that it will work for me. Regarding the few, very few (actually four = 4) those I will continue to pluck out whenever they show their ugly, white or black faces. Than you Tammy. Ignore the know-it-all, the haters, the scared-of-their-own-shadows, and the plain green-with-envy...so happy you're back and I found you. Love and blessings, 😍😍
YOU are fabulous to share this with us! And I agree .... this is the way to roll! I find the razors on Amazon. You are just too funny!
Wow, Tammy! You amaze me every time! A lot of women suffer from this phenomenon, but somehow when you view it from your perspective - the mountain does not seem so high!!
In particular, when you add your unique sense of humor ... You make me feel good about myself and certainly I'm not alone ... we all owe you a huge thank you, darling!
You're a real pretty! Inside and out! I love you!
Nice to have you back!!
Women do have testosterone, just in a mush lesser amount than men, so you have the right idea, but we do have testosterone and men do have estrogen just in much smaller amounts than women.
If your peach fuzz is blonde then laser doesn't work, it only works on dark hair. Hair doesn't grow back darker or coarser if you shave, think about it how would the hair underneath know what is done after it is growing outside your face, that would be like saying that when you cut your hair on your head it would grow back thicker and darker. It SEEMS like it because you have cut the hair across and so it feels prickly. Anyway, this is a good video, and it is not for everyone, but particularly for the fine fuzzy hair I think it is a great idea. However on a young girl that blonde peach fuzz can look quite sweet.
+testtube43 You are WRONG!! The hair on my face HAS gotten darker after shaving. POINT. BLANK. PERIOD. Don't tell me it is a wives tale, as it happened to me! I know "they" say it doesn't, but it CAN.
Medically impossible, but I respect your comment.
Thanks for this video Tammy, I'm desperate because I never had facial hair but with hormonal treatments for cancer....a disaster!!!! I ordered the Tinkle on Amazon, I can't wait to try it....here in Italy none talks about peach fuzz, maybe doing waxing...boh!!!! I take this opportunity also to wish you Happy New Year, and a lot of serenity....shame you're so far away 💓💓💓
I just fount you thank you thank you I love you. I am 63 and do a lot of things like you do it so nice to see not a 16 or 18 year old tell me how to take care of my skin or makeup, thank you and keep doing what you do. Pamela
Lol love when that little Cuban lady pays a visit! ;)
+Jennifer L LOL..
I used to do it in my legs and yes I became worst. I imagine in my face. Not everybody can do that. I had to do laser diodo on my legs to at least show my legs on skirts. So everybody has a different experience. There's no wright or wrong! We're not here joking to each other! Be acceptant of others experiences, girls...
i love the little french accent you do tammy...it makes me smile! you're so sweet. i have learned so much by watching video's on youtube. i sure wish it were around when i was young and at my best!! still, it helps an aging middle ages gal like me. i always tell my husband that makeup is a girls best friend! (not diamonds...) some of us can pass w/out it, but in my opinion it makes every girl look better!!
I just started doing this . I absolutely love the way my skin feels . Thank you for the video.
Apart from the wacky borderline personality disorder I love you lol! 🌺 x
I have no personality disorder...
No you just have a wonderful, fun personality!!!!
😍
Seriously, what about our necks. I have peach fuzz there. Menopause is of the devil & I have more hair now than ever!!
Thanks
and thinning on the head for some

Hi Tammy, Don’t ever change, love your vids so much...
You are amazing! Always wondered what those razors were for... I’m behind in the game! 💕
Oh my. I found this and watched it once at 4:30 am and again now. Thank you thank you for your vulnerability and help. I am so thankful for your time and help!
Just started watching you...LOVE, LOVE you!! Love the tips you give...and the cute accent is just lovely...
Thank you your videos are so helpful. I am 56 and struggling with some awful menopause effects. It's reassuring seeing other women coping with it all and sharing ideas, thank you. Keep up the good work
What a great personality ...you have. Honest and brave. Your instructional video is like you are right in the room with step by step procedures. The inserts of your personal experience are priceless.

Hello gorgeous! I have watched you since you first started making videos. I used to upload under the name MsSparkleArkle. So funny that here I am now 43 years old researching ways to remove peach fuzz from menopause and BAM I find crazy miss Tammy doing exactly that! So glad you are still here. Love you to bits. 💋 Karyn from Melbourne
I found your channel when beautiful Lisa mentioned you in one of her fun hauls. Im 35 and have learned so much from you. Thanks for sharing your wonderful knowledge! :)
Great tip, and I love your fun personality. Thank you for doing a demo on this!
You kill me, I love your humor!! lol Thank you for the chuckle...
Thanks Beth...Happy Sunday to you!!
I just ordered the pastel colored razors from Amazon - will be trying this weekend!! Thanks for sharing your tips.
Thank you...so happy you are here!
Yes it is also very good as an exfoliator! Thanks so much!
Thank you for showing this! I use the same type of razors and love how my skin looks afterward. My makeup looks so much better, too, when applied on smooth skin. Thanks for showing the steps and de-mystifying this technique, Tammy!!!
Well I finally tried this- and I love the smooth clean face look. Thank you miss Tammy!
Hi--love your videos--so great to find someone over 50 providing beauty and health videos. I found this blades at Sally's (behind the counter). While I don't have a lot of facial hair--very little actually and it's quite blond--you're right about the exfoliation aspect of this tool. Wow---I have oily skin and I could believe the dead skin that was removed and exfoliate weekly! Thanks again. Take care.
Thanks Tammy! I'm buying razors tomorrow. You are an amazing person with so much great info. I love the videos
I love this. Have always wondered what to do about that. I try to stay away from powders for that reason. I'm new to your channel and I am enjoying your videos and I am learning so much. Thank you for sharing, Angie 💜
Wow....you're a brave woman. I've used a razor on my face a few times, loved the result but never told anyone. Brave woman for not only telling us but showing us. Thanks Tammy! xoxo
I have been waxing my underarms for years...I hardly EVER have to do it anymore...and I LOVE it...I wish laser was a way most women could go...thanks so much for sharing with us!
thankyou ,as a more mature viewer, you are the only beauty guru who adresses the issues that concern us
Thank you...so happy to have you here with us....
hello my dear, you fixed me on with this video...i was looking and i got they same like you used.... and i did it ;-) thank so much for this idea, i am now 56 and the facia hair comes to me as visitors... big hug and bussi from vienna
Thanks Tammy I really appreciate you having the balls to do this video!
You are amazing! I loved this! I've been shaving my face for years, but have not talked about it much because other women think me insane. btw - my dermatologist showed me how years ago. Lovely job woman!
Thanks so much for doing this video, Tammy! I have the same facial hair on the sides, blonde, but I can see them in the light. I bought some of these razors and never used them, so now I'm going upstairs and using one! Thanks for sharing all of your great tips as usual!!
I don't know how I missed this video. Thanks so much. You don't know how much your videos have helped me. Regards, Janice
I have not had this done...only recently have these types of establishments starting opening up in my area...mostly in the malls....It is an old technique that has been used for years...if it works for you..GREAT...skin will always tell you what it likes and doesn't...Thanks so much!
Yay...TY this is a great tutorial. I've only found 2 people on YT that I really like for the absolute, honesty,(some would say painfully honest...but my mother was like that and I love it...it helps), about everything and your 1 of them. I don't have much hair but I did hormone shot's when I was 20 for a year,(Lupron-Depo), for treatment of endometriosis....made my eye's which were 20/10 go bad and I started bone loss and about 4 thick, long dark hair's started growing on my chin. Like mirror's they are in the same spot on both side's of my chin and then a few year's ago they must have mated and each has a baby hair,(because it is thinner then their parent's and shorter but it's an offspring), as ugly as their parents. ;( I have just plucked them since there is only the now total of 6 and have been wanting to try shaving my face for the little, little fuzz I have, to try it for makeup but didn't really know which avenue to take,(with so many options out there). This vid. totally gave me my answer, technique and avenue of which I want to try. Ya, know I had always been told by my dad that the reason men stay younger looking then women in the face...(beside the fact that the women handle way more stress, etc.-love my dad is a true human equality guy), was because men do daily exfoliating because of shaving. Wonderful....thank you for preaching the message. Woooooooooo Hoooooooo! Thanks again for the vid's. Cheers :)
I can't wait to try the little razor! I was always nervous to do it and not sure exactly how to do it. At 53 I'm losing hair where I want it and growing hair where I don't!!!
Wow Tammy thank you. I have always stayed well away from razors because of all the hype that you shouldn't use a razor on your face but I trust you so much I am going to do this. I have used a cream but because of all the years I have been on an asthma steroid inhaler my skin is quite thin and sensitive. I really really think this will work and be best for me so thanks once again Tammy for taking the time to share this with your appreciative peeps xx
Yes she did...She did anything for beauty....Thanks so much!
Thank you so much, Tammy. I have tried everything I could afford and I have either been allergic or disappointed with the result. As I consider myself the "google queen", I will search until I find those great razors. You are absolutely great. When I get to know you a little better, I want to send you a thank you something or other. I have a lot of subscriptions on youtube and I can tell, and appreciate when someone is sharing their gift with such love. Hugs
so glad to find this! I will be trying this later this weekend.
Thank you for this video. I've been thinking about this for a long time. I didn't realize that this was so common. Tried it last night and LOVE IT!
I have been using the little battery operated trimmer for years, I have used a little razor similar to yours and love the results. A clean shave does wonders for makeup application and does make the makeup look funny. Thanks for sharing !
Your videos are so good Tammy! Very informative! Thank you for them. I now am on the hunt for the "razor" for the peach fuzz/exfoliation. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the video. I just received three razors from Shiseido and wasn't sure how to use it. Wish me luck...I'll give it a shot in the morning! By the way I love your spirited attitude!
Thanks for sharing...YES...I love knowing if things are working for you!
Hey Tammy just want to say thank you so much. I also have that peach fuzz. I remember watching housewives of NJ and one of them mentioned that she shaves her face. I freaked. But watching you today opened my eyes it is possible with the proper tools. So I was thrilled to watch you. Your amazing!! I will check it out....Bisous
ah-nnoy-ing!! you're so right, hair in places where we don't want it... i love you for showing this!
Usually in the shaving or BEAUTY tools ( eyebrow grooming area)...section.....That is why I did this...the cost or irritation many women can't afford or their skin is just to sensitive....GOLD JERRY...LOVE THIS!!
You, are so,so full of knowledge I love to watch your videos. Please, please don’t ever stop your friend from Timmins Ontario, Canada 💕🦋
Whoopeeeee i am fuzz free, i was really nervous but i am really happy. I do have a little sore patch on my chin but for first go i am really happy. Can't wait to try my foundation in the morning. Thanks a million gorgeous! Kerry
Thank you....I hope you find some good ones!!
Thank you so much...so sweet of you!
Thank you Miss Tammy. I finally found your video. Unfortunately my facial hair is not just peach fuzz and is darker of course but I have started shaving with a disposable two blade razor but will try this method now.
Very informative. Thank you!! Your videos always bring a smile to my face.
So glad i found you, im new to u tube, going thru menopause and really disliking myself so this really helped me...u r the best..
So easy and will make such a difference when applying makeup and powders...
I have no words to tell you how timely this video is! Just yesterday I went for a lazer consultation. As the procedure was being explained to me... she lost me at hello... meaning, the minute she said shave my hair first, I wanted to run. Thanks for putting up this video it was a huge help to me.
Thank you! I was wondering if this was an issue just for me since I have not seen anyone talk about the peach fuzz I have gotten since menopause. I'm so happy you put this up1
I am 66. I have shaved my face since I was in my early 30s. It has been - no doubt - a huge benefit to my skin. And yes - I get the wide-eyed-women, gasping and (STILL) telling me I will grow a beard (and waiting...). Enjoying your channel (which I recently found) Thanks for the great grooming and heath stuff... AND you are fun!
My 80 yr old grandmother has been shaving for eons. I am sure I will be using your method in the next few years. Thanks for the tips. I do use those little razors under my brow bone every no and then. Enjoy your weekend. It is snowing in my neck of the woods too!
~Sandra
You are so adorable. Thanks so much for making these videos for us midlife ladies. Just figured out how to leave a comment or would have told you earlier. Would love to see a close up video on how you apply your eye makeup to give a "lifted" look.
CMT, Thank you for being so honest and are so secure in yourself to be so honest. The hair on my face drives me crazy. I am going to hunt down those little razors. I've never seen them. If you can recall where you got the longer-bladed ones, would you post it, please? You are one classy dame.
Your skin looks particularly good in this video! Great video as always!! :)
Yes it does make it smoother...
I'm 63, just found your video about 2, month ago, enjoy watching and sure learn a lot, I try my best to take care my skin, but don't have time to do so, now I'm retired hope is not to late to start, and will continue learn from your video. Thank you.
