- Osprey released the original Daylite backpack many years ago and it quickly became a hit due to it's small size, great quality and thoughtful design. The series has grown to now include 3 daypacks, as well as a waist pack and sling. In this video John breaks down the differences between all the models in this series.

Unfortunately due to vendor agreements, we cannot ship these internationally.
Thanks, I didn’t know about the travel model. Makes choosing one even tougher.
Thanks!! I was wondering what was the difference! Thanks again!
thank you for this!! it was the only video I have thus far found which looks at the Daylite Travel giving the viewr the ability to see how it looks with stuff in it. By the way is this the 2019 version?
Thanks Pierre, glad it was helpful. Yes, these are all 2019 versions shown.
@@OutdoorsOriented how many liters are those???
Do you have a video of actually attaching the Daylite to a pack like the Rook? I have a Rook and ordered a Daylite to attach but so far, the only videos I see say use these hooks to attach and that is that.
Does the daylite travel have a “port” for the hydration bladder hose?
No it doesn't, you'd have to just have it come out through the zipper.
Thanks for the great comparison.
Can the Daylite Travel attach to the Aether or older model Argon 85 please?
Cheers
The current model Aether and Ariel do allow it to attach to them on the backside. I'm not sure on the older Argon's though, they would need the little loops for the tabs to fasten to.
Am I the only one who thinks the little "tabs" that hold the Daylite to a Porter or other pack are a serious pain? Time consuming is a very kind way to describe them. I purchased small carabiners to slip through the loops the tabs are affixed to and simply clip them to the loops on my Porter. 10 seconds and it's on versus multiple minutes for the stupid tabs.......
Can the Daylite plus clipped front kangaroo style with Farpoint trek like the Daylite Travel?
No, it can't.
What color are these
Why to companies keep making packs that don’t stand up on their own? Everything has a slanted angle so it falls over.
Osprey actually makes a pack specifically with this feature. Check out the "Tropos" model.
