When the monster was so fast that you have to exploit the slippery mechanic to juke the running direction and also give him some jumps on the head to get under his skin.

The best part of this is it feels like a game. Compare this to Sonic.exe, all you gotta do is just run left and right in Sonic, no win condition. But here, you can die, you can escape, you can stun Mario bu jumping on him, all the basic needs of the game are in there, win and lose condition.
