I'm an original backer of the game, and, got to say...this makes me fall in love with it all over again! Really can't wait for the release and for it to get big in the wider gaming community like it deserves. We still got awhile to go in the alpha development, but it's certainly getting there
The same, every time I see content like this. I've only been signed up for a year and a half now and yes, it has it's share of issues in alpha, but the improvements I've seen in the short time I've been signed up have been impressive.
OH MY GOD ! This is probably better than all the video game trailers I've already seen in my life because in addition to being visually perfect, it's actually representing what the game has to offer at this moment.
When I was young, younger than I can mostly remember, I'd have these dreams. Dreams of distant planets, vast structures, advanced civilizations, hope. It was never centerred on a character, or a plot, it just showed me the universe. Star Citizen, is exaclty what I saw. From the ships, to the space stations, down to the uniforms. Everything is the same. I love it, so much. I love space, and I love the idea of exploring it.
i hadd almost the same vision all tough i was a alien with a wife and 2 kids, but they died due to a war on my planet, so i was sendt out on a recon mission to find a new world for my kind, and well i did, i think my soul is older than i tought, before humans where a thing, and that i passed on trough life forms to the next, and the matrix as we call it, does have glitches that allow people to remember their past lifes, a litle bit, some memories stick longer than others, but everytime i explain this to people that are so called friends they bail on me thinking im crazy, what i think is crazy is that human kind still think that we are alone in the verse, dumbest thing ever, the universe has over 1 trillion galaxy's witch gets created every day for many decades, then in those systems we have over 2 trillion planets, you can bearly leave our galaxy before you die, so humanity would have to sleep for 1000000000 years just to get to a planet that has life, like on earth, or simply take the earth 2.0 witch is not that far, but ur dead before you get there, but your grandchildren might be adults when they get there :), ugh off topic again, humans are dumb as rocks, that's my point, but one day We Might have a chance, unless the war break our Race for good, or astroids :) who knows, guess we need to wait for 2029 to find out :) if not 2029 2039 every 10 years there are a 10% chance we go Poof, due to the planet killer astroir floating by us and closer every time :)
I come back to this video every once in a while and every time I see it, it is like falling in love with this game all over again. I really hope you decide to make another video like this at some point in the future.

I’ve been following this game for about 6-7 years now. It’s truly amazing how far it’s come but yet it has quite a ways to go yet.. even in 2022 this game feels ahead of it’s time still, it visually looks incredible. Once server meshing gets implemented, which is the final core element of this game, the development will rapidly accelerate. I can’t wait to see this game become the next big MMO.
I am new in Star Citizen. I joined to the Invictus Launch Week 24 and bought myself the titan package. I hope the servers will get better and some bugs will be fixed. Most of the time I am still learning and keep dying. And I dont know how to make money effectivly. BUT. I fucking love it. U can feel the love in this project. And the vision behind it. Right now there is no other game out which gives me that special feeling I have when I play star citizen.
Welcome! The Titan is a good purchase, an all-round good ship for most things. Yes you'll die a lot, especially at the start when you're learning the mechanics of the game. Servers during events like Invictus can be slower than usual, so I typically avoid the event areas but it can be easy money. At the start, try simple missions like easy bounties (ground & space), or deliveries, or investigations. You can also make great money if you're part of a group or if you're a crew member for someone else. For me, most of the time I was a gunner in the first few weeks/month... this includes mining and salvaging. Teaming up not only is more fun, but also brings in more money. Oh and also note that your reputation increases with time, so your income gets a higher percentage the more you play near the planet area... keep doing missions near Crusader and eventually Crusader police will start giving you a higher % for every mission.
Man i just gotta say how much i love this cinematic, the opening shot showcasing a sunrise representing the start of a journey wich is further on confirmed by the start of your ship in the same but brighter setting. The overall showcase of cities and ships representing a days life called back by the same shot we started with at the beginning closing dark, then opening up to the beauty of no ships no cities but rather Nature. Seeing planet after planet by itself showing its surfaces moving on to the last shot wich is a moon turning into dark and so on ending the Video. 🤌🤌and also the Forza Horizon 4 lobby music wich makes me wanna play it again
I tried to fly between the towers at the Lorville space port. Learned the hard way that there's an invisible wall. Don't regret a thing. Also, dancing with Hurston Security fighters and trying to make them crash into a space station is my new goal in life.
I've flown between the towers lots of times and been perfectly fine, I believe there is a wall but it's low? If you fly higher between the two towers you should be fine. Not sure. I know that they are wanting to entirely revamp the entirety of Lorville so you can actually fly around everywhere.
These are the best visuals I have ever seen in a fan-made trailer. You should do another, showing all the things you can do in the game - clips from combat, mining, trading, so on, you could make a trailer that trounces even CIG themselves. This video was very pretty and the music choice on point for sure, but it doesn't show anyone what the game is actually about or what you can do in it. Great job otherwise my dude!
Yup, good portrayal of SC. This game has an incredible depth and a bright future. It's building towards full Matrix in space. And development will never stop. The game will be upgraded forever.
My favorite part of this game is when i fall through my ship trying to use a ladder, or when i lost all my gear when i got killed by the box i was trying to deliver when i tried to set it down. All sarcasm aside I love SC and i believe in the project. When the game works its great and when they iron out all the bugs it'll be the best sci-fi game ever. I can't wait to finally fly my RSI Polaris when i'm 75 years old.
just got this recommended and I really love what you have done here. Though, good old ODESZA probably carried quite a bit of that weight too, adding the emotional layer that really create an experience with the visuals. The sentimental but hopeful vibe really fits Star Citizen and space in general :D

The Dilemma: Fill them with something engaging and fun to do. Luckily with the new KI-Walking-Roadmaps in development as well as free climbing and further world events, building ans server mashing, this is something beeing seriously worked on. Sadly it will still take years for all of them to be implemented. But damn, SC is largely about the dream of possibilities. And CIG certainly know what they're doing :-)

I think the biggest issue is the complexity of it like it needs on screen stuff when interacting with new objects to make it user friendly

I hope they nail the motorbikes with physical wheels as well, and hopefully we'll get roads at some point
