This is great romantic expression, ask yourself did this sound like a Chopin Nocturne or Debussy, all I could hear was the “knitting” the melodic line tightens and eases, the tempo gently undulates and the melodic line is far more emphasised than the base. Only these subtleties address the repetitive nature of this piece.
