Maybe a helpful tip. In settings under combat section, there is something called Mouseover Cast, if you check that box it will enable you to cast all spells on mouseover. Works on unitframes as well as the character model. Makes it easier so you dont have to click the player you wanna heal, can just mouseover there unitframes or their character instead
Stack haste. Not even kidding, your heals are big enough you just need them available more often. When I tell you getting to 18% haste changed my life. Then stack crit for life spark procs.
i guess as preservation - you just pray for full melee groups - will suck in some dungeons..but well - you cannot have it all but have a tank + 4 range group is pain in the ass - they tend to position themself into narnia
@@toba5878 you have to remember to echo your ranged, and you can tell them to try to stay closer to melee. Some fights are just super hard as prevoker, the last boss in mists always has me scrambling to get everyone.
Curious about the no trading loot rule. I understand that using gold, rep, etc that you earned on your Druid could be “unfair” compared to someone starting from scratch. But if all of your group is within your score range, it’s not like you got carried to that traded piece of gear, right? If you want a REAL challenge, learn how to heal on this character while you let me tank on my 590 gear guardian Druid…I’ve never done any mythic, just returned from WOTLK days 😂
Hmm yeah, might be a bit “overkill”, you are not the first one to ask about it. I just thought that it would require a bit more luck, or at least slow it down a bit. Might change it to “if no one else needs it, I can have it”, as people have suggested. Haha yeah, seems fun ;) Glad to have some “new” players in the game!
Oh man this will be fun. Came back to WoW from break since SL and am maining Presvoker rn and this spec is TOUGH. Feels like they only cared about making It play like in DF and completely ignored balance. Healing is mid for how much effort you need to put in compared to other specs, damage is dogshit(my 580 druid did more dps in solo content than my 611 evoker), the only save is the insane number of tools available to you.
Ummm not sure how your dps is low as pres you press flame breath deep breath and living flame. So I don’t believe for a second your druid does even close to pres dmg unless your trolling your self and pressing disintegrate and azure strike
@TheChrisko420 oh, the damage Is not unplayable terrible, you can eventually do all content without problems, but the key is comparison. On resto you run in feral, covoke and everything is dead, bosses included. In terms of time taken it's incomparable. Especially cds, Fire breath cd is half of Convoke and it doesn't hit for half of Convoke's dmg.
Alright, Post binge watch tips. First of all, unbind Disintegrate. It's a noob bait spell, unless you spec into it it does less damage than hardcasting echoing flames and specing into it is bad. It also eats your Essence which you should be using for Echo. In its place bind Fire Breath, half of the talents you are using are about making it a healing cd, you're griefing yourself by having it unbound. Generally, Evoker is about healing bursts instead of hps, and the gameplay is a rotation of minor cds. First, you cast Reversions to fish for instant cast echo flame proc. Then it is Stasis- Orb+Heal breath - Rewind?(I don't remembering that's the name, I mean the cd that makes empower spells instant cast) + Lifebloom for 5 man heal - if instant cast procs flame breath for 5 man echoing flame, otherwise Orb+Verdant embrace - proc - Stasis -repeat without stasis, adjust as,your cds sync. Lastly, When you fail mechanic, you panic mash the cd that reverts 33% dmg taken, it's good to get into habit of using it, it's not that long, you can often fit it 2x in a boss fight.
Fire breath is the first spell in your rotation. Also when damage is too high for your empowered spells your first response should be lifebind. TA, verdant embrace, echo, spiritbloom yourself. Also don't forget you can lifebind a health pot.

Oh, didn't know that. I created mouseover macros for all spells instead...

More haste, got it!

Haha yeah, I'll definitely try and play with more melee, if not all xd

Well, first impressions were overwhelming for sure 😂

A lot of good suggestions. I'll try and keep everything in mind. It's definitely very different from other healers xd
