Sounds good great to see you are a fellow West aussie I also have a rodeo have the 2006 v6 extra cab not 4wd did not want one however mine was built von a 4wd platform found out it has heavy duty coils andshocks on the front extra leaf in the rear springs it was a water authority Ute from Moora so they got it beefed up love it it goes well especially with the v6 mines a Holden v6 the alloy tech was built in oz done very little to it as not sure what is possible for this not many people seem to know or don't want to would like a little more poke from it if you have any ideas let Me know thanks..
I simply opened up the bottom of the original cat after gutting it (pretty common to have stuffed cats on these ) I ran 2.5" as it's never going to outflow that with universal 2 bolt flanges and a flex joint in the original location. A little tricky getting past the oil filter and torsion bar without getting too close to the floor pan but otherwise not too bad. Go the WA boys
Hey mate nice rig I got the same one I have a real flat spot when I take off in first gear like foot flat no revs is yours similar or do you know what it might be?
I had a boost leak mate, not sure why but ecm did not trip a limp mode. go over your turbo system focusing on exhaust to turbo and turbo to intake piping, especially on your intercooler where your bonnet scoop uses a plastic guide to direct the air stream through it. It rubs through the cores quick as it is fixed to the bonnet but contacts the engine via the intercooler. Yay Holden for that one! If no leaks found clean your sensors in said system check or have checked your dpf and hope its not the actual turbo being worn. Good luck👍
