The Montana Water Court seeks objections to the preliminary decree of the Flathead Indian Water Compact. The objection deadline is December 6, 2022. Wally Congdon, a Montana Attorney specializing in water and land-use law, presents relevant and little discussed aspects of this potential State, Federal and Tribal overreach. This meeting was filmed on November 3, 2022 at the Sanders County Commissioners office with approximately 150 in attendance. The preliminary decree objection process is a mandatory step which the Montana Water Court must carry out prior to any Final Decree being issued. The public is granted this one last opportunity to object and potentially maintain a future legal standing or to forever hold your peace.
