Great video the only couple of additional things that I learnt was to definitely take the yellow plastic off BEFORE filling the cartridge and also to save the orange base cap for when you do the next refills.
Great video I have the same printer but with cartridges all ready filled, can you give me any idea why it's printing vertical lines, I've done all the programs for cleaning ect but still does it. Many thanks
Buon giorno. Ho lostesa stampante fin ora e andata tutto bene. Invece adesso non mi legge le cartucce, le ho cambiate perché una si è era rovinata. Cosa devo fare. Come posso resettarlo. Grazie
Wow I have that same printer had it about six or seven years, I had know idea I could use edible ink and paper with it. I didn’t get such thing with it when I bought it . All it came with was a ten sheet pack of photo paper and a set of normal inks
Hiya . I've been given this printer by my dear friends husband She passed away from COVID 4 years ago. He hasn't given me the CD's or instruction manual but I've downloaded that. I am only using it for edible printing. That's all my friend used it for. I haven't a clue how to set it up. I keep watching yr video but how do I go on without the CD's?. Can you help please. The video is brilliant by the way. Ruth Crossland
Wish this video was available when I got my printer. This is a great printer and does a great job. I wish however you'd mention printer settings for different paper types. I'm a chocolatier and been using this to print transfer sheets however getting the settings has been difficult, online I've found suggestion to use standard printing. However black wasn't printed, after doing a search online an earlier version of a similar Canon printer stated that standard format wouldn't prints black so I had to resort to photo prints
Hello Simon thanks for your feedback we will certainly consider your feedback on the next edible video we do and look to show some printed results of the settings - what papers in particular are you using ?
Can you tell what I am doing wrong, I am trying to copy a photo from my laptop and my printer keeps telling me that my edible paper is run out and to fit paper into cassette and press resume button, which I do but it keeps giving me this message. Can you help?
Double check that the correct paper tray has been selected, the Canon printer drivers often default to one particular tray and so will state no paper found if there is no paper in its default tray. Safest option is to have paper in both trays.
This is specific printer bundle has edible ink so we would not recommend using that to print everyday documents. However the printer when is used with stand ink cartridges it can print standard A4 documents.
@@cityinkexpress-online Yeah, I bought one second hand online and didn't know it was for pics, however I have managed to print documents as well...And got some pictures for my wall! thanks anyway, good video!
Is there any reason you failed to show the REAR paper feed/tray? The Canon spec claims there is a rear feed (that would be easier to use for single sheet demos than the dinky front tray). Otherwise, worthwhile video.
Nice and helpful video. I need 2 set clear refillable cartridge and ink. Where I found it ? Is it available in Ali Express ? Thanks for this helpful video.
We have these refillable cartridges available on our website - www.cityinkexpress.co.uk/ink-products/edible-ink/ink-cartridges/canon-ip-series/canon-ip7250
Reason it never fed the sheet in was because he did not insert the sheet with the plastic lip first as it thinner...this will ensure that you don't get any misdeeds or paper jam.
@@cityinkexpress-online after so many intermittent paper jams we eventually started to remove the plastic backing and never got any jams...it was not until I read the fondant paper manufacturer's instruction about 6 weeks ago that I found this out...now we get jam free prints all the time.

Janice Knigths the exact same thing is happening to mines. Not sure what to do

Can i Any printer use edible print?
Can you scan documents with this printer?
No this printer model does not have a scanner function.
Can it be used to print documents instead of photos? and is A4 paper suitable? thanks

@@cityinkexpress-online Thank you.
so this is an unmodified printer straight out of the box the only difference is the ink cartridges have been replaced with edible ink ones, correct?
Yes that is correct.
you cannot mix ink brands on the same printer - you must only commit the printer for edible ink or normal ink and it must be brand new
if i will buy this printer is edible ink and wafer paper free.?
That would depend on the options you choose on our website, the price would vary accordingly.
Thanks very much brother ❤🙏
