- So I finally managed to get hold of a Hilleberg Soulo Black Label, and I must say initially I am impressed!
I am so buzzing to get out in this tent and hopefully it serves me well for many years of Wild Camping !
Next weeks upload will be my first outing in the Soulo so look out for that…

Anyone who has camped in *seriously* tough conditions will appreciate a well-made, tough tent. I've had mine in hurricane force winds (measured at 127 km/h) above the arctic circle in Auyuittuq Park and you can bet I was glad I spent the money on a Hilleberg.

Were you there for the weekend.Why should I get involved with a group of people that's dogma is based on lying?The specs of the tent are 4 times less then what it takes to waterproof.I doubt you have been to Antarctica and are just another patsy!
I keep talking myself in and out of buying this tent. There's definitely an element of fashion to it, but it's also about peace of mind. Nothing takes the fun out of camping like wondering whether your kit is going to hold up. Great video - thanks!

I could understand your pride in ownership, cause I bought the first version of the Soulo red Label back in 2008 ( 599,-€) as one of the first in my country. And since then I bought it three times again, after selling it everytime after my long tours had been completed.
But in my experiance as someone with over 30 years in hikking in northern Europe, the regular red label Soule would have been absolutely fine for you, plus it is much lighter and a bit cheaper as well. Because even the Red Label could handle very harsh conds without a problem. And I experianced it many times.
So if you are not a high altitude Mounraineer the BlackLabel Soule is DEFINATELY NOT NEEDED.
But enjoy it anyway

I just picked up a used enan. I already have a tarp tent scarp 2 which is my ‘winter’ tent, and I love that but at just over 2 kilos it’s not something I’d want to carry on a fast and light, or multi day trip. The enan however is incredible. I’ve not used it yet but compared to other tents I can definitely see what all the fuss is about. It’s amazing how they manage to keep it so light without sacrificing the big hardy features like the storm flap and zip pulls etc. it’s only 3 season but it’s bombproof compared to other makes of tents so I’m over the moon. I feel like I’ve got both bases covered and may never need to buy another tent!!!
Really contemplating the Enan, I was thinking Akto at first but don’t think I will use it as much with me already having the Soulo.
I bet you have plenty room in the Scarp 2 ! They look great.
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors yes the scarp 2 is bigger than expected. That has the benefit of tons of space for me and the dog which for a winter tent is what you want as you spend ages inside it. (Plus it’s ideal for using on motorbike trips when you have big bulky gear like helmets etc). Downside is it’s marginally heavier than the scarp 1 (not that much tho surprisingly!), and the footprint is very big making tight pitches tricky.
That’s where the Enan shines because it is more of a 3 season tent, but smaller footprint for tight spots, and incredibly light so perfect for spring / summer camps where you’re walking long distances during the long days and don’t mind the lack of space because you’re not in it for such long nights.
The akto I was very tempted by but the weight put me off as it was virtually the same as the scarp 2 without the crossover poles. The Enan and akto both suffer with the old condensation but that’s life and I believe the Enan is slightly better than the akto in that department, so another reason to go for the Enan!
I see a lot of people on here that constantly buy tents and gear and constantly throwing money at the screen because of reviews, without really taking the pastime seriously and just getting out into nature. Had my "Red label" Soulo for 14 years (before I knew it was a red label) I bought it on sales advice at an expo in Germany, its Been to to Everest base camp, been all over UK and Europe, it has a couple of light marks, not that you can see them, I've replaced the footprint once (overkill I have 2 x footprints attached) but everything is original and works fine. had a few scary times where I swear it got demolished whilst I was sleeping inside, but in the morning it looked as good as new, it has no rips and has never leaked, I manage condensation best I can, it is home from home very cosy and ive loved it throughout, probably thousands of hours hiking and Bikepacking! they are a lot more expensive today, but I would buy another in a heartbeat. guess you get what you pay for, im looking forwards to another 14 years with it (I will be 69 then).
My first hilleberg was a soulo.. now i have an atlas, keron 4gt, allak 3, anaris, etc. great tents

I still buy some big name brands like Arcteryx, but it's quality. I buy most of my gear now from small cottage companies. Typically, it's the quality, the construction, materials and the customer service. Cottage companies will in many cases respond within hours and it's the founder that speaks with you about your concern.

I can confidently say I don't think you'd regret getting the Enan.
At one time I used the Akto all year round but nowadays I use the Enan for "general" three season camping and the Soulo (red label) for winter. Although the Akto is marketed as a four season tent it suffers a bit in heavy snowfall because the roof is at such a shallow angle. This results in the snow not readily sliding off.
The Akto is still a great tent but the Soulo is in a class all of its own.
The Enan is a fabulous shelter. Hilleberg will never compete in the ultralight market because they refuse to compromise on the quality of their groundsheets. The Enan has (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) the same quality groundsheet as the Akto.
The quoted weight of ultralight tents can be a bit misleading I think. What you need to consider is the actual trail weight and with Hilleberg that's exactly what you get. Pegs, poles, guys, stuff sack, repair kit all included.
They are worth the money in my opinion. You can't put a price on peace of mind after all when you're high on a hill.
I think If I was to buy another Hilleberg any time soon then it is deffo going to be the Enan and then like you do, use the Soulo for winter.
Hilleberg tents are night and day when it comes to quality compared to any other tent i’ve tried. I’ve only ever used chinese budget end brands before getting the Hilleberg.

@@AirbornePirates Yes mate I used Delta pegs, the first night the weather was shocking, really need a newer Go Pro so I can film in the bad weather as didn’t get as much footage as i’d like to.. most of my filming is using the iPhone at the moment and not great in the rain.
Bent pole section in a storm, they replaced it for free
Had a pole bent after an akto was ripped out of the ground in a 90mph storm due to wind shooting in the door as I was getting in, the tent then dragging me along till the gust died as I held onto the guyline. The pole was replaced free of charge, other than the pole the tent suffered no damage. After I had a wild country mistrel flattened in 80mph storm got hilleberg tents ever since starting with the Tarra followed by the nallo, akto, nammatj, Soulo and recently the Anjan 2.
You ask is it worth the price? Well yes. If your tent fails, it could be your last, not worth gambling with your safety.

Really pleased with my Soulo and glad i’ve got a tent that is actually suitable for winter camps 👌🏼 I’ve also got my eye on a Nammajt 2 for a future buy.
I have 2 Soulos one bl and one standard - also have an akto and an Enan which i have used to backpack the Pennine Way twice with my dog - they are all ace
Anyone that says it's overkill for the UK should spend a few nights in winter a top a mountain in the lakes district or the Scottish Highlands.

I use Hilleberg Tents over other tentmakers for many reasons. For me I spend a lot of money organising and preparing for trips £30 - £50 in fuel most trips and £20 in food and drink. If I was to throw other tents into the areas I use my Hilleberg it would most likely result in an abandoned camp. My enjoyment of camping would start to wear thin I'm sure. Its an investment as we all know they hold price if looked after. When I first pitched a Hilleberg in my garden my family had the opportunity to see how rigid and strong these tents are and they sleep easy knowing I have got kit like this to keep me safe.

Thats exactly what happened to me and the reason why I spent the money on a Hilleberg.
3 hour drive to the Lake District for my last tent to fail resulting in me having to bail in the dark made me consider spending a lot to get premium reliable quality.
I’ve just done 2 nights in it this weekend and had some rough weather so I was already happy with my decision 👍🏼

It's what makes you happy, we only live once and money is not important, glad you love your tent, oddly they were founded the same year I was born ( January 1971).

Pleased for you Liam...Welcome to the Other Side . if you meet a new bird make sure she knows that she is number 3 in the relationship and be prepared to dump her if she complains and dont let your mates sleep with her ( The Hilleberg, i mean :) I am on my second Soulo, the first one i owned for 10 or 11 years and i got more than my money back when i sold it. I didn't get on with the Acto, at 5 foot ten with an X Therm i found my head was too close to the inner and since discovering the benefits of pyramid tents i wouldn't use anything else in the other 3 seasons ( Roomier, Lighter and cheaper and solid in the wind). Looking forward to watching what you get up to in your new Soulo before the Spring arrives...Happy Camping.
Thanks mate , I hoping mine lasts many years which i’m sure it will if I look after it, yeah I had thought of the Akto as an option and was looking at the Enan as a 3 season option but I think you are right, i’m more or less 6 foot so i’m probably gonna have the same issue in regards to space.
What Pyramid tent have you got? As i’ll be on the look out for a lighter tent for the warmer months, was just gonna go for a classic Lanshan 2 but gonna have a browse and see what options there is.

The Hilleberg "tent fail"video is precisely why i bought a Nammatj 2 BL. Thanks for sharing that it was a faulty pole. It doesn't change the fact that the tent failed. Failure of any kind with kit is not an option for me. Peace of mind is priceless when it comes to outright survival.
Any tent pole can fail, if it can fail on a Soulo it can failed on a Nammajt… highly unlikely but it can still happen but I do think most failures, even 1s that state otherwise on UA-cam come down to user error.
And don’t forget the pole had just bent, it hadn’t actually failed. They wouldn’t supply a spare pole section if they were unable to bend.

I took the Nammayj 2 to west coat Ireland, 28 days wild camping being battered by storms and wind. Unnerving the first few nights having never done it before. I wouldn't change the Nammatj for anything, incredible performance. You get an awful lot of tent for the money with the BL versions. I like the Soulo, but too claustrophobic for me, the extra weight of the Nammatj 2 is worth the penalty. Not sure i could have lived out of a small tent for so long. Agree that everything has its limits, the 10.25mm poles make a huge dicference in rigidity and strength. But as you say, anything can break if pushed too far by conditions or user error.
@@turtle-Alchemist Oh mate don’t get me wrong I would love a Nammajt 2 its certainly on the list! Never owned a tunnel tent so that will be my first when I eventually get 1. Like you said for that tiny bit of extra weight you are getting a 2 man tent.
If it does fail, the tent itself should survive instead of ripping to shreds.
There great tents the quality is there to see the customer service is excellent.theres a lot of jealousy around people putting them down but nobody moans when a photographer drops 1k on a new lense or a cyclist spends 5k on a bike. There definitely an investment and for people who camp a lot I'm sure you will get plenty of use out of it.ive had the hilleberg niak since Xmas can't wait to get out and use it.i got the niak because I like the extra room over the enan I've had single pole tents before the room inside isn't good
Exactly that mate , and i’m sure i’ll get my moneys worth, even just after going camping this weekend up a mountain the weather turned quite bad and just having that peace of mind about the strength was great.

Wow, Dude, I was looking for this Hillebert Soulo BK Label for a long time, but finally, I find the Soulo Red label available for sale, I am very happy with my new tent, and I highly recommend them. you can't go wrong buying these tents!! I live in New York and I love camping on the hills, especially went it's snowing or windy. these tents hold the heat, and you will be warm all night 😎

The Big factor for me was price, I went down the Terra Nova route as I found one on sale for a good price and their high end tents are still made in the UK
I have the soulo like u mate ideal when I took it Lake District red tarn ect and Dartmoor well worth the money also got the allak 3 for the dogs and mrs when they come awesome bit of kit I didn’t upgrade my iPhone so the extra money I saved every month paid for the tents on Taunton Leisure 12 months interest free all paid for now so happy camping

@Good Bloke Outdoors we're here now. We did a 10 mile hike up loose hill, to Mam tor. Down a long route then, the broken rd, which drops more by the yr and then rd walk back to Hope and ty.
Great video mate and good insight into why it's worth spending the $$ on a Hilleberg. I almost pulled the trigger on a Hilleberg, but opted for a slightly more obscure option in the Stone Glacier Skyscraper. Pro and cons to both, but it works for me. Having said that, I always drool when I see a Hilleberg, so I'll probably be an total plonker and splash out on one at some point. I mean, we all need more tents in our lives right? 😂
You can never have too many tents, although I don’t think i’ll be buying another any time soon after forking out on the hille 😅
I think for the summer i’m just gonna go with a classic Lanshan 2 or something for when the weathers good to keep the weight down.

I normally go with terra nova tents, but a used soulo black label came up so I snapped it up, I've done a couple of winter mountain camps and your tent is critical to you staying alive, so I think it's a very good investment
Definitely a good investment , what Terra Nova tents have you got? I’ve never tried a Terra Nova tent but I know they are supposed to be great quality.

@@mr10004 Not impressed by wild country. The peg attachment of the Zephyr 3 season tunnel tore in the store as a salesman was putting it up for me, so I bought the mistrel instead which collapsed in an 80 mph storm which is fine, but wild country washed their hands of it as said nothing can survive an 80mph storm. Hilleberg on the other hand recon their tents such as the Tarra can survive anything on the planet. Due to Wild Country's customer service never purchased another of their tents, but have bought 5 or 6 hillebergs ranging from the akto to the Tarra with a combined worth of several thousand pounds.

Yes I will ! I’ve just got a couple nights camping from the weekend to edit then I might work on cloud peak 2 video.. i’ve got loads of footage of the process already just need to film a few more bits and piece it all together.

All high end tents cost a pretty penny, I'm a believer in that if it suits you then it works. I have a zpacks plex solo which weighs 395g without pegs, had that out in 40/45mph steady winds without an issue, but definitely not a winter tent. I prefer trekking pole tents, mids and pyramids can withstand all sorts of weather's. When you have time check out the MLD Trailstar which I have 🤦♂️🤷♂️. But it really doesn't matter the tent, if you like it and like the style you go for it, looking forward to seeing you out in the hilleberg.
Thats it Chris, I really need to look into getting a trekking pole tent , especially for the longer hikes when the weather gets a bit warmer. I have the Lanshan 1 at the moment which was gonna be my tent for the summer but for sake of a couple hundred grams more at most I want something with a bit more room.
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors There are loads of really good trekking pole tents on the market. I have a Trekkertent Stealth 1, Tarptent Protrail and Stratosphire 1, MLD Cricket and Trailstar. I used to own an MLD Duomid and Hexpeak V4a but sold them on, you can never have to many tents 😂🤣🤷♂️🤦♂️. If its space your after the Stratosphire 1 or 2 and the Duomid have oodles of it 👌. You'll love the soulo just watch out for condensation 😉
@@chrisweldon2817 yeah i’ve looked at the DuoMids , seen The Solo Summiteer use 1 on plenty of his videos and seen Andrew Beavers using the cricket. So got a lot of options to consider. Like you say, can’t have too many tents 😅
I've got a 1995 rod Hutchinson 1 man fishing bivvy not really for backpacking but it's huge and has a 20000 hydrostatic head skin and a over wrap that is also 20000 hydrostatic head never leaked can't see it ever leaking
i had a red label before the black label that i got now i found your video because i been looking at the storm flap on the zipper and yours is as weird as it is on mine it looks a bit low if that makes sense it wasn't like that on my red label and to me it looks like a weak point where water might get in under heavy rain ..... i know you can move the top hat but that will make the door smaller and the top hat will look all weird (dont like that) i have 7 different hilleberg tent and i have tents like the fjällräven keb dome 2 for when i need more space and i want that type of tent i do have a whole collection of expedition tents and all sorts of other tents just got a helsport himalaya pro 2 as the latest one to the collection i think i am a bit older than you and i been collecting for quite some time now i have over 50 tents at this point i dident count them for some time now i live in scandinavia and do mountain stuff all over europe (mountains are higher here and its colder) used to work doing expeditions and i missed it that how the mountain stuff startet hehehehehe
bought the keron 3p tent around 1997 ish in the uk still got it, dont use it has much now. living in perth western australia only use it in winter time
The fact you still have it from 1997 shows the build quality itself. Just had a look at the Keron 3p, what a palace! Love it.
There not esential to enjoy camping but they have a good reputation for a reason , they are quality and if you can afford one then why wouldnt you , as you say no tent is infallible but the odds are stacked in your favour and with excellent customer service to back up the brand to boot , my camping mate has the soulo and laughs when i call my cloud peak 2 the sillyburg and i have to admit i am very tempted by the allak .
Thats exactly right Mick, you can enjoy camping in more budget friendly tents as long as you pick the correct conditions and location. I loved my Cloud Peak 2 and if it wasn’t for the zip failing i’d probs be still using it now.
Don’t ask how I know, but this tent IS NOT BEAR PROOF.
Best reviews i seen on this tent aren’t really reviews but cycle touring .. special people on world tour where there living in the tent 360 days a year … so far i seen many floor problems and pole breaks but saying that .. i think is better to buy a 4 cheaper tents than one expenives tent they would both last the same time ..still deciding .. just wish the company would let you chose the inner when buying it mess inner or siolded inner .. that way i would be able to get the inner i want withou buy extra inner

Its not too bad, i’ve come from the Cloud Peak 2 which with it being a 2 person tent is like a palace for me on my own.
I think with the Soulo, the key is to have the inner fully open and tied back across the full length of the tent, it just opens it up more and makes it feel roomier. Then obv when its time to sleep close it all up.
Ive realised I just need to be a bit more organised and tidy with my gear inside the tent instead of just throwing it all over the place lol

Might be a bit of man maths at play here, but when you consider how much they keep their value, they’re not expensive at all. If you buy one and then come to sell it at some point, you’ll pretty much get your money back. Love my Akto.

My Hilleberg didn't even come with poles 🤣
I wanted a relatively light trekking pole 3 season tent for multi-day hikes that'd last for years. Life was getting in the way, so couldn't wait for an xmid 2 at the time, didn't like the look of the pitchlock ends on a stratospire 2, and didn't want DCF because they all seemed single wall, are all opaque and look to have bonkers pack size for single wall tents.
Bought an Anaris.
Just had a quick look at the Anaris as I wasn’t too familiar with it and wow that looks the business as far as trekking pole tents go. What is the weight? Be great for the long distance multi day hikes.
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors 1400g all-in so a fair bit heavier than summat like a Lanshan 2. Wife and I split it between us.
It's a fair bit bigger than a Lanshan 2 though (think in width, wife and I get 2 25cm pads in. deffo in length {I'm 6'2" so use a long pad and have clearance at foot and head}) and the bathtub depth at the head and foot ends is about a foot when you pitch it at 135cm pole length, which is perfect for me.
I didn't think we'd use the different pitching options it has, but we have (you can float one end of the fly off an extra set of poles, or pitch it and roll both ends of the fly into the peak etc etc) but done it a couple of times.
We don't wildcamp together, so the fact I wouldn't recommend pitching it above treeline in a gale is irrelevant to me personally. But we have had it gusting to 30mph and bouncing down and it took it in its stride. Any worse, and the good thing about trekking pole tents is you can just pitch the outer as low as you want.
As an ex Lanshan owner ("sold" mine to a mate and upgraded to a Liteway illusion) I'd recommend them, but if someone said "what about", the Anaris would deffo be recommended with the caveat: if the cost makes you squirm don't bother, no point getting yersen a ccj for a tent 🤣
Edit/ I'd add, the only things I'd change about the Anaris are: either vents at the top of the zips, or two-way zips.
But I just leave the door open if I think condensation is gonna be a problem (if there's zero wind for airflow).
I’m not sure about Hilleberg anymore. It’s a shame because they most certainly are lovely bits of kit but paying all that money for something that leaks is a bit of a piss take. Everyone of mine did until I seam sealed them myself.

Thats not good to hear mate! Which tent did you have? Where was it leaking from? I was in some pretty bad rain over the weekend but luckily no issues in regards to leaking so far but its something i’ll keep my eye on. Thanks for the comment mate.
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors I’ve had the Soulo, Akto, Enan and all unfortunately leaked. The Soulo and the Akto were probably the worst.
On the Soulo it would blow the rain under the top canopy and track down the poles, this then would drip rain on to the top vent zip then run down to where the clasp is then in to the inner. It would only happen in bad weather conditions like heavy rain and wind. This was really disappointing as that’s exactly what the Soulo was designed for. Have a look on UA-cam for ‘leaking Soulo’ it will probably be my video that pops up first.

If you work hard and you love a past time why not buy the best kit. It'll last you years. I've probably bought that many bits of kit I could just buy the best and only need one. I've always wanted an omega seamaster, yet ive bought loads of watches that I threw away when the battery died. In total they must've cost loads more. Genuinely rich people from old money buy the best but only buy once. I don't wild camp enough to justify the cost, but if I camped as much as you I would save and buy a hilleberg, you do right.
Just what I needed to hear 😊 and you are right.. I could of bought another budget friendly tent to try get me through the winter but when i’m wanting to do summit mountain pitches I need something that I have faith in and thats gonna last.

where weight is an issue for the coast to coast 12 day 200 mile hike would you take the soulo at almost 2.5 the weight of the lanshan2 or a cloudpeak2 with more space and same weight?
Thanks mate! If you plan on using trekking poles anyway then i’d certainly say go with the lanshan 2.. i’m gonna get 1 for the summer and long distance hikes. Would love to do the coast to coast, but need to get some multi day trips with many miles in the legs first before tackling something that long.
I know not asked of me, but assuming these are tents you've currently got; take the Lanshan 2. If you don't use trekking poles, use trekking poles.
If you're solo, I'd go so far as to suggest using the Lanshan 1 if you can be bothered getting it. Yeah, it's not a lot of weight saved over the 2 but it is weight saved. Means you can stick a pub t-shirt in yer pack.

Yeah, totally get that. It's just, personally I've always assumed that after a 15 mile day with another X days of 15 mile days whether it's pissing it down or not, I'm always going to get in my tent and 1) cook dinner 2) eat dinner 3) go to sleep and if I don't do that I pitch up and go to the closest pub, so I don't factor in being awake for a long time sat up in a tent.
There's also, you *can* do that solo in a Lanshan 2 a bit easier for summat that's not kilos heavier in weight so if you do ever want to just have a nice light jog wildcamp overnighter you can then use it for that too.

I was the same mate, was really keen on getting a Red 1 but decided to go with Sand as I think it will be more stealthy in those camps that may require a more discreet pitch.

I'm just going to say it straight, going Black Label is just dumb. The tent just ends up being more expensive, far heavier and less comfortable in most conditions. There no weather the UK has to offer where an Unna or even Niak wouldn't be more than plenty.
You could've saved a over a kilo of weight while also getting a tent which is faster and easier to pitch, way lighter and far more comfortable in most conditions.

Are great tents but sold my soulo was a massive condensation machine got the abisko lite 2 just as good in wind and no condensation
Ive done 2 nights in a row in it it so far, first night wasn’t much condensation but 2nd night i had everything fully zipped up and yeah it was a bit damp following morning , had to give it a wipe down before packing away.
Abisko lite 2 looks a brilliant tent mate 👍🏼

Thats it and you’l see in my next video my first camp in the Soulo was on a mountain summit and I certainly had more confidence and peace of mind this time round.
£1k for a tent wtf man . I’ve never even heard of this brand before I’m not into camping at all but love my hiking. Suppose it’s what makes you happy but I’ve seen people make videos with £300 tents in snow storms and they’ve been fine. It’s the same with anything you pay for the name and not what it actually does. U must be loaded to spend this on a tent 😂. Can’t wait for the next video.
Yeah it seems ridiculous really to spend that on a tent 😅 but its done now and i’m already getting my moneys worth and I guess the more nights it keeps me safe the more its been worth it 👍🏼👍🏼
Hilleberg tents are fantastic tents, however, like most products in the West, they are most definitely overpriced! Good marketing, retail stores and social media influencers advocating for Hilleberg drive the price up! However it is what it is!

Personally ive always found the Soulo ugly from a geometric perspective. And in this day and age, they should be far lighter thst what they are imho.
The problem is theyre expensive because theyre hand made. They are NOT expensive because they dont break....they absolutely do!! Just like any other tent.
Hand made hiked the price up. Speaking as an ex owner and old timer, The filofax boys all bought them so they "appear" the ultimate. The middle class saved and struggled to buy them and the working class dreamt of them. Criterea slightly altered these days as most working folk can drum up £600 or £700 pretty easily.
But the reality is, yes its a very very high quality product. But in practice, it breaks just like any other. I have and had, plenty of tents that are a fifth of the price thats stood up to 70/80 mph winds and driving rain just fine. Yet ive watched many videos of hillebergs failing.
Watching videos and speaking to folk who own them out in the field, its very apparent that the once 'i cant afford one' to the now ' anyone can buy one' is purely an ego trip for the modern day camper that lends itself beautifully to todays mentality of 'having the brand names". They step out on the top of Blencathra or wherever, in mid december, minus 8 in a absolute shitstorm and they fully expect their tent is not going to break because theyre fully invested in the hype whilst riding the ego train.( Im not saying you are you understand, im speaking of decades of camping).
Im whining on a bit here i realise. But the simple fact is your not paying for something thats indestructible (though the majority seem to think they are). Your paying for a completely hand made high end product thats equally as fallable as a vango bansee.
If we accept that postulate, then thst leaves only one thing left......the ego!! Bragging rights. (Veeeeery big thing today what with the internet and a worldwide audience in the pslm of you camera).
Its fine and well having one and yes go bragg away if thats your ride, fine by me. But its as wise to remember that Hilleberg are a lot like Prime.
You can pay £600 for a bottle of pop, but it dont make it any better than Coke or Pepsi or Tescos. They all go down the same way.
Its expensive as hell just for the privilege of walking around with an edge on and a grin on your face just to flash off a logo.
Anyhoo.....enjoy your tent young man. I enjoyed mine until it bust. And a couple of terra novas too.
Oh and finally, just some food for thought here, but have you ever wondered to yourself why you never ever see the mighty Hilleberg, "the best tent maker in the world" tents on the expedition slopes of Everest or K2. Wouldnt you think theyd be the ONLY name up there!!
