All joking aside in 1974 I had the Honda CT70 In that gorgeous red. Back then that bike was ahead of its time. You literally could not ask for anything that was better for a trail bike. To this day 50 years later the Honda CT70 looks as though it is modern and just designed 2024. It does not look prehistoric (lol) or outdated. In my opinion and how I view it is like it just came off the assembly line. in any event your Mini bike is beautiful MIKE,,,,😊
Not sure if you'd be interested, but the front rack for a ct90/110 fits the ct70 clones pretty well. It's rated for way more weight than it's safe to have riding on the front (I carried a 40 pack of snapple home on mine so it will at least handle 40lb. Good video duder.

You can do a BBK, take a look at rolling wrench, they even have a fuel injection kit... I like these bikes!! Can’t wait to see you rolling around on it
I put gas nitrox shocks in the rear of my ST70 clone, and is oooother bike now! I recommend that upgrade, there’re some not expensive brands btw. Will be hard to get close to the grom maybe, the grom is fuel injected.. but you can change the CDI too.. a progresive one. The stock CDI in Chinese bikes its close to ok, but sucks 😅
Hey, great video. Did you have any problems getting it titled and plated in Wisconsin? I live in Illinois, and the DMV is far from customer friendly. The whole MSO thing makes me nervous. I am assuming Maddogs just sends you a MSO. Thanks!
From my understanding" not personal experience" those that want lots more power tend to upgrade the entire engine to 140cc or larger. When I get mine I will ditch the very quite and restrictive exhaust and rejet/replace the carburetor.

I have the same Ice Bear and I am doing something similar. However, after raising up the front fender, I ended up cutting it because it hung so low in front of the motor. The original CT70's fender is a bit stubby in the back. Are you concerned about cooling issues?
That’s a clean front fender mod. Can the brackets that attached the fender to the forks be removed easily? I’d love to do this to mine. I also ordered the tail light from Trailbuddy. Great videos!
@@BIZMOTO I found out after talking to David. None of the under mount exhausts will work with the center stand. I do believe the under mount exhaust is a superior design because it keeps the heat away from the rider. I will have to take my center stand off.
@@BIZMOTO Hi I thought you stated there was center stand interference with the larger rear tire. I do not understand the issue with the exhaust. Although yours looks much better than mine did, I just put 400X10 tires on the stock rims, it made it a litttle taller, faster and rode I little better.

Your fender is dangerously close to the front of the block. Frame flex over a bump could catch you in a turn. Recommend you get longer bolts and some washers and drop the fender a half inch or so. Nice ride!

Yes the 140 fits but its HUGE and u need the wider footpeg bracket and it EATS gas bigtime. Your back rack has a gas tank that bolts on underneath.

Police in some areas will pull you over if that plate is not vertical. It wouldn't surprise me if some of them carry plumb bobs to check.
