The song is about remembering her grandmother singing a lullaby to her telling her that when she would die she would be looking at her from the moon every day but one (new moon). The song mixes Flamenco with modern sounds but the staging and her vocals make the song unique.
We dont care about the final result...this is a masterpiece and we are proud about her..this year we send something 100% spanish and we love it. I think she will finish top 20 because the public vote but the jury will give us lots of points

The "every night but one" refers to the phase of the moon when it's not visible: the New Moon.
Es un placer conocerte, gracias por tu reacción, significa mucho para nosotros. Si te ha gustado la canción, tienes que saber que es una nana para niños, y el flamenco de la canción es una música típica española. Además, como has recalcado lo del outfit te explico: la nana está compuesta por poemas de un poeta español que se llamaba Federico García Lorca, que fue asesinado antes de la guerra civil española, el rojo de su corsé simboliza la sangre de su pecho y los pantalones blancos simboliza una de las últimas obras de dicho autor, que trataba de una boda. Al menos eso es lo que creemos. Saludos desde España guapo!!
En realidad, aunque imita la escritura de tipo popular que caracterizó a cierto Lorca, el texto es del poeta Álvaro Tato 😊

esta cancion va a despertar mucho las mentes musicales de europa y el mundo, si blanca paloma a echo esta nana flamenca con la voz que tiene y la fusion hitnotica que la hace aun mas una nana ,de electronica con sintetizadores y beats y palmas un espectaculo, que se puede hacer con todas las tipos de culturas que hay en el mundo?

It is flamenco with an electronic background. It is a “bulería" which has a 12 beat system with accents on the 2 5 9 10 and 12. Flamenco is just beautiful, evocative and raw, there is no escaping it.

El flamenco es “duende”, desgarro, hipnotico y , sobre todo, arte.
Espero que se entienda todo lo que esta cancion trata de transmitir gestualmente, brazos que acunan, flecos rojos que abrazan, imagenes cenitales que imitan una luna, una flecha imaginaria que da sobre un corazon latiente. Es una actuacion realmente buena!!!! Espero que el resto del mundo entienda que España envia su alma( ademas de una cantante con una calidad vocal excelente)Ole💃💃💃

In the performance theres a lot reference to Flamenco like that red curtain circle symbol of the fridge shawl dancers. The Arrow when light on that red colour symbolism of life and Blood, dancers or priestesess rythm is like they were in trance or ecstasy invoking their ancestors . Actually Blanca dedicate this song to her passaway grandmother Who taught her to sing Flamenco, only Blood connection that since she just been a child felt so close. Her grandmother sung her these similars Flamenco lullaby when she was just a little girl. And now she wrote this one back to her memory. The most special one according to her, which saw in her the perfect inheritor to give away that passion and continue that privilege and extraordinary legacy.

Se escenifica una tragedia universal : no hay un padre presente, las "lágrimas del Nilo" te dicen que es un niño gitano, (=egipciano). La madre se deshilacha sobre la cuna, desvelada noche tras noche, cuidando del niño, ella sola, ( de ahi el decorado de flecos rojos o simplemente es un Manton de Manila) y nos recuerda los poemas de García Lorca o Miguel Hernández
El flamenco recoge una tradición musical religiosa judeocristiana y musulmana y el lamento del pueblo egipciano, y ahora se introduce un elemento pagano, qué es el ritual a la Luna, (madre o muerte a la que ella invoca para poder cuidar del niño depues de muerta) y el presentimiento de que ella vs a morir, todos ellos elementos típicos de Federico García Lorca
La canción de Chanel nos llevó a Hispanoamérica, sin embargo Blanca Paloma nos lleva al flamenco, a la España Andalusi (al Andalus ocupaba casi toda la península ibérica) y la música de los pueblos que en ella coexistieron
Finalmente, EA, Ea se usa para arrullar a un bebe pero también para animar (RAE) , y así en los tablaos flamencos se usa para decir :vamos, vamos, por eso el movimiento de la mano de ella, y el diferente ritmo entre la nana dirigida al niño y el resto de la canción (BP lo usa para arrullar pero también para jalear.)
Gane o no, lo importante es que el flamenco es patrimonio cultural de la humanidad según la UNESCO y estará representado dignamente el sábado en Eurovisión.

EA ea es lo que decimos en español para acunar a los niños, a los bebés, para que se duerman al mismo tiempo que los mecemos suavemente. Hay mucho folclore con nanas (lulaby) con el ea ea... Pero la canción tiene sobre todo una raíz muy fuerte de la poesía de Federico García Lorca (famoso poeta español) con el tema de la muerte, la tradición, las mujeres, la nana... Y es una buleria que es una de las variedades del flamenco. Pero actualizado con toques de música electrónica, más joven, más renovado. Me parece muy, muy buena
