The LTD EC-100QM was my very first electric guitar... great guitar for beginners, and even for intermediate and more advanced players once you upgrade the pickups and the tuning nobs, it measures up well and stands its own against more expensive guitars with the upgrades. I definitely recommend that guitar to anyone looking to get a new guitar and not break their bank account.
GREAT NEWS!! Just managed to get the last 3 of the EMG loaded H401's from the ESP distributor in the UK - once these are gone, I can't get any more H401's to sell at £449 - be quick. I also got a bunch of the H401's that are Seymour Duncan loaded - different colours too, and these are only £429 each (RRP is nearly £800!!). You can find them on the Andertons site now - I'll try & do a little video of the Seymour Duncan loaded ones next week - cheers, Lee

wow the EC100QM is amazing
ANYTHING THAT HAS ESP OR LTD ON THE HEADSTOCK IS AMAZING, MY FIRST GUITAR WAS AN EC-10 AND I STILL LOVE TO PLAY IT, I'M ACTUALLY ABOUT TO PLAY IT NOW MATTER OF FACT AS SOON AS MY VALVES WARM UP, I KINDA GOT SPOILED BUYING THAT AS MY FIRST GUITAR BECAUSE IT WAS $99 AND I THOUGHT I WOULD SPEND $2-300 ON MY 2ND BUT THE GUITARS I LOOKED AT WERENT EVEN AS GOOD, THEY HAD FRETS STICKING OUT OVER THE EDGE OF THE FRETBOARD AND JUST WERENT BUILT AS GOOD AND THE PICKUPS ON THE EC-10 SOUND GREAT, I THINK THEY ARE THE SAME AS ON THE EC-100, WHEN I WANT A BETTER NEWER GUITAR I MADE IT SIMPLER ON MYSELF, JUST GET A ESP/LTD AND I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT QUALITY WHICH IS WHY I HAVE 4 LTD GUITARS NOW, COUPLE OTHERS TOO BUT ITS ALWAYS NICE NOT TO HAVE TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ESP/LTD GUITARS, NEXT IS THE NEW JAMES HETFIELD VULTURE

@ninjabob3000 Yup - we've got ML1's in stock. We just bought a bunch of them as think they're pretty much down to the last few now.
@mean0machine0 You've got some great gear there - nice!! I had the HT20 set with gain just over half way - any more than that & the sound went too mushy. Then the EQ had all 3 controls all set to about 1-2 o'clock, and the ISF about 3-4 o'clock. That seemed to record well. When we turned the ISF round to about 8-9 o'clock it sounded good in the room, but a little mushy in the recording.
@scarey2k7 Have to be honest - the EC100 at £199 is better than what you'd get from Epiphone at £199. However, when the EC100 is at its normal price, there isn't really anything in it between the ESP & the Epiphone.
I recorded two albums with LTD EC-100QM :)

@n00bHunter07 Ha ha - I don't think so!! I started playing when I was about 15 - played quite a lot until I was about 20, and then not enough since then!! I'm a lazy player who wants to learn scales & modes & stuff, but then after 5 minutes I'm bored & I just go back to messing around. Hence my playing hasn't really got any better for about 15 years!!

I actually prefer the Captains tone for Rhythm playing, Rob can rip a amazing lead but he cant beat your Rhythm playing!
